Users created through script - and being provisioned through another way

Hi,
I have users from partners, being created by me and also being provisioned by Oracle Channel.
Ones I delete mine, the others get deleted from the system - and not just from my folders etc.
Is there a way that we can prevent the deletion form the Workspaces that had been created & provisioned by the Channel Manager?

Odd. Bert should be OK even if you delete the first Workspace.
The way BeehiveOnline works this would only happen if you removed Bert from the group and thereby removed his rights to access any content.
A normal workspace setup would be a single workspace - controlled by the system - named GroupName_Workspace with all the members of the group in it.
If you now create a second or third workspace you can select to add users from your group to these workspaces - taking them in or out of the workspaces should have no effect - it is the Group and associated ACL structure that governs access. The only way this may happen is if you use the workspace A.participants group to add members to Workspace B. Removing Workspace A will remove the Workspace A.participants group from Workspace B - or at least make it empty if not removed - same effect.
So does that make sense? There must be something else going on with Bert that is not obvious from your description.

You can delete the partition in Boot Camp Assistant or use Camptune to modify it

Very new in Unix and i got a requirement like writing a script and schedule it, so that it removes 30 days old files from all the log locations of a unix box.
Suppose i have a unix server ltbamdev1 and in this server i have a mount point opt/bam. In this mount point i have 3 different folders like
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/opmn/logs
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/bpel/domains/default/logs
/ltbamdev1/oracle/install/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/bpel/domains/support/logs
Please help me in writing a script which runs once a week and removes all 30 days old files from these three folder locations.

Error creating folder /scripts and /css with 'upload to ftp host'

We have had a website designed for us, although I personally would like to update the website as and when needed.
During the upload to the ftp host at 82% an error message appears regarding the creation of folder /scripts and after pressing resume, another reading /css.
Once finished the live site is a complete mess. If someone can help expalin simply what is going on and how i can fix this problem.

Groups created in OID - not being seen through Portal Admin

I also posted this in the OID section.
I'm working on an intranet application for my company, and trying to structure Groups/Users in the OID to enable role-based security.
I'm having a problem where the groups created in OID through the OID Self Services Console, cannot be viewed in the Portal Administration page. I have assigned all users to the groups I created in OID, and made the "NEW GROUPS" members of the oip_available_users, and the AUTHENTICATED USERS groups. From what I understand, if I make them members of these 2 groups, they should be available for the Portal to see. Is that correct?
Has anyone else faced this problem. How can I create a group in OID and view it through the Portal, for giving privileges to pages in my pagegroup.
Any help would be appreciated!

You cannot add groups to the OIP_AVAILABLE_USERS group. Oracle Instant Portal is designed to only read users from that group.
Also, If creating groups for use by Portal 10g, using DAS, you should create the groups under the Portal-specific instance container in the directory information tree so that the groups show up automatically in the group LOVs for the portal instance. If they don't show up, you should still be able to see them if you opt to view "All Groups" from the Group portlet. In either case, the group must be somewhere under the global group search base configured in OID.
If you use the Group Portlet to create your groups, they will automatically be created under the Portal instance group container.

How to share an ipad by allowing the end users to sign in and sign out through Secure Sign-In.

First user(on ipad) is successful in logging in via Mobile Iron Secure Sign-In. First user logs out.
Second user logs in. Second user is quarantined, shows not compliant.
WLC and ISE shows first user instead of the Second user. To resolve this issue we have to manually "force device check in" in Mobile Iron.
After ipad is compliant with second user, WLC still shows the old user id under client details.
Is WLC still looking at old certificate?

I had done this before with a customer that was using Airwatch. I only handled the ISE side of the configuration but the customer had iPads that were shared between users. So the customer configured the MDM to check-in and check-out the devices. It sounds like you are trying to do the same thing but it is not working?

Automatic Pause (through program) and Manual Resume through front panel Button

Hi, I am trying to implement a system which measures voltage and current for a varying source voltage at varying temperature. The program acquires 5 pairs of voltage and current data. The issue here is that the source voltage is varied by manually changing the value of the variable resistor. What I would like to do is somehow pause the program automatically once the loop (for acquiring 5 V and I data pairs) has completed. Then, after the user manually changes the value of the variable resistor (and enters the new value through a front panel indicator), the user should be able to resume the program through a front panel button like in this example: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-10792
Is it possible to implement this in LabView?
In summary: I would like to implement a system in which the program would pause automatically after a condition has been fulfilled, and can be resumed through a front panel button.

Hi all! I've overhauled my program after learning how to create state machines in LabVIEW. I think I've managed to make it able to pause program execution by staying in the Initialize state if Pause After Measurement is set to True, only resuming measurement once the user has pressed the front panel button to Acquire Data. Attached is the code for the program.

If you mean create the Excel file and then email it to others, just create and save the file to your drive. Then attach the file to an email and send it.
If you mean having a file somewhere and several people being able to access and work on the file, that is not in the scope of Thunderbird or any other email client. You might get help with a solution from Microsoft support forum.

SharePoint 2010 User Integration with Exchange 2010 New Users Created as Hidden and Later Unhidden not receiving email from SharePoint

When we have a new employee transfer to us from another department, their email is created and hidden until they actually make the transfer so they don't have two different email addresses in our global address list. When the transfer is made, the
email address is unhidden, but then we are unable to send emails to them from sharepoint 2010 without doing an IISReset. We are using Exchange 2010. Does anyone have suggestions on how to alleviate this issue?

I have done a test, no matter the email address is hidden or not, we can both send email to the email address in the same domain.
How was the new employee from another department transferred to your department?
Whether sending emails to them need do an IIS Reset everytime.
