Users guide won't scroll and stay

just bought verizon flavor ipone 4. yesterday.
used safari to view the iphone user guide, everything fine
plugged phone into computer at home, it updated.
nopw when i try to view the users guide, i scroll up to see the bottom of the page, and the screen scrolls right back down!
this seems only to be happending on the users guide.
any thoughts?

I don't have a good response to this other then to repost in the CDMA (Verizon) section and see if someone has insight for ya there...

when I try and add new tabs for frequent websites I use the tabs won't save and stay on. also when clicking on + for tabs it's showing a blank screen isn't it suppose to show websites?

If you click the plus on the tab bar then you open a new tab. New Tabs are blank by default.
You can use an extension if you want to open a specific page in a new tab.

Zen Touch User Guide won't op

I recently installed the CD for Zen touch (just now actually) and I can't seem to open the User Manual. It just makes a noise that tells me it cannot be opened. I have Adobe Reader installed, and I even tried viewing the guide from the one posted on the main website (it shows blank on the site).
I don't know if re-installing it would do any good, but if there is an alternati've that requires less time , it would be much appreciated.

I just checked the Zen Touch manuals that are on the site and they all seem to work fine. It might be worth reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Reader to see if that hel

My ipod won't scroll and instead clicks wherever my finger slides to

I hadn't used my iPod in about a week and its pretty broken,
I try to scroll through, say my settings, and instead to scrolling down it clicks on wherever my finger lands,
will only scroll sometimes but in short bursts, meaning it can take a long time to scroll through a simple message.
Any ideas?

- First go to Settings>General>Accessibility and make sure all are turned off

My screen won't scroll, and apps won't open when touched, but will with double touch. When an icon is touched a black outline surrounds it. Any suggestions?

My iPhone 4s suddenly stopped opening apps when icons were touched. Touching an icon puts a black box around it and it will only open with a double touch, then app will not scroll at all. Also, cannot switch sideways l between home screens. Tried resetting, resyncing, no help.

Can't access User Guide after Windows 7

I did a clean install of Win 7 on my HDX 18 and it went very smoothly. Even all my MediaSmart apps and buttons work (except eject which I see doesn't work for many).
One minor detail is that the User Guide won't open. I have HP Support Assistant and on the "Learn" tab there are various items to click to learn more about your computer. All work except the User Guides. I get the following error message...."This program is not installed."
However, I did install the User Guides. It is even listed in Control Panel, Uninstall Program as "HP User Guides 0116." Anyone know why the HP Support Assistant can't find them? I also don't see them installed anywhere as there is no start menu item to click to see them.

My computer came with win 7 home premium x-64 installed.
I installed a 2nd hard drive and installed windows 7 ultimate x-64 on it - now I can boot either one.
I downloaded and installed the latest HP Support Assistant under win7 ultimate, but got the "this is not installed' message when trying to access user's guides from support assistant, and indeed, the user's guide are not in C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Documentation, so I copied x:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Documentation (where x: is my original hard drive) to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Documentation, and now it works fine from support assistant.
Also I can double-click on C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Documentation\HpDocViewer.exe in explorer, and the user's guide comes up.
Sorry, I don't know why it doesn't work for both of you, but try just running HpDocViewer.exe in the Documentation folder.

Video with JWPlayer does load, but won't play and no error message (as plug-in needed) apear. What's the problem?

video's with JWPlayer start loading but won't play and stay black with a rolling wheel. The player is shown and even full screen can be activated.
There is no message for a missing plug-in.

Do you see an error message about this in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Command+Shift+K)?
Is there a shield or other extra icon on the left end of the location bar indicating that content is blocked?

Where can I find a user guide for iTunes 10?

I bought an iPad and an iPod and discovered that I need to download and understand iTunes for most of the iPod and some of the iPad functions. To my surprise, no manual in any form was available. The staff in the Apple Store could not teach me how to use iTunes, and/or did not have the time available to explain its many operations. Its inconceivable that iTunes, a widely used but fairly complex program - from the viewpoint of a novice - can have no user guide. The help function cannot help someone who does not have a basic understanding of the program. Where do I I find a user guide? The video and text tutorials I found on one of the Apple sites are totally insufficient.

Strangely enough there is no iBooks chapter in the user guide for iOS7. It is there however, in the user guide for iOS 6.

Go to Settings>sounds> make sure vibrate on ring and on silent is on ( i am sure you did) then go to RINGTone>vibration> ( change it to rapid for example)

I wish I had the patience to reply to EVERYONE with basic questions like: 'how do I...' and 'I can't figure out how to...' and 'where do I find...' that downloading the "iPad User Guide" in iBooks or using the "iPad User Guide" bookmark in Safari and TAKE TIME TO REFERENCE FROM IT would be quicker and less stressful than waiting for someone to answer on a forum. Besides, basic user questions don't usually even get answered that I've noticed.
IPAD USER GUIDE....it's a wonderful thing, you can read it in your spare time, reference from it at ANY time and get answers AND learn new things from it!!!!!

Folks I've got a strange anomally here. I've got an aroginal G4 dual 500 running Tiger that won't provide any video por picture signal to the connected Apple 22" Cinema Display (the orginal with ADC). The machine boots and shows the grey screen with the Apple logo, then goes black and stays there, and the power light stays on on the monitor. I can still here the hard drive spinning and reading. Before making suggestions read what I've tested below:
- put 2X AGP ATI Rage 128 Pro from my G4 into other G4s (connected to 17" LCD display) and the video card worked fine.
- put other video cards in my G4, connected to 22" display, and all worked fine. These cards were slightly more powerful than the stock 2X AGP ATI Rage 128 Pro
- installed a clean OS on my G4 with no changes, monitor still comes up black.
- ran disk utilies, did the pram reset, tried the fsck rick in single user mode.
I am at my witts end.
