Users name display twice

I have lenovo 3000 N 100 0768-HCQ
On march 14 2008 I take my computer to original factory settings because advice given by IBM customer care.After that windows updates were downloaded and installed automatically.
But after this three users names are display twice.
Please help me to solve this problem.

You will not be able to reinstall Omnipass because Lenovo does not supply the setup files. It is possible to "retrieve" the setup files using certain methods, but it is not advisable to do so.
I do recommend that you try the Lenovo Fingerprint Software, since I believe it is much better than the Omnipass software in terms efficiency and integration.

The biggest limitation for content query web part is not able to go across site collections... but subsites should be ok.

User Name Display

Is there a way we can display the User name at the top of the screen when a user logins into PIA?
I see that when we login as BATCH, it shows at the top of teh screen as "SIGNED as a BATCH USER".
So is there a way that we can have this kind of display for all users when ever they login to PIA.
If so where do we need to make changes in Web Server?

Users can customize their own greetings by clicking the "Personalize Content" link on their homepages. If you want to pre-populate the greeting, then you can SQL update PSPRUHDEFN. If you prefer the user's name/description over the user's OPRID, then set the value to something like:

If you want to keep users from changing their greetings, then use AppDesigner to open the page PORTAL_HPCOMP, double click on the edit box "Welcome Message", and set the display only property on the use tab.

When I add artists to my ipod/iphone the artist name displays twice

When I go to add artists as a group to my ipod nano or iphone 4, the artist name comes up twice spelt differently. eg I see, "Black Eyed Peas" and "The Black Eyed Peas" from the Artist check list. Please note these songs are not on my iphone/ipod yet, this is me merely looking to select and add them to my iphone/ipod. Some of the songs I have by The Black Eyed Peas are from different albums but I have ensured they are all sorted by "The Black Eyed Peas" under "Get Info". I've also set the tracks to be 1 of 14 for one album and 1 of 1 for the songs that I got from compilation CD's.
I've found multiple help pages but none of them fixed the issue I am having. I am using iTunes 12.0.1.26 for windows 7. Can anyone fix this? It's itunes that's the issue it's not the device I am tying to sync it to.

The same thing happened to me when I updated to the new software when iPhone 4S came out.

Same Artist Name Displayed Twice In iPod Menu.

Lately if I put 1 or 2 songs in my itunes by the same artist but it's not bought off itunes the artist name will show up twice on my ipod. I have the latest itunes and everything is spelled correctly. PLEASE HELP!

A spelling or punctuation mistake, or sometimes a trailing space usually causes this after the artists and/or song name, which fools the iPod into thinking that there are two different artists or songs. The trailing space is the hardest to spot.
Best way to cure this is to go into iTunes, highlight that artist and/or songs, right click on them and select "get info".
This brings up the multiple song info window. If you see the "artist" field is left blank, then there is a discrepancy with that name.
So to correct this, in the artist or song box retype the name, as you would like it, and then click ok. You should do this even if no mistakes are immediately visible.
Re sync this new artist/song info to your iPod.
If the above is not the issue, try this also. Highlight all the songs for that artist, right click on them and select "apply sort field/same artist".
See if that works.

Hide password and user name fields in secure form on landing page

On a landing page I don't want the password or user name displayed in the "secure" form because I think it will keep people from downloading our e-book. It will cause what some refer to as too much friction—visitors will feel that we are asking too much of them just to download an e-book so won't do it.
I found somewhere where the user name can be populated with the e-mail address, although I couldn't figure out where to put the code to make it work.
Can the password fields also be auto-populated and hidden so the user can access the secure zone to download the e-book never even knowing that they had a user name and password assigned to them?
I'd really appreciate some help here and please keep in mind that html and css is where my expertise stops so if there is a java solution I will need the code and how and where to add it.

My lock screen just shows a black background and a User Name/Password dialog after opening the screen from sleep. How do I get it back to where it blurs my desktop image with the dialog and my account image displayed?

I'm not sure when it began, but now my Macbook Air only shows a black background and a User Name and Password dialog box when I wake it from sleep. It used to show my desktop background blurred with my user name and icon displayed with only a text field for entering my password. I'm currently using Yosemite (OS X 10.10.1) and all updates have been done. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I know this isn't a real problem, just an annoyance since I couldn't find how to change it back in the System Preferences.

I just have to point out that after looking at a related post (https://discussions.apple.com/message/22661092#22661092), it brought to memory that my issue most certainly began happening after I added some DoD certificates to the keychain. This obviously has something to do with it, but it still leaves me wondering what actually causes this to happen. :/

Project Server 2010 - Updated User Profile - Display Name is Old Name

Similar to question"It shows the Domain\Logon account instead the User Name (up right corner)" but not quite the same. I also checked on the related topics list and could not find a solution.
We have a Resource in Project Server 2010 whose name changed. This included a change to her loginID as well as her email address. I went in to PWA > Server Settings > Security > Manage Users and changed the
Name, Email Address, and User Login Account fields accordingly. When the user goes into Project Server or any of the Project Sites, her old User Name is reflected. If she accesses any other SharePoint site (not associated with Project Server) her
new name shows up in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
We do not have AD Synchronization turned on.
How can we edit the name that appears in the upper right corner of the screen?

Use Display name shown on right hand site is not from PWA, its from SharePoint User profile. When we make change to user display name, sometime SharePoint Still retain the old account and also add new account. To fix the issue we have to remove the user
profile from PWA root site.
Open PWA and navigate to following path
Site Actions>>Site Settings>>People and Groups
Click on More from left hand site list of groups
Select appropriate group, belongs to the user
Select the user and from Actions tab remove the user. (you may see two entries old and new), Either you can delete both or click on each account to validate correct user ID.
Once again navigate to PWA>>Server Settings>>Manage User
Edit affected user and click on Save
Have user log on to PWA and validate the result.

How to display the User Name in Transaction MM04's output

Hi Experts,
My requirement is that in the Transaction MM04's output, along with all the fields displayed, I also want the User Name to be displayed.
Here User Name must be the Person's Name and not the ID of the Person.
Is there a way by which I can achieve it?

Exporting Users by display name with Apostrophe

Looking to read in a list of users by display name, grab additional properties, format and export to a new list.
This issue I have is users with apostrophe's in their display name do not get parsed properly. I'm not sure how to leverage the ` in this case to escape that character

What I mean with this is, if I have a an input of file of AD users by display name and one of those contains an apostrophe, for example Joe S'mith.
The ' in the name does not get parsed properly and I wind up getting output similar to the following.

When there is call on Lync IM, instead of user name SIP address is displayed.

Lync: User name of instant message.
When there is call on Lync IM, instead of user name SIP address（[email protected]） is displayed on Office365.
In February I was guided that it was temporary problem, however again there is problem that SIP address is displaying all the time.
Inquiry content are mentioned in separate sheet ■SIP address is displayed when IM is called, is it specific, however if one can view user name, Let me know the best way and please confirm this.

ABAP Email Sending Program: Change Display user name in email

Hi All,
I have developed an email sending program using function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. It is working fine but there is requirement that when the customer receives email, in the display name of sender, there should be some fixed name. But here in this case it is picking the Sy-uname i.e. system user name who is triggering the program.
I also tried the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, but it only changes senders email address, and the requirement is to change the display name in email.

You will have to use ABAP class CL_BCS. With it you can specify the sender, both the address and the name.
          lv_smtp_addr = iv_senderaddress.
          lv_smtp_name = iv_sendername.
          call method cl_cam_address_bcs=>create_internet_address
            exporting
              i_address_string = lv_smtp_addr
              i_address_name = lv_smtp_name
            receiving
              result          = lo_sender_address.

How Do I Display the Current User Name on SharePoint

I have a customer using a hosted SharePoint 2013 multi-tenant solution and they have asked to have the end user's name to be displayed when logged in. It seems like I have seen this done on other SharePoint deployments but I can't seem to figure out how
or where to enable this now.
Can anyone tell me how to display the current user's name in SharePoint 2013?

Displaying user name after editing banner...

I edit the banner's greeting to <center><FONT color=#004080>Welcome to MyCompany</FONT></center>. Now it doesn't show the user name. How can I show the user name again?

Wherever you want the user's name to appear in the banner, put the following:
#USER.FULLNAME#
For example, if you write:
Welcome #USER.FULLNAME# to the Funny Farm Portal, it should display
Welcome Mike Smith to the Funny Farm Portal.

What is on public display - my User Name or MY name?????

Could someone kindly tell me what they see displayed for me as author of this post?
I hate forums that fail to clearly confirm whether a USER NAME or a PERSONAL name is on public display.
On my monitor, all I see is my REAL name when per my custom settings I was expecting to see my avatar and USER NAME, perhaps with something such as "hidden from view" where my real name would be if I weren't asocial and paranoid to CONFIRM that the only thing publicly displayed is indeed my USER NAME.

On thing that is nice, when your Logged on if you want, you can through your User settings change your Username Like mine I have in the past changed mine to B and nothing else) the members on the forum still see you as what you chose when you made your username up for the first time you came on here but when you look at your profile and the post you post.. You see what you changed it too..
