Several retailers are offering a "3 Month Skype Unlimited US & Canada Calling Subscription Card". I already have an Unlimited US & Canada Calling Subscription, so can I use this card to pay for my next 3 months of my already-existing subscription? If so, how do I do that? Thanks.

Can anyone use your Skype number to make calls? I had a return call today from someone I do not know and they were returning a call they said I made earlier today and this person had my Skype number correctly. How can someone, or anyone for that matter, use my Skype number to make calls? Is there a way to stop that? Anyone with an answer, please respond.

But how many out there in BT land actually do change it?
BT only prompt the user to change the default admin password if and when they first access the hub.

I reckon hardly anyone would change the wireless key to be honest , but I wonder how many leave them in a window ...

I have a 12 month subscription to Unlimited US/Canada calls, July 14th is the anniversary. I just redeemed 300 Bing points for a 1 month subscription to Unlimited US/Canada calls, expecting it to extend my existing subscription. A reasonable expectation.
But it seems to run concurrently, expiring mid January. That seems wrong.
Skype? Microsoft? Care to comment?

Display Skype Number on Forwarded Calls

First, I have a Skype Number and I pay for a Skype Premium account. My Skype Account stays forwarded most of the time to another phone.
When someone calls my Skype Number and it forwards to phone, I would like my Skype Number to be displayed on my phone as the Caller ID. Is this possible?

technically it would be a violation of Skype terms and conditions for three users to use the same Skype account, but a call to a shared Skype Name will ring, more or less simulataneously, on all Skype clients where this Skype Name is signed in
but it IS possible to forward any unanswered call to as many as three other Skype Names at the same time -- ringing stops when one of those users answers the incoming call, and it does not matter if they are already in a call (essentially Skype has built-in Call Waiting capability)
these users can each have their own calling subscription, and it sounds like Unlimited Europe would be a likely candidate -- whether you administer these accounts under Skype Manager is up to you, and the main consideration will likely be whether you want to fund the subs centrally, or let each user expense the services separately

I have a Skype number and a U.S. Canada subscription. When I try to forward to a local number, I am told that I need Skype Credit or a Subscription. But I have a subscription.
I have tried this from both the browser and the windows desktop app. I have the latest version installed.

I just purchased a subscripiton for skype for $2.99 for a month of unlimited US calling. then when i tried to place a call, it still says "To call phones, you will need skype credit." when i try to dial the US mobile number I am trying to call.
Do I have to "activate" my subscription now that i have bought it?

I have had an Unlimited World subscription for a number of years. When I upgraded to Skype Premium the charge included an Unlimited USA & Canada subscription that is redundant. was this a mistake? Why do I need to pay for a subscription that is a subset of the one I already have?

I'm new to Skype and need some help. I am going to Italy for a while and would like to be able to call family using Skype. Some of them do not have Skype accounts which is where the following questions come from:
If I purchase the Skype Unlimited World subscription I am able to call mobile and landline numbers internationally, correct? (I will just be calling the U.S. from Italy)
Also, if I buy that subscription am I given a Skype number so that others may call me from their mobile and/or landline numbers?
Lastly, if people can call my Skype number from their mobile and/or landline numbers, are they charged for the call, or am I charged for the call?

1. If you are just calling to the USA you only need the Unlimited USA/Canada Plan @$2.99/month. This Plan enables you to call both landlines and cell phones in the USA from anywhere in the world including from within the USA.
2. No. You must purchase that separately.
3. A Skype Number is a regular landline # so calls to it will cost whatever the caller's carrier charges.

I was calling other party using android skype app and they mentioned to me that they can see who I did call before them.
Very disturbing privacy flaw.
