Using 8900 curve as a modem with Vista - can anyone help me connect??
Hi, new user here, seeking some help if you guys can? I want to connect my laptop running vista to the net using the 8900's modem, and have followed the instructions here:

But...I cannot get my blackberry to do this. It dials, then when verifying username and password, gives the error:
Error 734: The PPP link control protocol was terminated.
I'm on O2, so using username 'o2web' and password 'faster'. Has anyone out there done this and have you got any pointers to success? Cheers,

I went to www.crackberry.com. Go to
"Blackberry General discussions" then
"Blackberry Tips, How to & FAQ"
search for "8900 as modem".
The directions I used are by "kcladygemini", It works!
I have Vista and an 8900.

That's not how unlocking an iPhone works.
The carrier the phone is locked to submits a request to Apple, wh updates their database. When that is complete, you restore the phone with iTunes to process the unlock. -

My iMac 24 can no longer be paired with the keyboard; it doesn't recognise any keyboard at boot up, even the one it is paired with. Can anyone help, please?
Thank. SimonBrian - The batteries are fine and there has only every been one keyboard paired with it. We have tried my MacPro keyboard as well, and it will not even recognise that there is a discoverable keyboard nearby.

I'm trying to activate my 2nd generation apple iPad. It wants me to sign in with the original apple id used to set it up. I no longer use it and don't know the password to the apple id. Also, the email used to set it up has been deactivated. Can anyone help???
If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I had some problems with my MacbookPro and did some clean up and further back-up (time machine already in place for a long time). Now, suddenly I can't access my pictures anymore through iphoto asking me for a library (never asked for before) and I have no clue where the pictures are actually saved when imported in iphoto.
