Using a cookie from one application web site to another application
Hi,
I have a big application written in ASP/CF. In this
application, I added a link to my small application in CF. Both
apps are on the same server but separate websites. I liked to use
the user admin functionality that is available in the big
application into my small apps. What I need is the cookie userid
from the big application so that I can use it. How do I go about
that? Can you please provide a sample code?

Cookies, by definition, are web site specific. You can set
them to be
shared across sub-domains, but you can not have one domain
read another
domains cookies. To do what you want one of the applications
will have
to pass the desired value to the other in some manner of your
choosing.

By default there's no automated way to move page from one site to another within Adobe Muse. However, you may manually copy the content of the page and paste in place on the new page you created in another muse site.

As far as your another query is concerned, the export page option you see as shown below :
is used when you publish the site to the hosting service and if you un-check this option the page won't be uploaded to the hosting service or won't be exported.

I am getting messages that I can't download and read .pdf files since I have the wrong Adobe reader. I know about their security disasters of course, but I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader from the Adobe web site and I have other ,pdf file readers as well, and for some reason they won't work either. I have 5 computers running top end processors and RAM. By this I mean I have one, this one which I am using that has an AMD Phenom Black 3.2 Quad-core with 8 GBs of Corsair top DDR2 RAM, my other two AMD have either an Athlon II triple core with 4 GBs of DDR2 Corsair RAM, one with the Phenom X4 965 3.4 GHz Quad-core with 8 GBs of their best DDR2 RAM, and two Intels with the i7 920 Processors using the triple channel 1366 socket processors and one with 8 GBs of low latency DDR3 RAM and the other with 4 GBs of the same RAM. I am getting the message on this one, which has a fresh install of XP Pro X64 operating system, as do the other 4 as well. I have run Avast Business Pro Anti-virus on this one, which I am getting the message on with a single result which I deleted, and also both Spybot Search and Destroy, which came back clean as well as Malwarebytes Antimalware, which got a lot of tracing cookies now removed, and SuperAntiSpware which also found a few cookies also now deleted. Can you tell me what I need to do to get these files to show as .pdf files rather than as a clean blank page. One other issue is that I wish to know how to turn off my downloads so they are saved and Mozilla will give me the option of returning them instead of me losing them all together as it does now. Thanks for your assistance. If there is another Adobe reader I should download and install, could you provide me with the link to it? I appreciate your assistance here

I've been doing content, not design or posting.
I have a website established and managed by a web creation and support firm. It is
SigEpDavidson.org
The firm proposed the design. Content is 100% me. The Calendar is a link to my iCal published calendar on my mobleme site. The logos, graphs, maps and lists were done in my computer and sent to the firm for posting. The Family Tree is done on my computer and sent by email to the firm then posted. Photos are n iWeb and linked to SigEpDavidson.org. Updates are done by me emailing the firm monthly except for those pages linking to Mobleme which I update directly.
The firm does not want to continue doing the site so I may take it on. This means I would use iWeb and buy some web hosting space or use iDisk space to host it. I'm comfortable with computers and have lots of content that is not posted and know how I want it shown. I am not comfortable with iWeb and hosting either at iDisk or another place.
Do I find another firm? Do I leap into iWeb? Do I host on iDisk? Do I host on another site?
I want the name of the site to remain: SigEpDavidson.org
Getting the Domain name from the firm is ok.
I've walked through video tutorials for iWeb and looked a some of the Discussion Board issues. It seems if I want to use iWeb I'd better take a day and get through every help file, tutorial and post to understand it.There is not really that much to understand about iWeb and it is extremely easy to use.
What you do need to understand though is that if you do want to use iWeb for your website, you will have to re-build it completely and from scratch, as it has no import facility, so is unable to edit a previously published site with html files.
Also, you need to backup your domain file or you will lose everything and have to start again. Once you open iWeb and create your first site, everything is saved under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. Note, that it is your User Library and not your System Library, as iWeb is not there.
It would be cheaper in the long run to purchase hosting space from somewhere like GoDaddy or HostExcellence and if the company will let you have the domain name, then transfer it there or wherever you get hosting space from. It makes it a lot simpler to do that. -
How do I get Elements 11 to download part 2 from the Adobe web site?
I purchased an upgrade from the Adobe web site to take my Photoshop Elements form 9 to 11. I could not find any instructions, so I decided to download the alternate method consisting of two parts. I got part one downloaded. Then I tried to download part two. The download no longer did anything. I noticed on the bottom of the screen where the part one progress bar had been, there was now a note that said there were local updates to be done. I said OK and the updates ran as four parts. When they were done, I again tried to download part two. Nothing. I then decided to try the Akamai (sp?) Download manager program. It would not download either. Should I wipe out part one and start over? Or, is there another solution? I am using Windows 7. Thank you.

That's odd - if you open Disk Utility (Applications->Utilities) and select the disk(s), how are they formatted? If you're only going to be used with your Mac, they should be formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)".

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I have downloaded a pdf from a journal web site. I need to review this article and make comments in the text. After doing this and saving the file, when opening the saved file, I can only see the highlights where I made changes and the list of comments that I made, but I no longer see the original text. If it works in Windows Safe mode then you have a problem with other software, possibly security software or a system driver, that is running on your computer.<br />
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

but they are original?If the printers are identical that should not be a problem. If the printers are not identical then it simply will not work. Each printer uses different cartridges unless it is from the same model group as the other.
In analogy that would be like asking why the spark plugs from a Porsche don't work in your PT Cruiser.

Due to Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer I uninstalled the program. When I re-installed Photoshop Elements 12 on the same computer the "Photoshop Elements 12.0.exe" file is not available. I have tried loading Photoshop Elements 12 from the Adobe web site without success.
The Elements 12 shortcut can't find the Elements12.0.exe file so the program will not load. I can load the editor from its .exe file but not the organizer.
