Using a Jar file into my jar project (Applet)

Hy,
I would like to know how I have to do to put a jar library in my jar file (containing my classes) ?
I use only 2 classes of that particular jar library (Regex.class & RegRes.class), and when I only put the jar file (patbinfree153.jar), the applet stops when its reaches the first line where i use this class.
this line :
Regex Mon_Regex = new Regex("(([<][iI][mM][gG][^>]+)[sS][rR][cC][=][\"]{0,1}([^\"> ]*))");However, it works when I launch the applet in AppletViewer, but doesn't work anymore when I create a jar file, and open it through my web browser. (I signed already my jar file, and it works until it reaches this line). That it to say that the jvm can find the 2 external classes when I run the program trough Eclipse, but can't find them when I create my package .jar. (I hope I am clear)
Do I need to extract the folders of this jar file ? Because I dont think the import works with those two classes. Or can I just put those 2 classes like my own classes, in this case, what to write for the import line ?
the import I do :
import com.stevesoft.pat.*;Thanks ^^

I think I found a beginnig of solution, but I still have trouble.
In the tutorial you gave me, it is said to add the following line in the manifest file to use jar in jar :
Class-Path: JAR-FILE.jar(here is the source : http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/deployment/jar/downman.html)
I did it, it works fine locally, but when i put my html, jar, files on my web site, my applet seams not to find the other jar file again.
Locally, the architecure is the following :
\upload4.html
\upload4.jar (its manifest have the class-path line linking with patbinfree153.jar)
\patbinfree153.jar (contains 2 classes I need)I uploaded the same architecture on my web site, but it doesn't work. The applet stops when it reaches the 1st line where I need one of the patbinfree153 classes.
Any idea ? :-)

  • Is it possible to Load External SWF files into Flex Mobile projects?

    Hi Guys,
I'm trying to load an external asset in this cse (a SWF file) into my flex project (Apple IOS IPAD), don't get any luck. Can any one suggest a solution ?

In Apple's words, "No interpreted code may be downloaded or used in an Application except for code that is interpreted and run by Apple's Documented APIs and built-in interpreter(s)".
Hence external swfs cannot be loaded in iOS.

As I said - look whether your original file is damaged or not. If not, I wouldn't change it and find out what in your system makes it sound like it's clipping.
Good sound file, with volume maxed out. No need to change anything.
The same song clipped - no chance to repair.

  • Consolidating ALL third party files into the Logic project.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?
Kontakt samplers, custom patches of 3rd party synths never save into the Logic Project.
Is there a way to get them to consolidate into the Project Folder?
I constantly find ive lost files, need to re-link them or get lost with locations.
If there was a way to simplify this it would be great.
    Any ideas?

    - Put the jar file on a location you want (the location must be the same for all developers).
    - Select the "Libraries" node of your project.
    - Press the right mouse button to bring up the popup menu and choose "Add JAR / Folder..."
    - Locate and select the JAR file you need and press OK.
    - Now you have included it into your project.

  • Importing WAR file into Web Module Project

    Hi,
I am brand new to SAP and i'm trying to help out with a proof of concept for our SAP rollout.  I am trying to import a J2EE application that currently runs on WebSphere 5.1 and was developed using WSAD.  I found a blog on the SAP site and it gave a simple run down of how to Migrate from WebSphere application server to SAP Application Server.
    Here is the link: /people/community.user/blog/2007/03/06/migrating-application-from-websphere-application-server-to-sap-was
The steps seem simple enough yet I am having issues trying to import my WAR file into my Web Module Project in Netweaver.
Step 4 gives the following instructions: Create a WEB Module Project and import the WAR file.
Unfortunately, they do not give more detail besides Import the WAR file.  When I try importing my WAR file, it adds the WAR file in my Web Content folder.  I was expecting it to extract all my java classes and my jsp files but this is not the case.  To do this, I right clicked on my Web Module Project while in the J2EE Explorer view and selected import file and selected my WAR.  I'm assuming this is not correct.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Phil

    Hi Phil!
You don't need to create previously a web module to import the war then.
I'm assuming you're using NWDS (Netweaver Developer Studio). Try this. In NWDS: File -> Import... ->
then, select "WAR file". After that, you need to inform the path of you WAR file and automatically it will fill in the name of your project, that you can change if you desire. After that, click in Finish and it's all.

  • Importing 16 bit file into 24 bit project

    Whats up guy's
When importing a 16 bit file into a 24 bit project
should I convert the file to 24 bits or keep the
    original 16 bit depth?
I'm aware that the sample rate is converted to the
projects sample rate when importing files as long as
the corresponding checkbox is enabled in the project
    settings - assets pane.
I'm also aware that conversion can be done at a later
state after importing, but I'm curious about the best
or proper approach. Should this be done prior to importing
or should the file be kept in it's original state (16 bits)?
PS - If you could provide the chapter or page of the manual
this information is on that would be extremely helpful.
    Thnx in advance

    Qstn wrote:
When you say "alter the file's sample data" are you referring to
edits done in the sample editor or sample rate conversion?
both would qualify. there are some corner cases where bit depth does not matter when destructively editing sample data (as I outlined in my initial post).
If you're talking about the sample editor do you mean converting by
saving a copy as 24 bits and making edits to the copy might show tiny
    improvements?
    yes.
At this moment I don't intend on destructively editing the file but
you never know how processing and mixing might go until your done.
ok. if your file is read and processed in realtime (or via a frozen track) then there's no loss - logic will convert audio samples during playback to a 32 floating point representation as it is read from disk, before it enters the mixer, or is processed by your plugins.
i'm not sure if source bit depth determines bounce in place format- if so, and if you use this feature, then you should convert the source to 24 bit.
the end point is: unless you are desperate for disk space, just convert it to 24 bits. 16 bits is very 'last millennium' in modern production stages - there are a few exceptions to that (e.g., if the files are used by a software sampler, or if the format is required for compatibility with other hardware or software) but... most of the strong arguments for 16 bit died years ago. so, i'd say it's best to consider 24 bits as the minimum during production unless you have very specific reasons to go below that (and you fully understand the tradeoffs). if you want to know the 'whys', that's fine, of course. curiosity and knowledge don't hurt. if you're only looking for a recommendation, that's my recommendation.

  • Inserting a FLV file into CS5.5 project

    Hello,
If anybody is able to help me with my question I would be forever grateful.
    1. I use CS5.5 and I have published a captivate demonstration as a MP4 - then converted it to a FLV file using Adobe Media Encoder.
    2. I have then inserted the FLV file into another captivate CS5.5 project and published the file as a flash file.
Problem - The FLV file plays when previewing in web browser, and also plays on a public file location.  Problem occurs when I load the published file onto a web server I get a connection error when I get to the slide with the FLV file.
I am really stumped with this one.  Has anybody any ideas?
    Thanks
    ali

    Hi Rod,
Attached is a screen dump.  I can understand why when I publish the final flash version to a web server that it does not recognise the path of the FLV file as it is on my local drive.  However when I attempt to place the file name of the file sitting on the web server I get another error message (Refer to screen dump 2).  Obviously I am missing something
I am missing here.  Thanks ali

  • Using property files into an EAR Project? How?

    Hi there,
I'm pretty new to j2ee development, so i hope i'm not asking a silly question.
So what I have done / wanna do:
    - I created a ejb module project with several ejbs and several java classes in it
    - I created an ear application project to deploy the ejb module project
    - I am succesfully deploying my ear on my j2ee server
So after all, I want to load different properties of some java classes through properties files (*.properties). How do I do that in this situation? Is there a way to use properties files altough the whole ejb project (containing the properties files) is packed into one file (the ear file)?
I hope someone can help me an I'm pleased for every message

  • Other problems with loading Captivate files into Flash AS3 project

I have a Captivate file done with Captivate 3, published to
Flash player 9 that is being loaded into Flash AS3. The captivate
is a simple recording of some mouse clicks in a browser. I am
displaying the playbar along the bottom, and its buttons all work
fine except for the progress bar, where you can drag the knob and
scrub back & forth in your presentation.
This progress bar is not working as it should. I see the
mouse cursor change to a hand, but when I click I cannot drag the
knob to control the progress bar. The other buttons in the playbar
do work (replay, pause, play, back, forward).
This is a unique problem in that it is only happening when
viewed in IE (7) when loaded into my Flash AS3 project. When viewed
in Firefox in my project, or as a standalone SWF, or as a SWF
simply embedded onto a plain HTML page, it works just fine.
    Does anybody have any insight?
Another thing I notice with loading Captivate files with AS3
is the the amount of output messages it displays. Rather annoying
(unless this is a "feature" I've yet to be aware of - heh)

  • Is there a way to attach files into a Captivate Project like Adobe Presenter?

    All,
There are things I like about Adobe Presenter and things I like better in Adobe Captivate.  Is there a way to attach files like spreadsheets, PDFs, and Word documents in Adobe Captivate like you can in Adobe Presenter?  It is real easy to do and I find it hard to imagine tha Captivate does not have an easy mechanism for doing this unlike Adobe Presenter which does it naturally.
I am working on a project that has a complicated Table of Contents that Adobe Presenter cannot handle (yet Articulate works creates TOCs without any issue).  All the slides visible or none or lack of grouping options are not accpetable.  So I am redoing this in Captivate.  For the most part I am having no issues with the TOC but the point of this little project is to disseminate a spreadsheet to audience members that care to download it.  Here is where Presenter is better since it is real simple to do this.  Am I just lost in Captivate or do I need to do something "un-godly" complicated for a simple task?
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
I'm using Presenter too, not only Captivate. Use Presenter often as wrapper for CP-movies (if I do not need the right click functionality). And I agree: some aspects are more attractive in Presenter (thinking about the Notes panel, the automatic adaption of the languages...). But you have to miss grouping in the TOC, and for real eLearning with interactivity, branching, I go for Captivate.
If you want some features transferred to Captivate, why not filling in a feature request? The form is on the main page of these forums.
Just wanted to help you. The action 'Open URL or File' is not that complicated to use.

  • How do we use Script (batch file with msbuild/msbuild project) to build Cordova Project created with Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova?

I use Visual Studio to create Cordova projects. I need to build Cordova projects using msbuild and buildbot via script for my project but I can find only information about how VS combine with Cordova CLI to build multi device hybrid application.

    Hi Samseth,
Yes, correct, the only thing we can find on the MSDN is:
    Deploy and Run Your App
And that's the reason why Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova existing.
I think you may get more detail compile information from here:

  • Can I include java files into my javafx project?

If I do so, exception always occurs until I delete the created java files.
