problem: using a macbook pro with itunes (v.e.) and a projector; no visual effects on projector justifyable
what i want: visual effects on projection / controlling itunes on macbook (via second window or miniplayer)

Using Win 7 and latest download of iTunes, the software will not recognize my music CDs when inserted in my DVD drive. I put a CD in the drive and nothing happens. iTunes does not have a "start" button, or some menu option to tell it to begin copying music to the library, so it just sits there. When I first installed iTunes, it would open the CDs, but I would get an error message after the first track started to transfer. Now, after a coupel uninstalls, disc cleanup, etc., nothing happens when I insert the CD. I am lost here and about to sell my new Ipod Classic because it is useless to me. Maybe I'm just too old to own something like this? Any (serious) suggestions would be appreciated.

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first.

Reset the PRAM
Reinstall the operating system from the dvd (you will not loose your data)

Graphics and Fullscreen Mode

Has anyone had problems with graphics and Fullscreen mode? I have a .png to show what im talking about if that helps. and also if it helps i had just gotten out of full screen mode.

Need a liitle more clarrification on what the problem is.
Most graphics would open in Preview by default.

Hold the Home + Power button simultaneously for 10 to 30 seconds. Your device should boot into it's original state. If it doesn't, put your device into DFU mode (Google/Youtube how to do so.), and restore your device.

When I use my iPhone and go into the iTunes Store Search, it clocks/gets-stuck in Loading. Also if I select iTunes and App Store in Settings, nothing happens. Any advice? Thanks.

Help about importing files and fullscreen mode

sorry but i'm kinda new about this. I'm creating a kiosk for my company which uses a touchscreen PC like what you see in the malls right now i.e directory. Im using flash cs5 and AS3. My problem is when I imported video / swf file in my stage (which is in full screen when loaded in projector), the video / swf file automatically change to full screen also. What I like to do is even if my window is in full screen mode, the video will still be the same what I set it to be. For you to imagine what im doing is in my homepage, my buttons would be video/swf files placed side by side. Once I click on one video it will go to another scene just like a website. I tried to google about this but no luck, all i find is how to import. These are the codes i used to load my project in fullscreen mode automatically.

as u have said, i remove scale_fit line but still in full screen. when I run s swf file the video automatically converted to full screen. what i only want to make full screen is the stage where the video is located. is there some command i need to do on this? I tried to use this using AS2 and its ok, the video didn't go full screen even the stage itself is in fullscreen. but i really want to use AS3 because of some features. If you can help, it will be great. Thanks lot!

Macbook pro retina and Fullscreen mode freeze

I cant get fullscreen playing in FCP 7 on Macbook pro retina mid 2012 running 10.8.3mountain lion
It wil show only a stil image and not play the video live.
This happens on the macbook, and on external monitor, in all display settings available in fcp7. It worked some months ago thou... may there be a osx problem?
Can I go back to earlier osx?
Anyone using 10.8.3, retina, and can do fullscreen mode?

What format sources and what are your sequence settings? I seem to remember that some non-standard formats will not play in full screen mode.
Also, you might try deleting your preferences. I strongly recommend using digital rebellion's preference manager to back up, trash and restore fcp and many other apps preferences.

When I run my program with -Xtoolkit prism vm argument I can't run in fullScreen mode, the program just ignores the fullScreen: true in my stage. Is this a bug?

Reminder: the Prism toolkit is experimental on the desktop, and should be used only for experimentations. So, yet, expects bugs, limitations, unfinished things, etc.

Grab and fullscreen mode?!

So I have the mail app running in fullscreen mode and I want to grab a screenshot. I am trying to use grab and press the cmd+Z but just get the "not allowed/error" bleep. Does grab not work properly in fullscreen mode or am I missing a trick?

No need to use Grab, just use the Command (⌘)-Shift-3 shortcut

When I use getURL to launch a browser window, or make an exec

fscommand, the standalone projector jumps out of fullscreen.

Why I can't use a projector with rented movies from ITunes

I rented a movie from ITunes, I downloaded to my Ipad and I tried to watch it in my projector, the communication with the projector is good, but when the movie start my IPad says that the display that I am using is not a supported display for protected material, but with Netflix it works perfectly. Can someone help me out here?

By default Apple does not allow you to project or put any rented material on "external" devices i.e screens or projectors
You may be better off contacting your local Apple Store
