Using Access on a webpage

I currently have a web page with a list of links to other
sites. These are subject to change often and it would be easier to
change a database and then import that info into the web page. I
have the data in an Access file and want to be able to populate the
web page using this Access information. How is this accomplished?
So far, all I have read pertains to capturing data into a database
and that does not work for my purpose.

I'd write a script to connect to the Access database, query
the table which
holds the data and then display the information on your web
page. You would
need to use ASP, .NET or Coldfusion depending on your server
setup.

There are two main methods for working with MS-Access databases in Visual Studio with VB.NET. One method you go through several steps which the IDE data wizard creates strong typed classes and assist with binding fields in the database table to controls
such as a DataGridView, ListBox, TextBoxes etc. The second method you actually write all the code which can go in two different directions.
Which one to pick is dependent on your expertise in general with VB.NET. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

WRT54G2 and WRT54G locks-up (freezes) when blocking web sites using Access Restrictions

I am convinced that a few Linksys routers such as WRT54G2 and WRT54G have a major issue when blocking web sites using Access Restrictions (Internet Access Policy). After a few hours of internet access by 15 wired users the Linksys locks-up and blocks all internet web access. The only solution is to restart the power on the router.
We are currently using a Linksys WRT54G2 v1 (firmware 1.0.04). We upgraded the WRT54G2 v1 firmware to the latest 1.0.04 version which did not resolve the issue. NOTE: We were previosuly using a a Linksys WRT54G v1.1 (firmware 4.21.1) until the power supply blew a week after we started blocking web sites using Access Restrictions (Internet Access Policy).
Basically, we have a T1 internet connection and a hub connected to the Linksys router. We are trying to block several web sites such as facebook, myspace, etc. for 15 wired users. We do not use wireless connections.
This is the 2nd time it happened with 2 different models.
Please help ASAP.

Also, you have already upgrade/re-flash the firmware of your Linksys Router you need to reset and reconfigure your router from scratch. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

CRM_MKTPL_CAMPTYPE data element use access error in z-table

Hi Friends,
I am using CRM_MKTPL_CAMPTYPE data element in my z-table for one z-field. While activating the z-table I am getting the folowing error.
The Object Table Zxxx uses Data element CRM_MKTPL_CAMPTYPE, Package Zxxx does not have sufficient use access.
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.

I added "SAI_TOOLS" in Package Interface Tab but I am getting the following error "Package interface SAI_TOOLS available already".
I was tried with other option adding SAI_TOOLS in Use access Tab from the previous posts. But it didn't wok for my case. I think we need to add similar kind of Package Interface which is related to CRM Campaign.
If any one face this kind of issue please respond to this post.

Problems using access control in sender agreement for SOAP adapter 7.1

I am trying to use Access Control Lists to restrict user access to web services/interfaces which are exposed via PI. This can be configured via the Integration Builder Directory using the u201CAssigned Usersu201D tab of both Communication Components (Business System) and Sender Agreements.
The configuration is via the above mentioned components. However, I understand that itu2019s the adapters which at runtime are responsible for actually applying these checks.
I have been having problems getting the access control to work using a setup involving a SOAP adapter of type SAP BASIS 7.10.
The symptom of the problem is that although the access control works as expected at the Business System level, any settings at the Sender Agreement level appear to have absolutely no effect whatsoever.
I have confirmed that I have no problems if I use an adapter of type SAP BASIS 7.00. However, I really need to get this working on 7.1.
I have looked on the SAP support portal but can not find any notes that relate to this.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? And have you found a fix for it?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Using access keys in inactive frames

We are trying to make an existing website DDA compliant and want to use access keys to assist the keyboard-only user to navigate without a mouse. The site uses frames; we cannot change that as some 6000 pages are involved.
We have implmented access keys in one of the 3 frames. This works fine in Internet Explorer and Firefox regardless of which frame you are on. However Safari does not see the access keys unless you are actually on the active frame. The thing is that we want to use the acess keys to navigate between frames.
Is there anyway that we can get Safari to behave the same as IE and FF?

For 1: you can try and access the af:query component and call getChildren() to see if you can get a hold of inner components (e.g. buttons). By default, the access key for the advanced mode button is not exposed.
For 2) Same as for 1. This is not exposed and all you can do is to check if getChildren issued on the RichPanelCollection component reference allows you to access the command button and then set the access key to it
Meanwhile I'll file an ER to make access keys generally accessible for change (which however may take time before this gets implemented)

Is there a time limit for how long a free form that is created can be used/accessed, or is it soely dependent upon when the 50 respondent max has been reached? I am creating a form now, that will likely be distributed in early January, and I want it to be accessible through the end of June, 2013. (I am simply using the option to create a single form for free- not the 30-day trial).

There is no time limit. The limit is the 50 responses.

Package does not have sufficient use access

Hi,
I am trying to generate a client proxy(using SPROXY, enetered Package name, Prefix, Request number-> and click on Complete) but while activating client proxy i am getting this exception:
"Package ZBI_FI does not have sufficient use access"
Note: ZBI_FI is a package name under which i am generating my proxy. Infact if i choose someother package(like ZBI_PI etc) even then also i ma getting the same error.
This is a package related issue or some roles need to be assigned on my userId???

Issue in OIM 11gR2Ps2 while provisioning using access policies

we are provisioning resources using access policies, we are facing any issue while provisioning resource using two access policies. we are populating the main process form data using two access policies, according to the access policy priority we are seeing the first access policy form data value in the user process form, but the second access policy value is not showing in the user process form, for example we are populating processform fieldvalue1 using access policy1 and processform fieldvalue2 using access policy2.

we are facing issue in the following scenario
we are provisioning a resource based on the user position through access policies, for example a user position "contractor" is satisfies two rules based on the rules he will get two roles, these two roles trigger two access policies, and two access policies giving same resource for example "AD", in AD main process form there two lookups(lookup A,lookup B), we are giving looukp A value in acess policy1 and lookup B value in access ploicy2, when ever user gets AD resource through these roles, after provisioning when we see the user process form only lookup A value is there and lookup B is empty.But i want to get both lookup A,lookup B values, what i observed was based on the priority access policy values are comming to user resource form, the next access policy form values are not reflecting the user process form.

Extreme mouse cursor lag when using Accessibility Zoom (Fullscreen) in Yosemite

I have a Retina MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite (10.10), clean installed, connected to an external Thunderbolt Display. When I zoom in using Accessibility, I experience a very prominent lag, moving my mouse cursor (either with my Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad or the built-in Trackpad) around or when zooming out. It is especially visible when zoomed in on applications like Calendar and Mail. This never happened in Mavericks. My settings are as follows.
I've tried creating a new user account on my Mac and the problem still persists, which leads me to believe it's a bug with Yosemite.
Anyone else have the same problem?

I also have the same exact problem. I have a i5 iMac Mid 2011 with an upgrade to 10.10 Yosemite connected to an external display. I like you never had this issue with Mavericks. Zoom is so painfully slow now that I had to disable it. My iMac has 12 GB of RAM and even with no apps opened, zoom is killer slow.. makes me want to punch a wall-kinda slow.
I think it's clear to say that something is up with 10.10.. some bug.
Apple please fix us zoomers

SSRS report using Access database in SharePoint.

I have created SSRS report using Access database. I have successfully deploy SSRS report in SharePoint document library.
When I am opening the same report I am getting following error.

Packages and Use Access in Proxy development

Hi everybody.
I am desperately trying to generate an ABAP Proxy on my XI System. According to my documentation I should start by creating a new package and declaring a Use Access to the package interface SAI_PROXY_PIF.
However, everytime I try to do this, I get the error message "Package interface SAI_PROXY_PUBLIC_PIF points to a package that is too deeply nested".
Ok. So I create another package, include my first package in this package and try to declare a Use Access to package interface SAI_TOOLS_PIF, in order to mimic the package hierarchy in the SAI proxy runtime. But I get the same error message there...
Unfortunately I am not familiar with the new 6.40 package concept and Use Access relationships. Could somebody please explain to me what I am doing wrong?

I'm going to guess that you have a good reason for wanting to use MS-Access as the back-end database, but why use Forms as the front-end? Why not just use Access's UI?

Is there a plugin to use TextAloud to read webpages?

The TextAloud manual says I can use it to read webpages in Firefox. The TextAloud toolbar should show up on "View > Toolbars", but it doesn't.

It depends on what you're asking.
After Effects can link the values of any digital audio file's amplitude to virtually any other parameter or control within AE. With the use of equalization you can make certain frequencies control different parameters. The 3rd party plugin Trapcode Sound Keys makes that process much easier and faster, but you can do it natively within AE too.

But as you mention ANALOG audio I'm not sure what you mean. Do you want real time animation generated from an external audio source? After Effects can't do that - it doesn't do anything in real time.
Apple Motion can assign parameter controls to MIDI controllers, allowing you to control parameters from a multitude of devices like musical keyboards, drum pads, MIDI mix controllers etc.
