Using Adobe Acrobat Reader with Mysoclab

I am using mysoclab for an online class that I am taking. It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 6 times and it is still not recognizing it. The mysoclab tech department said I should contact Adobe not them. I am hoping to get this resolved soon so I can complete my class.

Unable to Print using Adobe Acrobat Reader - MacBook Pro - Wireless Environment

I have a Macbook Pro with 10.6.4 OS
My printer is the HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One
It is connected via ethernet cable to my router (Netgear Wireless N Router) via 10.0.0.1 Wireless Setting.
I am able to print everything with any programs, except Adobe Acrobat.
When I send any files to the printer, i get the following error:
Error: pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err number 13
I uninstalled the driver, installed it (from the HP website latest driver), I'm able to get the printer to work on everything else, I'm able to print a test page, but... I can't print anything with Adobe Acrobat...........
Any suggestions? I do use Adobe Acrobat Reader a lot

OK, let's try more thoroughly uninstalling the hp software for 10.5 using the 'scrubber' option. First, install the wrong software from the CD (for 10.5) so we can more thoroughly uninstall it. Next:
Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard/ click on HP Uninstaller
Click on Continue
Highlight your device on the left pane
Hold the Ctrl, Opt and Cmd keys and click on Uninstall << This is the scrubber option
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall ALL hp software. (At this point, if you continue, any HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click Continue and let it finish
Restart your Mac
Now, run a Software Update.
Finally, download and install the "Full Featured" Driver and Software from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.

I have some question to ask about Adobe acrobat reader and Adobe acrobat professional.
Is it possible if I use Adobe Acrobat reader to input data in PDF file that is generated by interactive form using web dynpro or Abap program. I try to use acrobat reader. It can not input anything into PDF Form but I'm not sure it may be can or not.
After I change PC that is install Adobe Acrobat Professional (offline: I save pdf file form web browser). It can input data into PDF Form.

1) You only need a Adobe Reader (Version 7.0.9 or higher) to enter and Save data in Adobe form. Just install the latest version of Adobe reader (8.x)

2) Please make sure you are creating Interactive Forms, and not Print Forms. for example, if you're using Java Web Dynpro, you need to enter the following code to make the form Interactive (so data can be saved within):

iForm1.setDynamicPDF(true);

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

I was trying to download a pdf document form the web. When I went to do so, I got a message stating that I needed the latest version. So, I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The problem is that it does not read any documents that I click. How do you use this thing? Why isn't it automatic?

Adobe Reader and Flash Player are different kinds of things, not opposites. You can have both.
However, it still seems that the simplest thing is to just save the document. Apple have made this easy, but well hidden.
In Mavericks, I have to move the mouse to the bottom centre of the window with the document, then slowly move the mouse up the CENTRE of the document. A little toolbar appears, with four buttons, and button 4 is download. I hate this sort of thing, but that's how they all are these days.

Testing an application that uses adobe acrobat pro with a trail version

I have a program that references Adobe Acrobat Pro. We previously were using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 8 and would like to upgrade to the newest version. I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI to test the program with, but I get an error when trying to create an adobe object. The error says that it cannot create the object. In doing some research I've found that this is likely a result of me having an unregistered version of Adobe Acrobat Pro on my machine. It is unregistered since it's the trail version.
My question is, am I able to test that the program will work with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro without having to buy it first? We would like to be sure it's working with the new version prior to buying licenses for the version for our users.

The error that I am getting is "Cannot Create ActiveX Component". It's occurring when I try to create the object "AFormAut.App". Below is the line of code that is throwing the error.

Need help using adobe digital reader with screen reader software

I am helping my father, who is blind, and uses Window-eyes screen Reader software, which reads his computer screen to him in an audio voice. We just bought an ebook, downloaded adobe digital reader, but his window-eyes software will not read the book to him when we have it displayed on his computer screen. Is there a solution to this?

I use program PDF Converter Professional.When downloading from the net I want to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to open downloaded pdf forms. Adobe Acrobat is my default program but Firefox keeps using PDF Converter. How do I change this?

Acrobat Reader is the default program for all variants of pdf files, both in Windows 7 and in Firefox.

So you have a trial version of Acrobat (that is not activated) installed? If so, uninstall it.
Do you also have Adobe Reader installed? If so, you need to open it once and accept the EULA.

How to I stop the Preview Pane in Windows 7 retaining control when I open a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat (Reader is NOT installed)

I have the preview pane active when selecting PDF Documents. When I open a PDF document I am unable to save any changes. the error message I receive:
"The documents could not be saved. The file ma be read-only,or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name of in a different folder"
The document is not read only and no other user has it open. If I turn the preview pane OFF there is no problem saving changes. I have also un-installed Adobe Reader.
Other programs (such as Excel, Word) do not experience the same problems as the PDF documents.
Does anyone have a solution?

It sounds like you just need to associate the PDF filename extension with Acrobat, rather than Preview. Please see this document from the Microsoft Help for instructions on choosing the default program for opening a particular file type (in your case, PDF): Change which programs Windows uses by default - Windows Help

Unable to use Adobe Acrobat Reader and/or install version 8.1.2.

I was unable to use my adobe reader so I tried to download 8.1.2 and during installation I get the 1417 error message saying unable to remove version 8.1.2. Will not let me finish the installation process?

When I tried to install msicuu2.exe, Error Message: Windows Script Host Active X component can't create object: 'WScript.Shell' Source Microsoft VB Script Runtime Error.
I edited the registry and remove all versions of Adobe Reader, shut down all software, and still was unable to load Adobe Reader 8.1.2. I have to integrate MS Office 2003 and ADOBE Acrobat reader with SAP very much like that demonstrated in SAPRDEMODOCUMENTCONTAINER program given in the control examples by SAP. But the problem is, the code I am developing and even in the one given by SAP has some problems in them. They are:
(1) When a MS Word or any application is opened, many of its attributes are
disabled like CTRL+ N for opening new document and CTRL+ O for opening
an existing file and many others.
(2) When I try to open an existing file using the recently used list, it is opening in
a new window but my requirement is to open it in the same window in which
the application frame is displayed over SAP screen.
(3) I am following the same procedure that is used in the above said example and
unable to understand the way methods of the inner most interface are implem-
ented like method CONTAINER_CONTROL->CREATE_DOCUMENT that is
called from within I_OI_DOCUMENT_PROXY~CREATE_DOCUMENT method. I
am clueless how it is working.
Please guide me how to solve the problem along with some good reference material that you can suggest me to study.
