Using Adobe Form with SRM Functionality.

Hi Friends,
Our client wants to achieve the total functionality of SRM Purchase Order and Shopping cart through Adobe Form.I would like to know if any of you have come across such a scenario where Adobe Form has been used to replicate SRM purchase Order and Shopping Cart functionality.
It would be a great help to us if you kindly share your experience of the above scenarios.

Summary

New functionality/Enhancements provided in SRM 7.0 for print forms is only
available in the SAP Interactive forms by ADobe and is not available in
Smartforms delivered by SRM.

Cause and Prerequisites
All new enhancements or functionalities are supported only in SAP
Interactive forms by Adobe which is delivered as part of the SRM 7.0. The
Smartforms deliverd in previous verions would not have any new enhancements
from SRM 7.0.
So it is recommended to use the new SAP interactive forms By Adobe instead
of the Smartforms for print and output in SRM 7.0.
Solution
The customizing required to switch to the new SAP interactive forms by
Adobe are described avaiable as part of the customization documentation
againt the IMG entries for Output:
the documentation and the respecitive customizing can be accesed in the
following manner:
Step 1:
Goto transaction SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Supplier relationship
Management -> SRM Server -> Cross Application basic settings -> Set output
Actions and output Format -> Define Actions for Document output.
maintain the action defentions for all purchasing documents for which the
new forms are intended to be used in the above mentioned customizing.
Save the customizing
Step 2:
Goto transaction SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Supplier relationship
Management -> SRM Server -> Cross Application basic settings -> Set output
Actions and output Format -> Condition-Dependent Document Output.
maintain the conditions for output for all purchasing documents for which
the new forms are intended to be used in the above mentioned customizing.
Save the customizing.
For more details on each of the above mentioned steps access the
corresponding documentation againt the respective customizing entry in
SPRO.

How do I get the adobe form in customizing? I have put the FM 'FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF' in business transaction Event, BF31 - P/S modules of SAP app - 00001720, Fi-FI. But it is still not recognizing the ADOBE form.

I am also working for calling custom adobe form instead of sapscript.
While configuring BTE 1720, i noticed that configuring BTE only FI-FI application does not solve the purpose. You need to assign function module FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF for all Application Area Indicator.
Adding to IS-PS will allow to print for customer.
This solved my problem. But this setting is global so you need to take care of it.

Is it possible to use Adobe Forms with 4.6C

Hi Experts,
We have client who have got 4.6c as R/3, and they wanted to build some Adobe Interactive forms on it.
As per my idea, to build the Adobe Interactive forms we need to have minimum of Netweaver 2004 for runtime environment.
If I am correct, can we build the forms in both of these combinations Netweaver 2004 and R/3 4.C.
I f this combination doesn't support to run adobe forms can any one please advise me what are the upgrades needed for R/3 4.6C to make it work.

Offline Integration of Adobe Forms with CRM System using Web Service

Hi Experts,
I have a business requirement in which the end user us given an Application Form.
The user can save the form locally and fill the data.
Now the requirement is that when the end user clicks on Submit Button on the form, a web service is called and the entire data in the form is sent to CRM System.
I want to know is it possible to capture the entire data filled in the form in a web service???
Also the other major requirement is that i need to send the application form also to the CRM system.
I need to store the form as attachement for a Business Partner Record.
Is it possible to capture the data in the adobe form and still attach the form as attachement in an Offline Scenario????
Is it possible that a Web Service can be called on click of button in the form and still be able to attach the form itself as attachment???

Form with webutil functions. How identify if user is using native internet

Hello,
I have one form with some webutil functions. How can i identify if a user is using the form with native internet explorer?
If a user with jinitiator use the forms, its ok, but when a user use native internet explorer, he gets error orcle.forms.webutil.fileTransfer bean not found. WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.getMaxTransfer will not work.
When the user use internet explorer native, I want disable the webutil function before generate a file on the application server and then download to a client machine.
Im using Forms10g and Forms10gR2.

do you have two different config-sections for the two modes?
If so, you could either place a different value for each one in the otherparams-tag and read that at runtime, or use a different env-fiel and set some variable with different values for each config in there and read it via TOOL_ENV.

How can I use adobe forms to force payment (with PayPal) to ensure payment before registration? Or is this an issue with PayPal?

I am using adobe forms to create a registration form for a workshop that I am holding. It is a $10 charge to attend however I am having difficulties ensuring the payment goes through before the participant is put on the registration list. Is this something I can fix through adobe forms or should I be going through PayPal to fix the issue?

Adobe Forms with APO DP Livecache

We have a requirement where in we need to develop Custom UI to show APO DP data in Real-Time. This means, the custom UI should read data directly from Livecache and we plan to use Adobe forms for this. My question is, can adobe forms read & write data from Livecache? If yes, how would this be achieved. If any one can help with a realevant pointer, it would be a great help.

Hi Ganesh,
There is no SAP provided standard functionality available to directly convert livecache data to adope form. You can transfer the results of DP realtime data into excel sheet and then convert to Adobe forms.
But you need to customise integration of Adobe form with livecache data as per your requirement.

ECC 6.0 and using Adobe forms in Output

Hello,
We're moving to ECC 6.0.
Is there a driver program for Invoicing that would allow us to use adobe forms
as output from within S/D e.g. (from txn VF03 for a invoice).
Scenario:
We have a custom SAPScript invoice that we would like to consider rewriting as an Adobe form. I've created an equivalent Adobe form and now I'm investigating a way to integrate it with the standad Output Determination.
From txn SPRO, under Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Output Control>
   Output Determination>Maintain Output Detemination for Billing Documents>
   Maintain Output Types
   Select output type ZRD0
   Select processing routines from the left pane.
   There is a choice of selecting Smartform or PDF as the type.
   There is a smartforms driver program RLB_INVOICE.
Question:
   Is there an equivalent driver program or sample driver program for Adobe forms?

Did you check in transaction SFP what are the form available in your system ?
Also , check in the standard print program if it has been adapt to use Adobe Forms instead of smartforms because it's not the same FM used .

Rearrange pages when printing adobe form with multiple master pages

Hello!
Good day to you all.
I have an issue in regards with printing my adobe form with multiple Master pages. I have 4 master pages:
1st master page: a
2nd master page: b
3rd master page: c
4th master page: d
all with different headers and footers all having the same contents (items). I don't have issue with one page content (it just prints 4 pages with different headers and footers). The issue comes out once the items exceed 1 page.
What happens is that the preview/print shows (example: 3-page item)
a1-a2-a3-b1-b2-b3-c1-c2-c3-d1-d2-d3.
What i need is to print these such that all 1st pages of the 4 master page to be printed first, then all the 2nd pages, then all 3rd pages. Please see below:
a1-b1-c1-d1-a2-b2-c2-d2-a3-b3-c3-d3
This is because we will be using carbonless copy paper during printing and it's possible that it would be printed on batch jobs. Please suggest ways to do this.

Is that requirement of multiple pages as groups only at the time of print or at print preview also...?
Can you have a Print button on this screen or you should be using the Abobe toolbar's Print button..?
Well if this on a click of a button in the form and the requirement is only at the time of print and not on print prieview I can have a JS script which does this...
Let me know if this suffice, I can try with a local file and send you the script.

Hi Bhavik,
there is extensive documentation on creating PDF-based forms for printing in ABAP Workbench (transaction SFP) on the SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d2/4a94696de6429cada345c12098b009/frameset.htm.
The infrastructure is identical (ADS on Java Engine) except that you need an ABAP backend (minimum 6.40) and the corresponding SAP GUI. You also need to create an HTTP connection from your ABAP system to the ADS in transaction SM59 (see ADS Configuration Guide).
Your Adobe LiveCycle Designer installation from the NWDS should be OK, if you are working on the same frontend. (If you have difficulties with Designer, uninstall it and install it with the SAP GUI again).
Note that Web Dynpro for ABAP integration is only supported as of NetWeaver 2004s (going into ramp-up with mySAP ERP 2005 this month), which means that interactive scenarios are more cumbersome to implement in ABAP with NetWeaver 04.
Some of the things you get with the Web Dynpro framework (such as the return of data in interactive scenarios via the WD context) would need to be manually coded when working in SFP, which was designed for output forms.

We are extremely sorry that you have had a bad experience with Adobe .
As far as your issue is concerned ,Acrobat generally prompts for internet connection as it is required to activate the product before you could use it comfortably .Once the product is activated or licensed you would be able to use the software offline .
This could be the possible reason you are experiencing this .Please check if you have done so and still facing this .And if you have not ,you need to license/activate your product by typing in your credentials ,i.e Adobe ID and password .

Test inside the table is truncated when integrating Adobe forms with WD4A

I am facing issue in table when integrating adobe forms with web dynpro for ABAP.
Whenever the pagination happens the text in the table row cells is truncated and it starts from next row in next page. Is there any properrty of table in Form builder which I can use to allow the test to go to the next page?
