Suppose you should have all your songs and apps in your iTunes. If so, just get the new iPod synced with your computer, everything can be synced.
If your old iPod is an iPod Touch, you can restore from a backup of your old iPod if the old iPod used to be synced with your computer.
But, the items will be deleted if your old iPod was synced / copied songs / apps from the other computer, and those items is purchased by other iTunes account, and your computer is not authorized.

You can buy whatever ipod you want.
Damage is not covered by warranty so they will not replace it under warranty.
All of your music/apps should be in itunes on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer.
Just sync it to the new ipod.

Cannot use Adobe to view pdf in your web browser

Running Acrobat Standard 8 on a Windows 7 machine with 4 gig of memory. Upon installing Acrobat 8 on Windows 7 I get a pop-up window everytime I try to open a pdf in a web browser. Using IE8 and FF 3.5 both give me the same error.
"Cannot use Adobe Reader to view pdf in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again. (attached)"

I'm having the exact same problem. After clicking OK on the dialogue the pdf file loads just fine.
Checked the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat\Exe key - Acrobat is pointing to the right place. There are no references to acrord32.exe in the registry at all.
I've removed, reinstalled and installed all the latest patches, but nothing seems to help.

I just got the iPhone 3G S Friday and this is my 1st iPhone. Can't believe how many apps there are. I just wanted to know what everyones favorite apps are.

I've deleted more apps than I have kept. Just download and try 'em on for a bit. It doesn't take long to try them out. It's part of the fun of the iphone.
Some of my favs that I've kept and use regularly are flashlight, bump, iWant, Urbanspoon, ihandy level, soduku, and pandora.
My kids grab my phone and play FS5 Hockey, tap tap and reversi.

Can you change devices and keep all of your same apps if they are not saved on iCloud?

Looking to get a new device - have a 4s want to get a new one to replace my current - and I want to avoid downloading all of the same apps that I currently have on my phone without purchasing more iCloud space.
Does anyone know if there is an alternative to purchasing more iCloud space? Would be very helpful.

With the new device you can go to the app store and iTunes and tap Purchases and redownload...you can also login to iCloud with the new device and sync apps.

How to use Adobe Kuler?

Hi, i was wandering how to use this tool in the right way. I'll better explain myself with 2 examples:

1) the colors look great together. let's think of the yellow, fits perfectly with that kind of blue. I'm sure that starting from the same yellow, i would never get the same blue. It would always be a blue too dark, too saturated. This one instead looks perfect.
How did they get such a perfect match ( i got this combination online )
Starting from the yellow, how could i find that perfect blue using a tool like Kuler?
2) i copied that combination for a graphic, but i need to match 4 more colors with them. How can i find 4 colors that fits good with them? I tried using the complementary color of each one of them, but at the end the new combination looks too dark compared to the starting one. How can i find the right 4 colors?
I already read something about color theory, and already spent hours trying to find the right match, so i'd be very glad if someone would guide me to find the answer to my questions, using kuler or another way. Thanks

Executing SCM transactions using /n prefix vs executing from your favorites

I am working on the U.S. Navy ERP project. We are using ECC 5.0 and SCM 5.10. I would like to know why when manually entering the transaction code in the command line from the main menu in SCM I have to prefix the transaction code with /N otherwise I get the error message Transaction does not exist. If I try to create a favorite manually using insert transaction and input the transaction code using the /n prefix I get the error message transaction does not exist. If I go to the SAP menu tree and find the transaction it is not listed with the /N prefix.Any explanation as to why SCM doesn't recognize the transaction when entered in the command line without the /N and doesn't recognize the transaction with the /N when manually entered as a favorite would be greatly appreciated. l

This is a good question and a basis expert may be in a position to explain more.
I understand that, in APO start screen since the transactions are not in the main SAP menu, we need to prefix the transaction with a /N ( for APO functionality related transactions) and also for other applications like EM, EWM, SNC etc.
Examples: /SAPAPO/SDP94
If we are at the main SAP menu, then we do not need to prefix the transaction with a /N.
Some of the basis related or generic transactions are placed on SAP Main menu.
Examples are as below:
SMQ1, SMQ2,SM37,SU01, SE38, S_AP9_75000094, LC10, ST06, SM50
For the above transactions you try, and you will notice that you do not require to prefix /N.
When we create the favorites , the transactions are placed on SAP main menu.
Therefore, we do not need to prefix /N.

What are your favorite apps/new features you like after the 2.0 upgrade?

I discovered one feature by mistake, after finally getting my iPhone going again! I pressed the top button and home button at the same time once and saw a white flash on the screen! It turns out it works like a print screen button!! Very cool! Whatever you see on your iPhone, you can save directly to your photos, just press those two buttons simultaneously once until it flashes! If you guys already knew about this, I apologize. Please post any other favorite new features or apps here!! Thanks.

Well the update worked fine for me and one thing I love is that I can access the app store using the Edge network & not just via wi-fi. but if i can access the app store over the edge network then why not allow users to access the itunes store over the edge network as well? either way i'm happy. also, i liked the fact that when i tested the "locate me" feature in maps that the iphone prompted me for permission. that's a great security feature so that other ppl can't try to access your phone remotely or something and try to determine your location w/o your permission.

Like the title says.. i've been wondering if there is any way to see how many apps you've downloaded, when you've downloaded them, and what you downloaded?

Is it possible to get back all of your pictures that was on Lightroom after uninstalling and re-installing the software?

I recently had to get my Mac completely rebooted by having the OS reinstalled and the hard drive replaced, due to a conflict with Adobe and my Mac. I had to uninstall and reinstall all my softwares, including Photoshop and Lightroom. They didn't mention anything about losing all your files. And now, I am left with nothing on my lightroom; all the files I had were very important. I thought well since it is an app, there must be a way to restore all my files. Is there??

All of the files that you were working on and managing in Lightroom were not actually "in" Lightroom. Your files are stored in folders on your computer. Lightroom simply points to those files and displays them. Reinstalling Lightroom would not have any impact on your image files unless the hard drive(s) were reformatted in the process. Lightroom uses a catalog which is a database to keep track of where your images are located. It also stores all of the adjustments made to your images. If you backed up that catalog before reinstalling your software, and if you still have all of your images, then you should be able to open that catalog that you used previously and have all of your work still in place. If you don't have the catalog then I'm afraid you will just have to start over. Whether or not you still have your image files isn't clear.

How can I add a button to add multiple image in PDF from using adobe acrobat pro?

I have to create a pdf form using Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
In this form I want to add a button where I can add multiple images to the field.
I have tried using javascript event.target.buttonImportIcon(); and successfully add an image, but when I want to add the 2nd image it automatically overwrites the previous one.
Is there any way to solve this issue? I would like to have a form where I can add a lot of images in it. It is possible in word, but we really have to use adobe.

I can add multiple button, but if there are 10 images that I wan to add, then I have to create 10 buttons.
Moreover, the pictures will be placed on top of each other and it means that you cannot see it clearly.

You can still create and edit PDF forms in Acrobat. Were you using Adobe Designer before to create your forms?
With the desktop application FormsCentral for Acrobat (comes with Acrobat XI Pro) you can create unlimitted PDF forms.
If you want to collect data then you will need a FormsCentral subscription.

When you restore, you can restore to factory settings or to a backup. Restoring to factory settings removes everything and takes you back to out of the box status and you start all over again. Restoring from your backup will replace all of your app data, bookmarks, email settings and things like that. You still may need to sync all of your purchased apps and music, photos and so on back to the iPad.
I assume you want to restore from your backup to put all of you data back on the device so connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, right click on the device name on the left side under the devices heading and select restore from backup. After you restore from your backup, make sure that you sync all of your other content with iTunes.
