Using an asset as a button

Hey guys, I have a question about buttons, and using an asset under the "style" tab of the inspector. The file I want to use for a rollover is too complicated for an overlay, but looks fine when I add it as an asset to the button. The only problem is that it pops up right away, where as I want it to start a while after the menu intro. Any tips? Thanks,

You need to use the loop point setting, and you can only do this if you create a standard overlay menu and add an overlay file for your button highlights. Any shapes or buttons you add directly from within DVDSP will appear from the outset, whereas an overlay will allow you to fade in the button text as part of your background, and set active buttons at the loop point marker.

How do you apply a Motion Video Asset as a button on a layered Menu?

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a layered menu with 2 x Motion Video Asset's as buttons (toggling between the two buttons for selection & activation).
When I add a menu - The motion video asset is perfectly displayed as a button in the menu screen. But when I add a Layered Menu and drag my motion video asset across, it does not show the video...it shows an empty square/button in the menu screen. When the drop-down menu pops up when dragging the video asset across, I choose 'create button & track' as when I choose the other option, the 'templates' window pops up and I have my own layered menu created by Photoshop, so I don't want to use the templates. Please help?? Thank you. Anthony

I have hidden unwanted books from the purchased area of the iBooks store, but they're are still appearing on the front page of iOS as cloud downloads, is there a way to remove these from iBooks without using the hide iCloud books button?

Let me explain a little more. I had downloaded a lot of free books in the past as a trial when iBooks was first released and since then I have decided I no longer want them, because of this I hid them from the purchased section of the iBooks store. The 5 books left are ones I decided to keep as seen in the following picture.
This is how it appears in iBooks on my mac. There are 4 books downloaded and 1 book that I have decided not to download at this time. I would still like to keep this book available in the cloud incase I want to download it again in the future. You’ll notice that hide iCloud books is not selected, if I wanted to hide the book that I have chosen to keep in the cloud, but have not downloaded yet I could.
This is exactly how I think this feature should work. If you have hidden a book from your purchases it should not show up in the mac Ibooks app. (I am aware you can never actually delete a purchase, just hide them and that hidden purchases can be restored to your account from within the account management section of the iBooks store).
The iOS app is working differently for me. Here is a picture of the purchased tab on the iBooks store in iOS Ibooks. Again notice that pictures of Lilly is still yet to be downloaded. This is how I expected it to look.

In case there was an issue with syncing I tried logging in and out of my iTunes account via settings in iOS. Force closing the app, disabling automatic downloads and removing my device from iTunes in the cloud. Syncing with iTunes on the mac did not correct the issue either.
Interestingly I have the same issue on my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.3 as I do on my iPad mini suggesting that this might be an issue either with my account or with iOS iBooks software in general.

Is it that you are using a PDF-based form? Did you copy and paste the Yes/No fields all the way down your form? If so, then all of the yes/no boxes are copies of each other and have the same name and properties in the PDF.
For example, if you had:
     Question 1 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
     Question 2 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
     Question 3 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
     Question 4 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
Then whatever answer you selected in Question 1 would populate down through the rest of the form.
Changing the Yes/No field properties in questions two through four would eliminate the problem.

Thank you for responding. So I essentially will never be able to use that button in lightroom 5? do I need to get LR 6? Will there ever be an update for LR 5 that will enable me to use it?
Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?

In Firefox 3.6.10 I was able to go forward and backwards between pages without the page defaulting to the top of the page. Is there any way to prevent the page from automatically moving to the top when using the forwards and back buttons in Firefox Four?

I like to be able to navigate backwards and forwards without having to scroll down and find where I was previously. In Firefox Four, when using the forwards and back buttons, the page will automatically return to the top of the page. Is there any way to change this setting in Firefox Four to prevent it from doing that?

Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five,
(Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)

When using the "Save as PDF" button

When using the "Save as PDF" button/function on the "View Responses" page for a selected response will the resulting file be savable locally and printable on 8.5x11" paper?
Also its Help bubble says that is savable as a PDF form. Does it really mean as a PDF file? Because saving it as a form appears to be a different option according to one pricing structure.

When you use the Save as PDF a pdf file if the form is created and saved to your local machine. When you save as PDF you have the option of having the resulting pdf file have a submit button or not have the button. There is also a feature where you can export the form to a template format called FCDT.

I kept forgetting and procrastinating about following your instructions, since I have internet access only for limited amounts of time and usually I am busy with important tasks when I am.
Out of the blue, the problem corrected itself (the Save As box started to open full screen, then shrunk down to a normal size and the edges can now be dragged to a custom size).
Even the copy and paste problem in the filenaming area seems to have been less troublesome lately even though there have been no updates to Firefox in a few weeks.
Even though I marked the solution as not helpful, the problem has in fact been resolved. I will save the solution instructions in case the issue returns.

There is a problem with using the new Hotmail attachment buttons with firefox 3.6.8

I use firefox 3.6.8 browser and was unable to use the new attach file buttons in the newest version of hotmail. .
I sent a help request to microsoft and got back a 'generic' answer that the new hotmail works with all browers; ie, safari, chrome and firefox 3.0+.
Well, that is not exactly true. Because I then troubleshot the problem by opening hotmail in ie vice firefox I was able to attach multiple files (pics/documents) with no problem.
I then went back to firefox and still had the same problem.
The mouse pointer just hovers over each icon where there should be a button and no clicking is there to be clicked....so, there is no way to attach.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

How to Use Same Asset Number with Different Sub-number

We want to sell some assets and buy them back on lease. We want to use same Asset number with different sub-number under the same company code. This new asset will be under different Depreciation Area (Statistical).
We use external numbes for assets . And same asset number range is used by all compnay codes.
Please suggest whether this is possible & how.

Hi,
Go to field status for asset master data section and change the field status to optional for field Deactivation date, then follow the below steps.
You can create an sub asset number to an asset, which is already deactivated by retirement as like normal sub asset creation with AS11.(While creating sub number, you need to remove cap date and deactivate dcate field manually from asset master)
With this you can get new asset number as same as your old retired asset main number and but sub number will be different.
To post to diff dep area, other than 01, then you first create an acq transaction type, which will post only to specific areas and then use the new asset number in ABSO to post acq with your custom TTY.
I have tested and found working well in my system............Try now in your test client

I'm using library assets to manage my navigation. I then
insert the library asset into a template and use that template for
creating content. The idea is that I add or remove a navigation
entry in one place and it updates the entire site. That's working.
My problem is that the source code looks awful: it insists on

I'd try resetting the pse 12 preferences by going to Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor (Edit)>Preferences>General
and click on Reset Preferences on next launch, then restart pse 12.
