Using an old hub on a different but existing bt br...

Looking to see if anyone can help me. I have just upgraded to infinity and i would like to use my old home hub 2.0 in a new flat. it has an exsisting bt broadband connection but an old router. Can i upgrade the router to the now redundant home hub 2.0?
I have tried connecting but it wont pick up the broadband does bt "lock" its hubs to specific lines?

Have you pressed the reset button for 15 seconds to dump ALL previous config settings?

Looks like its fixed. I am syncing it now. A lot of the answers are for the new iphone so i had to mess with a bunch of settings as well. My old phone is now an 8 gig ipod. the books app no longer works and that *****.....but better than nothing...

I want to re-use my old airport express base station but airport utility doesn't recognise it anymore (it dates from 2005) i would like to use it to connect to my speakers only

I have an old airport express base station from 2005
I would like to have a network on it so i can put it upstairs in a room and connect my speakers to it so i can send my music (from itunes) over the airport to my speakers.
I reset it and now i want to configure but the Airport utility doesn't recognise it anymore.
Can i update the firmware? has it become useless because too old or what can i do?
I work on macbook pro with macOSX 10.9.4

Please locate the model number on the side of the AirPort Express. Hard to see.....gray lettering on a white background....so you may likely need a magnifying glass and good lighting to see it.
The model number starts with a "A" followed by four numbers. If you see A1084 or A1088, unfortunately AirPort Utility 6.x in Mavericks OS X (10.9.4) does not support these older models. However, you can still administer these models if you have a Mac.....or can borrow one for a few minutes....using Leopard (10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x), or a PC with AirPort Utility installed on the device.

Upgraded to Firefox 4.0 Can see and use all old bookmarks folders and bookmarks, but cannot see any of the old folders when I attempt to bookmark a new page- only see Bookmarks toolbar & Menu and unsorted bookmarks

Had several bookmarks folders under old Firefox. After upgrade to 4.0 all of these still work via bookmarks menu. Problem is, when I attempt to bookmark a new page and place it in one of my existing bookmarks folders with 4.0, the only folders that Firefox can see are the bookmarks toolbar, bookmarks menu, and unsorted bookmarks. How do I get Firefox to see the old folders so that I can continue to put bokmarked pages in them??

In the "Edit this Bookmark" window, use the 2nd drop-down button, that is to the right of the "Folder", to open a larger window that will allow more folder to appear. See the sloppy red arrow on the screenshot below.

Recently I upgraded my old HDD on my MacBookPro. I made a clone of the old disk, installed the new one in the MBP and putted the old one in external enclosure. Now I'm trying to use the old disk with the enclosure, but it doesn't appear in Finder, it appears in Disk Tools, but I can not perform any actions on it. I tried to erase it, but with no success! The old disk is GPT protected and I don't know what to do. Tried to erase it with Windows and Linux with no success neither. I know the enclosure works because it recognize every other disk, but my old one is untouchable to my Mac OS! I'm looking for possible ideas on how to make my old HDD usable with the enclosure?

There is no other way you can do now. Actually, you don't need to create a new Apple ID account, you can change the Apple ID from old email account to other email accout easily by all the steps below.
1, Open iTunes > iTunes Store > log in old Apple ID > Click on your apple ID on the right hand side on top > choose account > Apple ID > Edit
As long as you only change your Apple ID, then all the old apps are still under your new email account as well as you can keep downloading new apps.

Making a new Apple ID was the worst thing you could of done. This is very bad to do. Not sure why people do that. Your Apple ID is Your Apple ID. You only need one and it is best to only have one Apple ID for all apple devices.

And since the old e-mail address is no longer active, I can't even chenge the password- becasue it's sends the link to do so via e-mail! Even when I use the "ask personal questions" option to verify and it asks me for my date of birth, I put it in and it still won't acccept.

You don't need to do anything. iTunes will automatically recognise different devices as different devices. Just plug it in.
You can rename the device by clicking the name in the side panel in iTunes for your own identification purposes, but this name does not matter to iTunes.

I have now migrated my stuff again - I think the problem is that I clicked skip this user on previous attempts. Now I have 4 different users, one has my photos, one has my music and another has my documents as well as the one that is my usual one. You may want to check to make sure the clip hasn't been moved back and forth between wide screen and standard aspect ratios; sometimes a combination of letterboxing and pillarboxing can lead to a black frame "windowbox" when playing the final video. You may find the following article helpful:

I have a new powerbook and want to give my girlfriend my old G4 power book, she has a new iphone 5s, and wants to create a new itunes/apple id. When i try to de authorize the G4 and sign in with her new apple ID it says bad password, how can i release the G4 from my cluster of authorized apples and make her the owner so she can download music and more importantly sync her music with her phone, she only has 3 songs on her iphone, and loaded all her CD's into the g4 but cant sync, im no dummy and this shouldnt be hard, but its driving me crazy!!!!!!
