Using aperture 3.2. How do I convert my photos back to high mg count so I can upload to a site for printing LARGE?
Help. Is it possible to convert my manipulated images (which were originally shot in RAW format) and manipulated with "plug ins/COLOR EFEX PRO" in my APERTURE 3.2 program on mac... back to a high mg count? It seems they got diluted with each layer I added. When I uploaded them to a website for BIG CANVAS printing they arrived at that site watered down to 2.-4. mgs. When they started at 18 to 20mgs.

The other... I did realize that if I export and resize the photo in MOST cases I can get almost recapture the exact clarity.
Can you give an example of the cases that still look "diluted"? What image format do you use to send the images to the plug-in (in the Aperture Preferences -> Export: psd or tiff, 8bit or 16 bit), and which export do you use when exporting from Aperture?

The Genius at the Apple Store restored my phone to factory settings. You would have to restore the backup, import the photos to your computer, then restore as new again.

In your case you can only restore from a backup that has been created with the same iOS version. An iPhone 4 can only run 7.1.2, and, unless your iPhone 5 did not run the same version, you can't use a newer iOS backup of the 5 on the iPhone 4

You're really going to need to explain that. What's "USB"? Do you mean a Disk, Drive or volume connected by USB? How is your iphoto set up? What version are you using?

I have just had jb Atlanta's problem while adjusting the contrast on a photo. I was creating a slideshow at the time. After a lot of reading up I was about to give up when I tried restoring the file to its original settings as you suggested. Bingo!
However, that would only work for me, if I restored the settings while in the slideshow. All data had 'disappeared' when I attempted to open the photo in its original project folder.

I tried exporting the file from Quick Time to my desktop, but the file extension reads as .m4v - is that compatible with other pc?The M4V format is a video file format developed by Apple and is very close to the MP4 format. The differences are the optional Apple's DRM copyright protection, and the treatment of AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio which is not standardized for the MP4 container.
If your M4V video is not unprotected M4V files and without AC3 audio. It may be recognized and played by other video players by changing the file extension from ".m4v" to "mp4".
So you can try to change the file extension and check if it works. If it doesn't work, try Leawo video converter(for windows or mac) and convert m4v to mp4 format. -

In you case, the only way is to use data recovery app to get back your lost photos, so the chance is uncertain. It depends on how smart the app it's. The good news is that most of the apps allow you to try them out. You can test them out by yourself. The steps are:
Install data recovery app on your computer
connect your iPhone and allow the app scan iphone
display scanning result
choose local folder to store recovered items

Hello guys! How do I get my photo back after I restored my iphone5??? Ihave never did any backup or logged in iCloud before. Is it possible for me to get them back?? I use " find my iphone" and accidentally locked my iphone then I have to restore it to unlock it. When what is clicked?
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:

You should regularly copy photos from iPhone to computer and delete them from the Camera Roll on the iPhone.

I backed up everything to icloud, wiped my phone, synced to that backup, and only some of my photos are there. How do I get those photos back?
I went to apple store and they walked me through this except for the syncing part. I went to sync everything at home and a lot of my photos aren't there. When I scroll all the way down, its just a loading spiral thing.
Also, now I have new stuff, that I don't want to get deleted.
Is there some way to put my icloud pictures on my computer as well?If the restore process is done, or seems to have stalled, and it didnt' restore your camera roll photos, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. If it's still restoring, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and tap Stop Restoring at the bottom. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts.
Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. You might want to move it closer to your wifi router for the strongest signal possible.
