Using App Store when downloading app I enter password and get unknown error
i get no code, just unknown error when I put in my Apple ID password When downloading game in the App Store. Double checked password online on apple account, password entered is correct. What can I do to resolve this problem?
What you are telling me is contradictory information. So you will have to start over and give us proper details. One can not download Leopard for example. Or even Snow Leopard.
Can you also give me a screen shot showing me this exact error message on your system?

When downloading iTunes 11.0.3 I get an error 'Error writing to file C:\Config.Msi\1c6fd5.rbf. Verify that you have access to this directory' what do I do?

I upgraded to iOS 7 to my ipad using iTunes. When signing with the Apple ID I get an error reading "There was a problem connecting to the server" anyone who knows what to do next
Sounds more like you have a problem with your apple id. For starters go to that page click manage my apple id and singn in. If you can't sign in reset password.

if you can sign in there, try to sign in to itunes on your computer. -

Try this.
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again. -

Thanks for you suggestion roaminggnome. I tried typing in 13019 like you said and it gave me a few options to try and fix it but none of them worked (of course). I fiddled around with it for a while some more on my own and some how got it to work again, lol. Thanks again though for offering a solution.

it wont let me log in on my phone but it works on my computer
Changing the password works for some people but not all. This is reportedly a problem with the iTunes Store that they are aware of and working on.

Downloading tv show and getting unknown error -50
New to this and my first download of Battlestar Galactaca season 1 was going fine when I went to bed last night. I'm down to the last 2 episodes and one of them refuses to load. Any advice?

MattA quick thing I forgot to mention: when trying to sync those few gigs of music to my iPhone, only a couple songs are actually playable (mostly the first song of an album). The rest are greyed out. As in, it shows that they're there, but they're not playable. In iTunes a little grey cicle appears next to them.

I have already contacted Kobo who told me to uninstall the ADE 4.0 and install the ADE 3.0. I've done this, and nothing. I've erased the authorization for the kobo that was still there, and authorized it again. Everything is authorized. I've even tried borrowing a second book and downloading. These books are showing in my ADE as being in the kobo. On my kobo ereader device, the icons for the book are black.
The Kobo and the ADE are authorized to the same Adobe ID. I have double checked everything.

Downloading a binary via IE and getting the "corrupt or invalid" message

I'm trying to resolve the issue when downloading a binary via IE and getting the "corrupt or invalid" message.
I've tried using the /tr switch instead of /t, however I still get the same problem.
I'm using the signtool.exe from SDK 8.1 and IE version 10.0.9200.17028
I've tried using the following time stamp server but it did not responded:
http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll
so I've used this one instead:
http://timestamp.globalsign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll
but even though I still get the "corrupt or invalid" message.

the iPad is totally new to me. I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID. As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error. It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. Cancel or Retry. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also love to know how to get rid of the old owner's name, which was Mike - I'm AnnWow, I found a solution in another thread:

Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.

Trying to install Mavericks from the App store on my 2011 11" Macbook air, (wihch has more than 15GB free space). After clicking 'Install App', and entering the Apple ID password, I get 'unkonwn error'.
You can't use Safari to download iPad apps. Only use iTunes/App Store.
