Using audio from a WebSite in a connect session.

I am using VoIP to present Websites that have voice recordings (and other audio) embedded in them. Is there a way to enable Connect 7 to present VoIP and the audio in Web sites? In my attempts participants can hear me but not the audio in Web sites. Help would be appreciated. Thanks ...

Adding to this: could it be that because the audio-from-a-clip comes from a different location (in fact an external disk where the movie project is) while the rest of the voice-over music tracks come from my iTunes?

How do I import audio from a website to Garage Band?

Brand new to Garage Band (on the Mac, not iPad). I am trying to import audio from a website with an .mp3 extension to Garage Band. I'd like to extract just a piece of the audio, so I assume GB was the best way to do it.
How do I import the audio to GB? If GB is not the best way to do it, any other suggestions? I need the piece of audio for a presentation I'm giving.

Do you have the audio as an mp3 file already? Then just drag it into GB's timeline. If you have to capture it first, there's several browser plugins that do it or general programs like Audio Hijack or WireTap.

Where did the "record audio from speakerphone" option go in Connect 8??

When I went to start a recording today in Connect 8, I noticed that the "record audio from speakerphone" option is missing on the pop-up where you enter your recording name and description. Where did this option go? This is how we record all of our meetings where we do not have integrated audio (usually due to using an operator assisted line.) I did double-check my flash settings and made sure the meeting had access to the microphone.

Connect 8 records all audio from the Phone if that was used, or VOIP or via Universal Voice. It picks up all audio in the meeting.
If you have associated a universal voice audio profile with the meeting, choose Audio > Join Audio Conference.
Choose Meeting > Record Meeting.
In the Record Meeting dialog box, enter a name and summary for the meeting recording.
A recording icon (red circle) appears in the menu bar to indicate that the meeting is being recorded.

Using audio from 2 angles simultaneously in multicam

Hi,
I have recorded panel discussion on 3 cameras with 3 radio mics. The audio has been recorded to two of the cameras (One mic on one camera and 1 on each track of the other camera). I want to use the audio from both cameras throughout the entire discussion.
At the moment I can only pick audio from one of the angles. Any ideas on how to select two?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Use audio from clip in other parts of sequence

I inserted some photos in my sequence but I do not have any audio playing while the pictures are rolling. I would like to use some of the audio portions of my other clips to put "below" the still pictures.
How do I do this?

There are three ways that I can think of at the moment to do this:
1. Unpatch your video tracks so that the v1 button is not adjoined to the V1, then drag a clip from the viewer to the overwrite/insert selection on the canvas.
2. Lock your video tracks (by hitting the lock button on the left), then drag a clip from the viewer to the canvas or timeline.
3. Select just the audio from another clip already in the timeline by holding down Option and clicking it, then copy and paste it somewhere else.

NO audio from laptop speaker when phone connected to Bluetooth with media audio checked

Hey guys, when I connect my Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII (SGS3) phone through my Toshiba Qosmio x875-Q7280 Windows 7 X64 Bluetooth with media audio checked on my SGS3; for what ever reason there is no audio playing through the speaker when I try to listen to my music and for what ever reason I notice in the recoding tab under Sound my SGS3 profile mic audio bar was moving up and down. When I went in to configure it, I click a check box which played the music that I was playing through the laptop speaker but it sounded all muffled. If anyone can help would very much appreciate it.

Just wanted to update just incase someone else is have this same problem also, so I manage to solve this on my own my installing a bluetooth driver from Intel. I'm not sure if link posting is allow, so I'll just direct you there. If you google Intel and navigate to their download center, search for Intel® PROSet/Wireless Bluetooth Software for Windows 7* it should have two choice 32 bit and 64 bit. After it finish installing there should be another bluetooth icon in your bottom right tray. Next right click the bluetooth icon and add a new device as you would any other and enable media audio from your connected device (in this case it would be my Samsung Galaxy S 3) and you should be good to go with music or what ever sound coming out through the laptop speaker.

I am not able to play any audio from any website that I open in Firefox For example. if I play a song from Youtube in firefox, I cant hear the audio, where as the same song can be played in Chrome/IE.

I am not able to play any audio in firefox. For ex, If I open a song from youtube, I am not able to listen to audio but same link in Chrome/IE works fine. Firefox '''used to be fine''' in my pc until someday '''it suddenly started behaving weird''' with no sound from any of websites, Facebook videos or any cnn videos etc. Its not the problem with hardware in my system. Its just in Firefox, I am unable to troubleshoot or fix it. Please help

Avchd using audio from other clips

I just reloaded a project from a client to do some adjustments. all files are AVCHD put in 3 different folders. "Media/Footage/Card1/Private (Card2/Private)... you get it.
Suddenly my audio both in timeline and reference monitor switched source to other clips. I've tried to restart, I tried to use prelude to ingest using prores conversion. if I play it from quicktime everything works fine. this is only a problem with some clip not all. I didn't rename in the folder structure only in the project bins.
Does anybody know if this is a general problem for CC 2014. I never had this problem with CC version.
Let me know if anybody struggles with the same issues.

Hi Morten,
When you had initially put the project together, did you Import the AVCHD clips with "File > Import" or Media Browser? The latter is preferred and alleviates a lot of discomfort later on. Can't guarantee this is the solution, but doesn't hurt.

Using info from another website

I am very weak with my script knowledge ( i do have basic knowledge on Flash), so please excuse me if I'm posting my question in the wrong section.
Basically, I'll like to work on a project to showcase my DVD collection (it's for practice). I'll like to have DVD covers which, when click on, shows information such as "Director" "actors" "movie length", etc. And it will be too much for me to key in the data manually. So, i'll like the script to grab such info from http://www.imdb.com by itself. It will save me lots of updating efforts when i add new titles onto the site.
Has this been done before? What should I look into? XML, CSS, Actionscript?
Please guide me on where and what i should learn.

IMDB doesn't appear to offer a web service that you can call for this type of thing, which leaves you with a couple of options.
1. You can find a free web service that does this by searching the internet for "movie information web service" or some such.
2. You can grab the URL of a search page for IMDB, load it in actionscript as text, and parse the HTML to find what you want.
A quick google found this:
http://www.codeplex.com/imdb - some .NET classes for searching IMDB (it appears as though you would have to create your own web service from the classes and then use it in Flash - probably not what you are looking for)
http://www.trynt.com/trynt-movie-imdb-api/ - a web service for IMDB searches - appears very limited in scope of information returned
I am sure you will be able to find something with a bit more searching

Use audio from iMovie for menu in iDVD

I would like to use 30 seconds of audio out of a 30 min. video for use in a menu in iDVD.
I seem to have to detach audio, but that lets me only use it within iMovie;
Export audio seems to export the whole movie.
Is there an elegant way to extract these 30 seconds outside iMovie?

• 'trim' that Project to the wanted 30secs
• Share/Export using Quicktime - there's a drop-down menu, allowing to choose 'aiff'
• drag created audio file into your iDVD Project's info window of the menu

Using audio from the Program I am recording

I am trying to demo a program with Captivate.
The program has audio in it, and I need to be able to record that.
I was trying to record it in real time, but it doesn't seem ti record the internal audio.
How would I set it up to record that?

Recorded Meeting plays audio from connect url but offline does not

Hello,
I recorded my meeting using audio from telephone conference (which is a nice new feature for 7.5 if not using one of the supported phone conferencing systems). When I play the recording from the adobe connect site URL (or choose edit) the audio plays. When I do a "make offline" it creates the presentation only with no audio. Is this a limitation that I did not read about or am I doing something wrong?

Droid Razr Bug. Won't play streaming audio from websites.

My Droid Razr won't play streamed audio from a website and won't play .wav files attached to e-mails. That's annoying.
Motorola tech support said problem will be fixed upon next upgrade of Android OS.
My phone is currently running Android OS 2.3.5.
Does anyone now of a quicker fix?
Does anyone know when an OS upgrade will be available for the Droid Razr?

i got the same issue on my ipod. i figured the whole idea of converting the format would solve the issue. never really found out how to solve it. i'll be watching this post to see if anyone has a solve for this issue.

Unable to get audio on some websites have HP Pavilion dv7 laptop

I cannot get sound when streaming videos on a few websites but other websites is fine. I ran window update driver option in device manager for my video card and it said it was up to date. But I have not went to manufacturers site for video card update. IT is not the website because on my tablet and desktop I can get the sound fine when streaming on this same website
