Using Authorware 7.0 Trial Version

OK, I'm just a beginning user of Authorware and would like to be able to explore all the wonderful tools this program has to offer. When I open up my "Help" feature, I see these instructions on how to access some tutorials.
You can open the Show Me folder in the Authorware program folder on the Authorware CD and double-click on a Show Me A7P file to open it in Authorware.
You can go to the Authorware support site at www.macomedia.com/support/authorware/, where new Show Me examples are continually added.
When I double click on the files, nothing happens. Are these files only included in the CD version of Authorware and not the free download version?
I really need help learning to set up frames to get my program running smoothly.

They are on your hard drive
C:\program files\Macromedia\Authorware\showme
Authorware has not been updated since 2003 and won't be again because
adobe has ceased development on it. If you have a choice, you might be
better spending your time learning another tool

If you have not installed QTP/UFT before on your system then you will get trial version. Otherwise you need to format your system or try to configure virtual machine on system.

Font size when using HOMESITE 5.5 trial version

Used homesite 4.0 for many years but now with a new computer with vista, I'm using the trial homesite 5.5. The trial version when using the Browse mode displays the font size larger than what was displayed in homesite 4.0 but the size is normal when using the "view in external browser". Is this normal with the free trial version and will be okay when I download the full Homesite 5.5 version? Or maybe, there is some setting I have done causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't think there's any setting inside HS that can cause this. With HS closed open IE (7 or 8) open the menu bar (Tools > Toolbars > Menu Bar) and from the menu bar (View) check that the Text Size and Zoom settings are both Medium and 100% respectivley, then open HS and see if the problem is still there.
I'm not using Vista so if it's specific to that platform I doubt I'll be able to give any more help.

Puppet Warp, Transform>Perspective, Transform>Warp etc. can work without GPU acceleration (Test by CS6).
But it is necessary to unlock the background layer (double click in the layer panel converts the background
layer into an unlocked Layer0).

What program to use to open a trial version of Elements 11

I am being asked 'How do you want to open this file'? when I tried to open the trial version of Elements 11 for the first time. Options included 'Look for an App'; Adobe Reader; Internet explorer; Notepad; Paint; Windows Media Player; Windows Photoviewer; Word or Wordpad? Which is the best option please? Thanks

Not sure what you are saying. The actual program is a 7z file which can be opened with any packer program these days like the original 7zip of course but also WinZip and others. If you're referriung to the download assistant, then that is a normal executable, but it requires Flash Player and Adobe AIR to be installed properly on the system.

Endless downloading when ever trying use any functions in trial version

Trying to just edit an image and it keeps dumping me to trying to make a movie of images .. don't want to make a movie, just want to try and maybe stitch some images, maybe change some details in the image .. but nope, keeps asking me to download functions within the program. Been using image editors for years, and by far, this one takes the cake ... can you say uninstall?

Promblems installing the CS5.5 design standard after having used the 30day trial version of Indesing

I have downloaded & used the 30 day trial version of Indesign, and subsequently, I've bought the CS5.5 design standard.
The trial version installed in my computer asks for the serial no. to continue using of the product.
When I type the serial no. from my CS5.5 design standard package, I get a yellow triangle saying the serial no. is not valid for the product.
What should I do to fix this?
Must I uninstall the trial version and then install the CS5.5 design standard cd's? Is there a way to avoid this?

Is it possible to save when I use the trial version of Flash Professional CS5?

I downloaded the trial version so I could work on the final project for class but for some reason when I tried to save it my computer froze up. Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.

The trial versions have no restrictions on use and you can save what you create, so it was most likely your computer. Make sure your machine meets meets the minimum requirements.
The harddrive memory is not wasted, it is recoverable when you uninstall. If you are talking about RAM, it is only used when you run the program. The time you say you wasted downloading shouldn't have been necessary... downloading happens without the need for your participation, so you could have let that run by itself while doing something else.

Cannot completely uninstalled trial version of Adobe Acrobat Professional 9

Hi,
I've downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 as a 30-day trial. When 15 days or so have passed, I've decided to discontinue my use and uninstalled the trial version via Control Panel - Programs and Features. However the program refuses to go away. When I install Acrobat Reader 9 it tells me that I already have Adobe Acrobat Pro and should decide to choose one as the default PDF file-handler. Now once in a while when I open a PDF file the Pro trial window would pop-up and ask me to enter a key or choose the trial version. When I choose the trial version it then says that an error has occurred when loading the trial information, or something like that.
I've looked for the Pro folder/files throughout my computer and found nothing. I've tried Microsoft's Windows Install Clean Up utility and removed Pro from the program list there, however that did not change anything. I still get the trial pop-up and the error message that follows (see attachments).
Any thoughts?

If the executable is removed, then it is not possible to run it anymore. Therefore the uninstall did not really remove everything.
Can you check if there is anything left in Program Files\Common Files\Adobe?
If you really cannot find what's running, try Process Monitor from Sysinternals to see what's running when you open a PDF file.

Is the purchased version of Lightroom 4 the same as the free trial version?

When I watch the tutorial videos about LR4 they show things I can't find on my trial version. I'm wondering if there's a difference or if I just don't know how to use it correctly.

The trial version is a full version with all features enabled. There is no difference to the purchased version.
In fact, as Jeff Schewe said, when you decide to buy after having downloaded the trial version, you just enter the serial # (e-mailed to you from Adobe after purchase) into the trial version for indefinite use as a full version.
If you don't find things in Lr just ask. This forum is the right place for questions. And don't be afraid to ask "dumb" questions.

I am using up to now Windows XP Home Edition. After some problems during installation I have read again the "recommendations" for using the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12. Furthermore I searched here in SDN for solutions which might be available regarding the problem I have.
The important fact is that this software is released only for the following operating systems:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2) or Windows Server 2003.
(having a NTFS file structure etc.)
No other release is done (taking into account Windows Vista).
I have done an update to Microsoft Professional Edition but I have still some installation problems.

Up to now I have no idea why after installation of Windows XP Professional I have still the same problem.

But I have the feeling that my Windows XP Professional Installation was not correct (because there are some other problems around too)
So my recommendation to the description for downloading would be to highlight more this important recommendation of use of the ABAP trial version

Why can't I export my video to youtube in HD from the trial version?

I am using final cut x trial version and all the video that I shot was in HD and when I go to export it to youtube it doesnt give me an option of 1080p I can only export in 540p. I need to have the video uploaded in high definition I am using it to apply for jobs. Can anyone help me?

Cold Fusion/Flex Application Wizard crippled in Trial Version?

I am using the 60 Day trial version of Flex Builder
3/Eclipse.
I wanted to try out the much vaunted Cold Fusion/Flex
Application Wizard, mainly because I could not get my head around
access from Flex to an existing CFC from the documentation alone.
So, I followed the directions:
Click the plus sign (+).
In the Name: text box, enter the name for the page.
Select the page type (master, detail, or master/detail).
Click Edit Master Form or Edit Detail Form, depending on the
type of form you are creating.
The Visual Query Builder starts.
But for me, when I click on 'Edit Master Form' the Visual
Query Builder does not start.
Now I have checked and confirmed that my RDS is working, and
that I can access the database via RDS in the Eclipse RDS browser
window. The RDS concerned is on another PC.
The PC on which Flex Builder is installed is a Vista
Ultimate/32 and the database is MS SQl server 2005 (running on the
other PC). Cold Fusion 8 is installed on both PC's.
So, my question is 'Is the CF/Flex Application wizard
deliberately hobbled/crippled in Flex 3 Trial version, or is there
something wrong with my installation.?
If this works for everyone else, then how do I debug my
installation ?

in addition, I can say that I installed the same flex builder
trial on an XP machine, using its own local RDS, and found that the
wizard worked just fine.
So what is the variable here, why is the wizard not working
on the vista PC ?
Is it Vista ?
Is it the fact that I'm trying to use RDS against a remote
server and not the local one ?
