Using BB curve 9320 in France

Hello,
I'm new to using BB so first apologies for such a silly question perhaps.
Just got it delivered, and I'm intrigued by the sticker on the side that says  "when operated in France, this equipment uses non harmonized frequency bands".
I'm French and going home quite often, could someone tell me if yes or no my phone will work In France ? I don;t seem to find a straightforward answer online,
Thanks very much for your time & advice, I've only got 5 days to send it back if unsuitable.

Hey sir, please help me -i am using BB curve 9320 with OS 7.1 ,problem is when I open more than one tab in BB brower than after sometime I will suddenly show "The Browser Closed Unexpectedly.Do you want to reopen the pages you had open?
    Yes
    NO"
But when I click yes than it reopen but not all Tab and sometime suddenly close all Tab.Plz help me

open your browser > menu key > options and clear the cache and history on the browser.
then, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
now, see if that error persists.

    Hey shivamr25,
    Thanks for the reply.
After checking your PIN number, it shows you do not have a BlackBerry® data plan with your network service provider.  This is required to use Google® Talk.  Contact your network service provider to add a plan.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

  • "Battery too low for radio use" - Curve 9320

Since early on my curve 9320 has given me a "battery too low for radio use" warning at very random moments often times when the battery is still halfway into the white area. Sometimes this can be reset manually in the setting by turning radio back on, however this does cut into calls, messages and other activities.
I have changed the battery recently thinking this was the cause of the issue, however this did not help. I am still getting the error...not to mention the short battery life of this device...this is very frustrating.
Is this a common problem and if so how is it solved? Any help is appreciated!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

    Hello Sushu
    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
If you want to access most BlackBerry Application over your Mobile Network then a  normal 3G data plan will not allow us, for that you have to activate BIS / BlackBerry Data Plan from our Carrier . However currently many application may work over a WiFi network .
So if you want to use those applications over your Carrier Network then call Vodafone and activate BIS  on your account.

    Regards,

It is not possible to use the .dbk file to transfer your contacts to your BlackBerry. Are your contacts saved in any other place other than that file?

  • Curve 9320 issue (hang problem)

Hello, i have purchased curve 9320 3G 1 month back but i couldn't use this more than 1 day, i use to freeze frequently, after inserting sim, it was running fine for 10-12 Hrs, after than when i received incoming call, it showed me the number and contact on screen but i could not received that, all the key got freeze that time and i had to hard boot that device by fetching the battery out, i also went to BB service center 2 times but they said its a normal antivirus problem, i m surprised how could a virus may get in to device as neither connected it to internet, BBM services nor to any PC through data cable.

    Hello csamit2004
    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
Whenever you feel any problem always the first and best practice is to perform a Battery Pull Restart by removing the Battery while your Smartphone is Powered On , then wait for atleast a min. and reinsert it back .your device may take a long reboot . Rebooting in this manner fixes most issues within our BlackBerry Device , you won't loose any data while doing so .
Also be sure that you're closing all application correctly , If we press and hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will pop up a screen which will show all running programs in the background ,generally five will always there ( Home, BBM, Message,Phone , Browser ) you can always look if any other apps. are running in the background. Always try to Close Applications Correctly - Avoid using the End key to close applications as this simply minimizes the application and leaves it running in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select the Close or Exit option to exit the application.Don't leave your Browser open on any active webpage when not in use.
If programs run in the background it may lead to device freezing and also quick battery drainage. Please have a look at this Article I am sure it will help you a lot in overcoming your problems :

  • BB curve 9320/15

Why are blackberry curves 9320's heats up so easily when its on 3G or when its on 2G?

High data transfer causes high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage, which in turn causes heat.
Perhaps heavy usage, heavy data download, watching a video...

    Hello
i'm new user of BB curve 9320 in 7.1. It's impossible for me to configure mail acount to this phone.
So when i try to configure this, the phone ask me an activation password.
    What is this password?
I try to connect this phone to my exchange serveur mailbox with MAPI protocol
    Thanks for your help
    Best regard

    Hello,
From what you describe, you are on BES...as such, your BES admin (your work, your BES email service provider, etc.) would give you the required password.
If you are not on BES, and the only option you are seeing is Enterprise, then you need to talk to your mobile service provider and subscribe to a service plan to enable personal/internet email accounts on your dervice.
    Good luck!
