Using Belkin Wireless and AX simultaneously?

Greetings
I've just connected up a new AX unit and found it painless to connect to the stereo using AirTunes. Brilliant so far.
Now I'm not even sure if whether it is possible but I want to be able to do the following:
1. Receive Internet from Belkin wireless unit (G-router, F5D7230-4 with ADSL broadband)
and simultaneously
2. Use AX to play music using iTunes.
Is it possible to do this? If so, how do I go about changing settings. I've had a look in the discussion forum but can't see a reference to a question like this.
A friend who uses Linux says it's probably possible to use ifconfig in terminal, but he doesn't know how.
Any help welcome.

It is better to have the TC as part of the main network in bridge. You do not need to run wireless.
If you want to use the TC plugged in by ethernet and still use wireless for internet, that is possible but the setup is rather more complicated.. the computer must not get confused about which device to use as a gateway or dns server.

I need to add.. a USB drive would be cheaper, faster and more reliable. It is really poor use of a TC.

When use scan mode and FPGA simultaneously, why does the FIFO Read can not be used?

Hello, I am using compactRIO-9025 to do a project and trying to use scan mode and FPGA simultaneously ( Hybrid mode). I have already build a project as the following tutorial.

In the FPGA Target of the project, I add a FIFO and tried to use it to log in data from NI 9871. I wired the module I/O node to FIFO Write in the target vi. However, when I droped the invoke method to the block diagram of the host vi and right clicked it, there is no FIFO Read can be choose. Could you please help me to solve this problem?

I am not aware that using the Scan Engine is blocking any access to a transfer FIFO. But please reread this from your quoted KB:
Secondly, the number of DMA FIFO's that can be used in the FPGA code will be reduced, since the scan engine uses two DMA FIFO's. Most FPGAs have 3 DMA FIFO's, so there will only be one DMA channel left to use in the FPGA code.
This means, you have only a single DMA FIFO left which is either Target to Host or Host to Target.
Make sure that you configured the FIFO to be the correct direction for your needs...

My ipad has been disabled, and says to plug it into itunes, i never synced it to itunes just used it wireless, and now i dont know how to get into it becuase i forgot my password

So, i put a password on my ipad, and i forgot it. I looked online of all the things to do, and ive tried, them, but i haven't synced my ipad to a computer... just used it wireless. So when, i try to plug it into itunes, it says it cant open it becuase, there is a password on the ipad, which i thought once i put it into itunes it would say to restore it. i need help badly!

If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

Is there a way to use both wireless and ethernet without having to unplug the ethernet

I have 7280 all in one, 2 wireless laptops and 2 wired desk tops. At present I have to unplug the ethernet cable any time I want to use the wireless. Is there a way to set up the printer so it will recognize both. any help will be greatly appreciated

No.
Connecting the Ethernet will disable the wireless by design.
Each of these connection methods look like two different devices to the network (with different MAC addresses and potentially different IP addresses). Since there is just one printer, having what looks like two different devices on the network at once would lead to mass confusion for devices trying to access the printer.

Wireless and Airport simultaneously...

I suspect this has been asked but I could not find it on the FAQ.
I have an iMac which is currently direct connected to the cable modem via ethernet. I want to set up airport so my laptop (PC running XP - a whole other issue but anyway) can join and share connection while I am at home.
I tried to connect the airport to ethernet then connect iMac directly via the 2nd ethernet port on the back of the airport. basically I wanted direct connect speed on my imac but wifi available for my laptop. I got mixed results.
If I unplugged the ethernet from the imac I was able to connect via airport - no issues.
If I was connected to ethernet AND on airport network I got nothing, from either. I did not even get an IP address when I went to sys prefs/network.
If I was connected to both then turned off airport (sort of using aiport as a router of sorts) I got nothing.
Question 1 - can you direct connect imac out of the back of the airport ufo unit?
Question 2 - if so how.

Jw welcome, here are a couple of things to bear in mind.
Most Internet Service Providers will furnish you with a MODEM. This will allow you to direct connect using an ethernet cable.
Your computer (the mac) will have either an Aiport or Airport Extreme Card in it that will allow you to connect to any wireless connection.
You will need to run an ethernet cable from your modem to the circle of dots on and Airport Extreme BASE then connect your PC to the ethernet port on the back the one with the 2 arrows pointing away from one another. this will allow you to connect with both computers.
You mention a router of sorts. You will need a WIRELESS ROUTER before you can connect both one wireless and the other using ethernet. Some ISP's offer a MODEM ROUTER that is an additional cost that will enable you to do this , (A little pricy for my taste). Most want $150.00 or more for there Modem Router. You can simply buy a router from around $35.00 up to over $300.00 that will do the trick.
So You need to run an ethernet cable from your ISP's Modem to the WAN port on the wireless Router you choose to purchase, and then plug in your ethernet cable to one of the other ports and this will allow you to connect.
Be sure you read the paper work that come with the router, there are several ways to confiqure the connection.

my current network goes like this..........
cable modem to airport express.
airport express to the g5, powerbook, printer, airtunes.
everything works.
i just bought a sgi fuel that i would like to have a connection to.
so i bought a smc switcher (8505t)....
now the cable modem goes into the switcher.
g5 into the switcher.
airport express into the switcher.
sgi into the switcher.
in the network prefs, i then have to change from airport to ethernet. so i reset the modem (at comcast's direction) and choose ethernet. now the mac and sgi can talk. internet works, but not for the powerbook.
i guess my question is can airport express do both wireless and ethernet at the same time? or do i need something else?

The ISP provides one IP address. Whichever device connected to the switch gets that IP address first will be allowed to connect to the internet. None of the other devices connected to the switch will be allowed to connect to the internet.
You need a router to use the single IP address provided by the IP address and then create multiple local IP addresses. The AX is a router but the single Ethernet port prevents it from sharing any local IP addresses with Ethernet clients. If the AX did allow that (as the original 802.11b graphite AirPort base station did) it would conflict with the ISP's DHCP server and draw the ire of the ISP.

How does one use menu1, menu2 and menu3 simultaneously?

Is it possible to display/change dynamically the menu2 and menu3 item values depending on the user's menu1 selection? Or perhaps any other dynamic combination of the above?
Alternatively imagine something like the multrow menus of MSWord.
The main target of the customer is to save as much screen space as possible for displaying table/form data.
Any helping hand available?

Yes, this is possible, actually, it is already used in JHeadstart. You will only see menu 2 at pages with detail groups.
Menu1 and menu2 are added to each page using the menu1 and menu2 facets. The menu selection is also determined by the page: it passes the selectedTab as a parameter to the ADF Faces region that displays the menu. So, by modiftying the templates that render the menu: pageMenu.vm, menu1.vm and menu2.vm, you can determine which menus get displayed on which page.

Print using both wireless and USB cable

My officejet pro 8500 wireless is connected wirelessly to my LAN but my company blocks local access to printers while on VPN.
Only way I can print on local printers wirelessly is if I disconnect from VPN or if I somehow attach directly via USB. Can I just take a USB cable to the docking station and will my laptop recognize it or will it mess up the wireless setup. I like to use both options.

Yup, that is the nature of VPN.
You can run a USB to your docking station. You just have to have two instances of the printer in your list of printers - one for network and one for USB. Name them (right click > rename) something clever like ...Network and ...USB.

Possible to use Audio In and Out simultaneously?

Is there any additional adaptor/gadget that I can purchase so that both the Audio In and Out features of the audio jack can be simultaneously?
For example, so that Audio In can be used to record an external source input while the Audio Out is piped to a headphone to monitor the recording?

Can a condition be used for SBR and SCS simultaneously?

I have a requirement to charge a tenant a flat rate condition type against a settlement unit, and to include that same charge as part of the minimum (sales based rent).
The SAP configuration allows you to set the attribute of a condition to either 1001 (Minimum SBR) or 0002 (Fixed SCS) but not both simultaneously.
I need to raise one condition on the contract and include it in both SBR and SCS.
Is this possible?

Config 2 Conditions
1. A with 1001
2. B with 1002 Name it similar to A with suffix SCS or similar to diff.
On Contract create 2 Conditions, Condition A linked to Sales and Condition B linked to SCS. Choose Formula on SCS Condition B = % Share in Source Condition. Assign the Object which is same on Condition A and % share = 100% and choose the source Condition as = A. This will refer Condition B to A. Any changes on (Sales) A will automatically reflect on B. Of course the other parameters on A and B will be specific to respective Conditions and you have to be careful. You can put some restriction with validations too.
Background you can have your accounting for corresponding Condition types.

USB adapter for Apple Earphones that will let you use both audio and mic simultaneously for a phone conversation?

I like the Apple Earphones (the iPhone headphone with audio, mic and remote) but I hate to keep plugging it on and off my Macbook Air. So I heard the only way to fix that is to buy a USB headphone so you can switch it on and off through software. Problem is that I like my Apple Earphones and I want to keep using it but now through USB. Is there a USB adaptor that will work with the Earphone, in other words, that will make both headphone and mic work at the same time for a phone conversation?

Use of devicenet and CAN simultaneously

I am using Labview with a PCI-6527 DAQ card and PCI-CAN/2 card. I need to control a motor using devicenet and send CAN messages to another device.
Using NI-DNET, will give me only one port and make the other redundant. What options are there?
Do I have to buy two interface cards? and then would NI-CAN and NI_DNET give me conflicts?
I could use NI-CAN to access the DeviceNet network, but how difficult is that?

The problem is not the hardware. The two drivers cannot be installed together. You can only have NI-CAN or NI-DNET, not both.
At the moment there is no easy workaround. You mention using NI-CAN to implement DNET. This is possible, but you need the DNET specification to interpret the frames according to the DNET spec.

During setup of new Apple TV I am not able to progress past the screen that asks if I want to share usage info with Apple. Using both wireless and hardwire setup I've answered no - then yes - but I cannot get the system to accept an answer. Anyone else?

Aside from not being able to progress past the question of sharing info with Apple - I've also noticed that the remote does not function when I presss the "select" button - only when I press the "menu" button can I acknowledge a question or a step in the setup proccess. Help!

Can you print using both USB and Wireless on HP M175nw?

I am having a problem with my new LaserJet 100 colorMFP M175nw. When I initially set it up with Setup wizard, I selected the "USB" option, since that was how my old printer was hooked up to the computer. That worked fine and the printer works perfectly with my desktop. Now I can't figure out how to also set up the printer to be used wirelessly. I specifically bought this printer because I wanted to be able to Airprint from an ipad. I've tried several of the fixes listed on this website, but I'm not able to get a list of wireless networks to appear on the printer's menu. I am using a Linksys wireless G router, which is hardwired to my desktop, but which I use to wirelessly access the internet with my laptop and ipad.
What is the best way to be able to use the printer with my both my desktop (non-wireless), laptop, and ipad (both wireless)? Can I leave the printer hardwired to my desktop with a USB AND connect the other devices wirelessly? If so, what is the best way for me to connect the printer to my router - wirelessly or wired? What steps do I need to take to do that and get the printer connected?

Before Christmas 2011, I ran few tests and I've posted elsewhere on this forum. My printer is a different model but I believe same technology. My tests indicated we can connect printer using BOTH wireless and USB. Printer will show busy/not available during direct print (ie USB) but it knows job(s) is/are on the queue and print after that.
One thing I could not test successfully: scan and print at the same time.
