Using Bluetooth with Palm 700

I will be upgrading my cell phone to the Palm 700 today. I am really anxious to
be using the Bluetooth with my MacBook Pro. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some insight as to having any problems????
Thanks

you will need the missing sync from markspace regardless whether 700p, 700w, 700wx.
I have the 700p and its bluetooth syncing is flawless... sometimes a little slow on Program syncing and installing, but wonderful for syncing your address book, iCal, tasks, etc.
The Missing Sync is definitely worth your $30 for it.

    Hi,
I have a KT3 Ultra ARU too, and I understand that if you use the onboard Bluetooth connection you must not use the USB connection under the blue sticker at the same time.
I think it's because the onboard Bluetooth connection and the USB connection under the sticker use the same adress (IRQ). So as long as you have no Bluetooth, like me, you can use the 4 USB connections. If you use Bluetooth connection on board, do not use the USB connection under the sticker (the left one seen from backside of your PC).
If you use an external Bluetooth it's not a problem with your 4 USB connections.

  • Not able to use Bluetooth with Mitsubishi Outlander (2014)

I have a new iPhone 6 with iOS ver: 8.1.3 and I am able to pair the phone with the car (Bluetooth) system, Bluetooth says it's connected, but I am unable to make/receive calls using Bluetooth. On the phone it shows that it is connected via Bluetooth, but it is not as the call is being carried out via the actual headset not the Bluetooth.  Every other phone works without any issues so I know this is not a car problem as I've tested several devices,  iPhone is the only device that is not  able to maintain proper Bluetooth connection. I've googled this and apparently this is widespread issue, so the question is, when will Apple issue a proper fix for this.
I've tried resetting network settings as well as deleting bluetooth devices and doing a new pairing procedure but no luck.
Please provide some feedback when this can be resolved, hopefully with the new software release cause I've never been so upset like I am right now after spending that much money on the phone that doesn't work properly.

    Hey there Andriy,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’ve done quite a bit of troubleshooting in an attempt to resolve the issue making and receiving calls with your iPhone 6 that is connected to your car stereo with Bluetooth. If you haven’t already, try the general troubleshooting suggestions in the article linked below.

  • Can't use bluetooth with toolkit on Macintosh

I wonder if any one else has had trouble using bluetooth to communicate with NXT. I don't have any trouble with Mindstorms and bluetooth but the new nxt toolkit doesn't find the NXT. A connection with USB works fine. I'm using Labview 8 student edition. Thanks for your help.

Sorry to confuse the issue by bringing Intel-based Macs into the discussion. They have their own set of issues with Bluetooth, but we can set them aside for now.
    Here is the problem:
When we were writing the code for the Bluetooth driver, it became necessary to change code in the LabVIEW executable in order for the driver to work on Macs (PPC or Intel). We needed to add an entry point to the application and some code to support it. We first added the code to MINDSTORMS (the software for the kids) and it worked great. Then, we started thinking about the toolkit while 8.2 was in development and so, we added the code into 8.2. Once NI releases a new version of LabVIEW we rarely (if ever) patch previous versions because even a small change takes a lot of other development (like a new installer that upgrades) and testing before it can ship.
On Windows, the interface to the Bluetooth driver (in the OS) is different and so we didn't need to use this modification to the LabVIEW executable, so all the versions work fine.
I understand your frustration. I work exclusively on Macs at work and home. Since I want to do block development from time to time, 7.1 is the version that I use most often with the toolkit. For now, we'll both have to miss Bluetooth and use USB instead.

  • HT201394 cannot use bluetooth with my new nissan altima since I updated to 8.0.2.  I am very disappointed is there a fix for this?

A Month ago I purchased a new Altima and I was able to connect with my iPhone to the car and take and answer calls.  Since the update I can no longer use my bluetooth to answer, make or hear calls on my car.
My car also uses Nissan connect.  I was able to use it just fine with the previous iphone OS versions.  My husband has the same iPhone that I have and it works perfectly on the car.  He hasn't upgraded it to 8.01 nor 8.02.  He is on version 7.1.2
I hope Apple can address this.  Or maybe there is a way to undo the updates and go back to 7.1.2 on my phone.  We both have iphones 4s 32 gb.  I will address this with Nissan as well and its syste on the altima (2014 nissan connect).
Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution.  I tried restarting the car and the phones.  I tried erasing the phone from the car and re-installing it.
Well if anyone gets a solution, please let me know.   Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this.

  • What can I do using bluetooth with my macbook pro

I paired my macbook pro with my iPhone 5s but can't do anything else. tell me it doesn't have the necessary services??

The only thing you can do with Bluetooth on a MacBook/iPhone combination is tether (i.e., hotspot / use the phone's cellular connection as a data source for internet on the MacBook)

  • Anyone actually use bluetooth with their phone?

So i have recently discovered that the less i deal with my phone directly the better my quality of life should be. I have deleted pretty much all the bs social networking apps from my phone and try my damndst to keep my eyes off of the screen. But the problem lies with my phone - the actual phone part- i get a lot of calls per day for business and well, i hate it. Good for business but bad for my anti phone phase. A buddy of mine got me off of the iOS band wagon and into the android eco system a while back and uses a blueant q2, now i would like to take his word for it and im sure i can, but im intesteed to know what the what the community uses, if any....

I've got a really basic phone that cost me £16.  No Bluetooth, no WiFi, no apps.  It's not even got a camera.  The number is ex-directory, so the only people who can phone me are the ones I give my number to.
I had similar for years and was happy with it, but I suddenly decided to get a decent smartphone just because it was there. By no means essential but it is handy now and then for info on the fly. £10 a month for a supermarket SIM that provides way more than I need is a reasonable running cost, though if I ever get close to my 5000 texts a month I'll refer myself to a shrink.

  • Using Bluetooth with Widcomm driver on PC

I know that NI states that they only support BT devices that work with Microsoft driver. I am creating a BT "Hands Free" device but the MS drivers don't support the required functionality. Is there any way to hook the LV BT functions into Widcomm driver? NI supports Widcomm for PDA so why not PC?
I would prefer not to have to develop app using MSVC but ...
    Thanks.

The LabVIEW PDA Module supports Bluetooth communication on PDA devices
running Pocket PC 2003 or Windows Mobile 5.0 with the WIDCOMM Bluetooth
DLLs version 1.4 or later or the Microsoft Bluetooth driver. If
your PDA device has the WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver, you must install the
    WIDCOMM Bluetooth DLLs.
Note: Do not install the WIDCOMM Bluetooth DLLs if you have the
Microsoft Bluetooth driver or you receive an error when you use the
    Bluetooth VIs and functions.
Complete the following steps to install the WIDCOMM Bluetooth DLLs.
    1. Connect to ActiveSync on the host computer.
    2. On the host computer, run labview\PDA\Utilities\Bluetooth\setup.exe to install the DLLs on the PDA device.
You also can right-click the PDA target in the Project Explorer window
and select Install»Support for WIDCOMM Bluetooth from the shortcut menu.
Refer to readme.txt, located in the labview\PDA\Utilities\Bluetooth
directory, for more information about manually installing the WIDCOMM
    Bluetooth DLLs.
All of the above information was copied from the LabVIEW PDA Module Help.

  • Distorted audio when using BlueTooth with Samsung i500 Vehicle Mount

The audio is severly distorded using a bluetooth headset while the phone is plugged into power using the Samsung i500 Vehicle Mounts built-in power port.  The only workaround I have found is to flip the phone around and plug power directly into the phone instead of the Samsung i500 Vehicle Mounts built-i power connection.  This issue has been reproduced using different i500 Vehicle Mounts, different USB power cords, and within differnt cars.  There doesn't seem to be anyway to get the distortion to go away except to not use the built-in power port on the mount.  Please let me know if anyone knows a fix for this issue.

Yeah, the built-in audio connector on the Vehicle Mount also doesn't work.  When I bought my mount there was a little sticker over that connector that said it wouldn't work until Verizon updates the fascinate to version 2.2.  However, nothing I saw indicated that using the built-in power connector would cause bluetooth audio distortion.  So at this time I just put my phone into the mount backwards and plug the usb power chord directily into the phone instead so that the bluetooth audio quality is ok.  When I want to get sound on my radio I just plug an audio cable from the sterio into the phone's headphone jack.  Oh and I might as well add that if I get a call while I have the audio cable plugged into the headphone jack there is no way for anyone to hear me when I answer the call.  So I have to unplug the audio cable before answering the call.  Unfortunately, I've found that when an audio cable is plugged into the headphone jack, the phone disables speakerphone and bluetooth.    Let's hope they get these issues fixed when they roll out the 2.2 software update.

I have just updated my iPod Touch to 3.0 and I heard that there is a stereo bluetooth feature. Can I somehow transfer files and media using it? (No jailbroken !!) If not, how can I use it?

There is no file transfer via bluetooth, only music streaming to a compatible bluetooth headset.
