Using BPMAuthorizationService in RemoteClient

Question

Hi,
I am trying to use BPMAuthorizationService to search for an user. The service client i am using is Remote client. I read in the following post
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28981/worklist.htm#BHACDDFJ that BPMAuthorization service is not available for remote clients. Is there any other way that i can search in remote clients.
Here is my code...
wfSvcClient =
WorkflowServiceClientFactory.getWorkflowServiceClient(WorkflowServiceClientFactory.REMOTE_CLIENT);
wfCtx =
wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService().authenticate("xxxxxx", "xxxxxxx",

BPMAuthorizationService authSvc = wfSvcClient.getAuthorizationService(wfCtx.getIdentityContext());
I am getting BPMAuthorizationService as null.
Please help.

I need to know where this xml files must be located and how to load it. Oracle tutorials are not so clear in most cases and we got lost.
authenticate is deprecated.
