Using configurator with previously free apps

I am new to apple configurator. I work in an elementary school setting and just recently purchased a mac book to help manage the growing number of school ipads. There are several apps that were downloaded while they were free but now for new purchasers they are paid. In my itunes account those apps are shown as purchased/downloaded. HOwever, when I add them to apple configurator it is asking for a VPP which of course we don't have because we downloaded the app when it was free. Is there a way around this? I really don't want to have to pay for apps we obtained legally for free. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Unfortunately... because the app is now a paid app VPP codes would need to be purchased in order to use Apple Configurator to distribute that app to your fleet of iPads.
As far as other options (depending on your deployment) you might be able to use iTunes to distribute the app. You might also be able to go to each iPad one-by-one and download the app from the App Store. Not the fastest, but might get you the results that you want.
I know this is not the answer you wanted to hear, but I hope it answers your question.

I replied to them for a waiver., and they reply with quite a similar email again, without helping.
The customer service IMO just use a template to answer question. Refer me back to the developer , which is apple itself

first of all you must have all the archivelogs since you want to recover your table from the previous backups.
anyways if you want to recover your table then you need to perform incomplete recovery to the point where you loss the table for that you need to restore and recover your database.you likely to loose all the transcation which occurs to the point where you you loose your table.

I have purchased a eos 6d. When I use it with the iPhone app the connection dies after about five m

I have a 6d and when I use it with the iPhone app the camera turns off after about five minutes and the connection is lost. So when I am photographing wild life I keep having to break cover to reactivate the connection. Is this correct or is there a way to keep the connection alive.

You just need to go into the menu and set the camera's sleep mode to "off" or "never". It sounds as if it's currently set to 5 minutes.
Letting the camera sit active continuously, i.e. preventing it from going into sleep mode, will drain the battery(ies) a lot faster. I don't have a 6D, nor do I leave them on full time (in fact I set sleep mode to a very short duration, since tapping any button on the camera quickly re-awakens it).... so I really don't know how quickly a battery will drain. But you might be prepared with spares. If battery life is too short for you purposes, you could add a battery grip which will double the battery capacity.

If you've just setup your account, you're not actually being charged. This is a hold to insure your account details are valid, & will be reversed in a day or two.

Transferring "Previously free" apps to alternate devices using the same account

Sorry for the confusing title of this discussion. Here's my question.
Free Apps are available through iTunes of course. Unfortunately, only the record of "purchased apps" can be seen on my iPad (even though my Apple ID is required to get them). Now if I get a free App, like that App and then decide to purchase that App, yes I can do so using my Apple ID. But what about those Apps that require you to purchase additional features (the base App is free, but additional features can be purchased)? I bought a specific App on my iPad for my kids and I bought an additional feature. I just bought two iPad Minis for my kids. Now I can only transfer the one App (minus the purchased additional feature) to the iPad Minis. Do I have reinstall the free App and then purchase the additional features twice? It's an important question because most of the educational Apps sell additional features.
Any suggestions? You're assistance is appreciated.

We have free App for SharePoint Online. Some our customers have problems with the installation. After install they see an issue with obtaining a license which should be free.

First, please check the suggestion above is helpful. I also suggest you removing all version of Office and re-install Office 2013.
We can try to run the application as an administrator and check if it works.
1. Right click the shortcut of the application or the main application.
2. Select properties.
3. Select compatibility tab and select "Run this program as an administrator."

My daughter ask me to download an app, a game called, THE LITTLEST PET SHOP, on the last March 2rd. It is a free one! She became very happy playing this app. But unfortunately, on Sunday, I received an email about my invoice in Itunes Store, as I always received, telling me that I have to pay USD 49,99 for an APP inside the APP ( the free one). How could be that if I put my ID apple only to download the free APP? My daughter doesn't know how to do tihis and always ask me to do this. I'm very desappointed about it. A number of free, and paid-for, apps allow you to make in-app purchases within them so as to unlock extra features and/or levels.
You can turn-off in-app purchases on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depending upon what version of iOS that you have on your device you may also have a Require Password setting on the Restrictions which you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need re-entering.
You could also try contacting iTunes support and see if you can get a refund : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption.

I received an iPad air with no free apps

My new iPad air has no free apps. How do I acquire these free apps?(iPhoto ,numbers, pages, etc)

The apps don't come preinstalled. If you don't get a notification to download the apps, go to the App Store and see if you can download them for free. You obviously have to be signed into your Apple ID in order to download the apps or in order to receive the notification.
If nothing is working for you, try signing out of your ID in Settings>iTunes and App Store. Restart the iPad, sign in again and then see if you get the free app notification.
