Using Creative Cloud After Trial
I am trying to use Adobe Creative Cloud, but since I already tried Photoshop through a trial, it wont let me use it again without a liscence...How do I get past that?
If you have already used 30 days of trial on computer then you have to purchase the license to use the software.
You can buy a full version license from http://adobe.com/downloads by clicking the buy button give with the software link.
You can also buy a yearly / monthly subscription of a software from : https://creative.adobe.com/plans

If I choose not to continue using creative cloud after the 30 day trial
I downloaded the 30 day trial of creative cloud and I'm concerned that once it's over, or I choose not to use it, will I still be able to use my CS5? What happens to the existing CS5 files once I open them in creative cloud?, etc... A little nervous about the repercussions.
Trials end after 30 days... anything else requires a paid subscription... Cloud Plans https://creative.adobe.com/plans

Hi.
I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
(I never received a serial number.)
I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?
Curonda in Milwaukee, WI.Hi.
The trial expired 2 weeks ago - Monday.
I purchased the Cloud Yesterday, also 2 weeks ago Monday 10/15/2012.
I purchased it twice thinking 1 purchase did not complete.
I still will need to request a refund for 1, I've been too busy between, work, school, and kid. I'm at work now.

Curonda,
Can you let us know the date when your trial expired and when you bought the Creative Cloud Subscription?
Thanks

If, after using Creative Cloud, I decide to purchase the software, will my work be transferred over?
Hi Stephanie,
You can definitely transfer your work as right now with a trial account you only have 2GB cloud storage space which would increase to 20GB with a license for the same.

Impossible installation of free trial using creative cloud
What is wrong with your customer service? It seems to be completely absent. A week ago I sent a message explaining the impossibility of using creative cloud to set up a trial of photoshop. I received your automatic response that my complaint had been received and that I would be contacted ASAP. It is now a week later. How long do I have to wait? Do not repeat the website's advice about how to fix the problem that Creative Cloud signs you out as soon as you sign in. The advice does not work. Would it be more honest to say that you don't want anyone to have a free trial of your products before they purchase them?
Have you tested the following solutions :
You are no longer signed into your Creative Cloud applications -
I had creative cloud installed in a parallels deskto virtual machine on my mac, I delete the virtual machine without deactivate the creative cloud. after reinstall a new VM running windows 8.1. pro 64 bits, I downloaded the creative cloud installer but it does not install ang give an Error code 72, it is assuming that I already are using the Creative cloud in 2 computer, but itis no the case, how to solve this situation?
Dave: I did the Microsoft Update two days before this happened, and rebooted as required. I just created a new restore point and lauched Creative Cloud. Now I get the famous white screen:
It just sits and spins (been 10 minutes now).
Fortunately, I saved away this command (which I've had to use 4 or 5 times already):
del %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\opm.db
Unfortunately now, I get this (even after closing the above window):
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
So I killed everything that said "Adobe" in the task manager and this time, the command succeeded.
Fortunately, the current apps seem to still work. I can't seem to find the "Creative Cloud" app in the applications on my system, but I launched Photoshop CC, told it to look for updates, and got a list of the 5 prgorams that need updates in the Adobe Application manager:
I will proceed with the updates, holding my breath. -
Receive error 21 when trying to install lightroom cc 2015 using creative cloud
On trying to install Lightroom CC 2015 using Creative Cloud I receive error 21. Any ideas what to do??
I have the exact same issue. I had a trial of Lightroom 5 installed, and whenever I then tried to install Lightroom CC (2015) it would fail at 42% with an error 21. Logging out and back in of CC desktop got it to install successfully and then Lightroom 5 was marked as "Start Trail" again.
Now though, whenever I try to start Lightroom CC (2015) it shows the start splash screen and then closes straight away and doesn't start. The "Continue Trial/Purchase License" screen then appears, and closing that out does nothing.
I've tried logging out and back in to CC desktop, and restarting, but neither option fixes the issue. I even tried logging out, restarting then logging back in again. Still no joy.
As a side note: Lightroom 5 in CC desktop doesn't show an uninstall option - it says "Uninstall Unavailable". Both Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC do allow for an uninstall option though.
I'm on Mac OSX 10.10.3 -

/martinHi All,
I also encountered the same error on my Apple Mac Book Pro running OSX Version 10.9.2 (Mavericks). First I encountered the "Error 13" where the Creative Folder was unable to complete the Installation and came up with a message "Error Starting Creative Cloud" Cookies Dir Cannot Make Folder /Cookies Permission Denied (Error 13). First I followed the below procedure :-
Completely Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud from the Applications.
Click on the Finder and Go to Folder ~/Library/Application Support
Right Click on the Folder and Click on Get Info (cmd+i) and refer to the "Sharing & Permission"
Unlock using your Password the Sharing and Permission Control.
Add the Username that you have logged in and make sure it has "Read and Write Access" Refer to "Sriharshaa Prabhakar"
Click on the "Small Settings Icon" and Select "Apply to enclosed items"
Click on Lock
Install the Adobe Creative Cloud.
I also encountered an error while logging into the Creative Cloud after successful installation. I chose the below method to resolve the issue"-
Quit the Adobe Creative Cloud from the Task Bar above.
Click on the Finder and Go To Folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Right Click on the Folder OOBE and Click Get Info.
Rename the Folder to OOBE.old
Launch the Adobe Creative Cloud
Loginto to the Adobe Creative Cloud and chose the Application that you want to Install.
Thanks for all the help and hope the procedure above helps people who are looking for step by step approach to solve this silly installation issue.

I received an email stating We’ve reset our Creative Cloud free trial versions.
We’re notifying all Adobe Creative Cloud members that we’ve reset the clock on our product trials, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. So even if you’ve previously tried these products, you can try them again to test-drive more than 20 new features.
Just launch the Creative Cloud desktop app and click “Update” next to the app you want to try.
but when I go to get the free trial again the free trial botton is grayed out and when I try the download free try thru the In Design link it says In Design is up to date. How do I get this free trial.?-Asked to sign in after paying

Receiving error updating creative cloud after firewall changes to our network.
Receiving error updating creative cloud after firewall changes to our network.
We have an end user that is trying to update through the creative cloud application. We have tried track down what is being blocked but have hit a dead end.
When the Creative Cloud Software tries to call out we are seeing a connection attempt to https://ops:443/ims/token/v1
I have researched and the only reference to IMS for Adobe I was able to locate was the IMSService. This appears to be an authentication service. The issue is that "ops" is not a valid domain.
This issue only appears to affect the Creative Cloud Software as I was able to update a test machine with Creative Cloud through the Adobe Application Manager.
The user's system and our test system are running OS X YosemiteHi There,
Can you please confirm if below links with ports combination are white listed on your firewall. Adobe creative cloud desktop app uses these ports only.

[ Mac 10.9.3 / Indesign CC update fail / Premiere update fail / Adobe Media Encoder 7.2.2 update fail ]
Adobe Media Encoder was the problem for me. There's no separate uninstaller for AME. My ID CC and Premiere couldn't be updated (for the AME7.2.2 update as the only change). MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework seemed to be the factor.
I uninstalled Premiere (only), after having manually removed MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework from inside AME. After boot I installed it again and voilà, both (ID & Premiere) updates went trough fine. The MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework was on place inside AME too. -
Cancelling Creative Cloud Free Trial
Hi all,
I downloaded the Creative Cloud free trial a while back, but the project I was using it for is done now. I was wondering: do you automatically enter into a contract for CC once the 30 day period is up? If so, could somebody please tell me how to cancel? I can't find out how to do so. I am definitely still on the free trial right now as my account is displaying "creative cloud free membership" under "plans and products." However, I am not sure how long ago I begun the trial, and if continuing it past 30 days will enter me into a contractual obligation I need to know how to cancel it. Could somebody please point me in the right direction? You will not be automatically entered into a contractual obligation. When the trial ends, you will not be able to use it further unless you pay for a subscription. As far as uninstalling goes, see the following: Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps

New path behaviour in Photoshop CS6.
In CS5.5 and earlier, touching the path between 2 points while holding the comand key resulted in moving the path without changing the angle of the tangents. CS6 changed that. Is it possible to go back to the old preferences? thanks
