Using CSM for pix-asax upgrade

Hi,
I am currently planning a PIX to ASAX upgrade.there are 3 pix's with multiple contexts and 2 pixes with no contexts. The pix's are currently running ASA code 7.0. Also, we will be building a CSM server. My question is what is the best way to migrate the configurations to the new ASAX's? Should i convert configs to 9.x commands first, then upload configs to CSM then deploy via CSM to new ASAX's? OR convert configs to 9.x upload to new ASA's first,then swap out the pix's and then discover after with CSM? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! KV

I'm thinking about using the probefacility in CSM to probe almost all servers, including normally notloadbalanced servers, because then I have the possibility to send users to a sorryserver when something is wrong. Questin: How many probes can I run against how many servers. Which IPX-CPU i used for probes? Ihave standard probes and TCL-probes.

Have used Firefox for years and upgraded to 3.6.13 from .11 but typing speed in both versions is very slow causing long delays

Windows Task Manager shows CPU usage spiking periodically from 1-2% to 100% and the PF Usage is up too.

I can comment that the only routine I had to block in the latest version, was plugin-container.exe.
It seem to isolate other plugins, but its connected to the internet and makes a backdoor that my firewall didnt understand.
the isolation must be ment to protect the browser from crashing plugins like Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime and more, but in fact I never experienced a crash in them.
Sålunda, I made a small program that blocks plugin-container.exe from starting.
The backdoor once started a heavy activity, 80% of my total cpu-power (wich is very much for a quadruple of potential cpu) and I noticed it exactly that way -typing got slower.
Who wants such backdoors?

To troubleshoot this issue where your camera is displaying a black screen, please follow the information outlined below.
You see a closed lens or black screen
If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

Have been using iPhoto for weeks and had it open just an hour ago and when I tried to open again I got a message that I had to upgrade in or to see my library??? after trying to upgrade still getting message. What the heck is going on

Cannot open iphoto library, getting a message staing I have to upgrade to see my library which I have done four times with no results. I just had iphoto opened an hour before without a problem and have been using it for weeks before today. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run Option #4 to rebuild the database
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I just installed the Lion operating system, basically to upgrade my iPhone. I didn't realize that my Microsoft Office 2004 application would no longer work. I have been using Word for my writing and I receive most of my emails with Word attachments. I have been using Apple products for years, always touting their reliability and customer service. I am not a techie, I just want to be able to do what I do on the computer and Apple always fulfilled my needs. Now I am told because of some operating system gobbledygook, I have to go out and purchase new software to use Word. This is despicable. I see no particular benefit to using Lion, but I do see a lot of detriments. Apple now seems to have turned into Microsoft, making software obsolete so they can make more money and to **** with the customer. You can be sure that my next computer will be a PC. I have completely lost confidence in Apple.

I seem to never tire of saying this. It was for Apple when they first announced 10.7 to disclose this. Yes, it was widely reported -- or rather, rumored -- but not by Apple. And many people who have gotten caught by this assumed that Apple itself would have told them beforehand about the loss of this very important feature which they had come to rely on. As far as I know, not even in fine print, does this appear anywhere on the Lion announcement or any of its links.
I am not saying Apple had to continue Rosetta in Lion, or forever, just that if it was going to be dropped, it should have been made known.
As relative "insiders" we should not forget that many people don't have the time, habit or interest to do this kind of research. I think it is a breach of trust that Apple has never directly made this announcement or given people the opportunity to decide beforehand if giving up their PPC apps for a new OS is a worthwhile tradeoff.

Unfortunately, I have a very similar problem. Since I upgraded to os 5.1 on my new iPhone 4S the reminders screen will not add new reminders or scroll up and down. What's more strange is the screen will still scroll side to side allowing access to the Completed list, and both the Completed list and Date functions work normally so this must be an upgrades glitch.

[Music files are still there, and I can play them on my computer directly from the iPod [just one track at a time] but not in the usual way, through headphones.]
On the Summary page of iTunes for the iPod, it shows 50-plus gigabytes of "Other" content and no music, which was not previously the case. I assume this is related to the problem.
I can bring up individual tracks on the iPod and see cover art, but cannot play the music.

iCloud is free, iTunes match is $25 a year.
I had the same problem and when I went to Settings I had 0 songs, even though they were obviously still there since I only had 15GB free on my 64GB device.
I decided to do a complete reset/restore of my 4th gen iPod Touch, Bad move! I've been messing with it for hours, and it simply won't restore--it keeps hanging on a black screen with an Apple logo and a progress bar at about 10%, sometimes it goes completely blank and tries again, with the same result. I'm ready to bang my head against the wall! I can put the device in recovery mode, connect to iTunes on my computer, and get it back to the setup screen, but when I go through the process again and try to do an iCloud backup I get the same reset/restore loop.
I could start from scratch, but I really, really, really don't want to go through all of my hundreds of apps, reinstall them one by one, etc. etc. etc.

Photoshop requires 512 Meg of VRAM or more to use the 3D features - that's been the same for version 14 (CC) and now 15 (CC 2014). Check Help->System Info to see how much your card says it has.

I wouldn't think so. Everyone who migrated from a MobileMe account got an extra 20GB free until 30 Sept, and the emails now being sent out presumably go to everyone regardless of any subsequent storage purchase. As you've paid for 50GB this should be unaffected (but I should keep an eye on it!). If you have any uncertainty about what is going on you should contact Suppport at http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/

One step listed in the link to "helpful" info, was (when Iooked 30 seconds ago), to search for and download the newest version of iTunes. I'm running iTunes on Win 7 machine and was prompted to update today, 10.22.2014, and did so without a problem. Having said that, however, it looks as though the latest iTunes (12.0.1.26) is finally doing what the last version refused to do, which is to actually fully populate all my playlists on my 6, but there is a hitch: 12.0.1.26 will NOT allow you to show the sidebar unless you click on "playlists," that is, you cannot keep it open all the time.
And, when plugging the 6 into the computer, the phone icon shows up but clicking on it does nada. What does work, for some strange reason, is clicking on the tiny icon (just under the "Store" menu link at top screen) which looks much like a tiny barrel, someone's idea of external drives, I suppose. The phone then comes up, with the list of stuff on the phone just under it where the sidebar used to be. Sync is now restricted to the lower right of the screen.
Apparently, you will also need to update your iPhone's software as well; some friends with the 4 and 4s, however, had troubles with them after upgrading. The message from Silicon Valley (I can see Apple from my backyard, ha ha) is apparently, "keep upgrading," folks, get rid of those old phones.

However the Photography plan (Photoshop and LR) Is $9.99 pm (or local currency) and the initial benefits for CS customers who took what was then called The Photography Program (larger cloud storage) has now ended.

[SOLVED] Use ISO for kernel upgrade?

Wondering if I can use the new ISO to upgrade my kernel, if so maybe a hint or two on how.
See, it's the wifi thing.
It's my only connection to the internet and my Atheros chipset wasn't supported by madwifi 4 weeks ago when I did my install (so I used ndiswrapper). It was however supported in development (I didn't know about madwifi-svn or anything-svn at the time). I'm hoping maybe I can use the new ISO to do the upgrade and maybe the madwifi on the ISO will also work and I can do all of this before internet withdrawals kick in. I do have Puppylinux on a usb and the wifi works with that, so if I desperately need a fix (a quick google search and... aaahhh) there is that.
If this won't work then what?
I just looked at the pacman man page and didn't see any way to download but not install a package (unless I missed it, if I did just say so, I'll look until I find it). All I can think of is find the drivers for my ethernet card (really surprised that wasn't supported out of the box) go to the library and hopefully get everything done before they close (I'm a noob, it takes me an hour to find my ass with both hands).
