Using 'Design Standard' serial number with 'Master Collection' download.

Hey, i was trying to download design standard, but couldnt find it with the download assistant.
The only thing i could see that was a 'collection' was the master collection.
So i asked someone on Adobe live chat wether i could just download master collection then input my design standard serial, and they seemed to think it would work.
When i enter the serial i get the following message:
"We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Master Collection. Please contact customer support."
not really sure what to do, will i need to downlaod design standard instead?

i think customer support missed that one.
adobe serial numbers are product specific. you can't activate a trial of one product to a full version of another product.

If you registered your software when you first installed it your serial number should be available thru your Adobe account online.

Reinstalling Photoshop With Master Collection Downloaded

Hello, I ran into an error unexpectedly that said Photoshop was missing files.I then uninstalled it and am now trying to figure out how to reinstall it.
I have a copy of the master collection and i just downloaded Photoshop again from the bridge. Do i have to use my master collection key for it to work? Or would i have to uninstall the entire master collection and download it all again?

It depends is your serial number for Master Collection? If so then you will need to install Photoshop through the Master Collection installer. You can customize your installation however so that only Photoshop installs.

Problem with serial number Adobe master collection

Well i bought the adobe master colection sc6 for school since im studying media and web design, but strangly what i got was a trail versin serialnumber that expired and i cant use my programs any more, where as i paid to get the rea deal yeat i got this
what am i to do now i dont want t owaist more money and end up getting another trail version

(Launch) Reinstall the product with the serial number to which i also did but got the same error thing back
what happened to the live chatt on their site where i spoke to one of the people from the site whom gave me that serial number.

Unable to enter serial number for Master Collection CS6 Upgrade

I recently purchased a Master Collection CS6 upgrade (from 5.5). My CS6 serial number was correctly recognised but it said it couldn't find any software eligible for the upgrade despite Master Collection CS5.5 being installed on my PC (running Windows 7 Ultimate). The screen to enter the serial number of the eligible software doesn't have Master Collection CS5.5 in the drop-down, only CS5. Using that option with my CS5.5 serial number doesn't work. I got no response to a case opened on the support site.
In order to install the CS6 software, I then installed it as a trial version. I now get reminders that I only have x days to go but there is no option to enter my serial number. I assume it thinks I've got a trial version of Creative Cloud.
Adobe Support keep closing cases raised on the spurious grounds that I haven't responded. It is they that are not responding! Anyone able to help?

if the serial number has been used, you won't be able to use that serial and that's the only thing you purchased.

CS6 Design Standard Serial Number is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found...?

I am attempting to reinstall CS6 Design Standard after a computer upgrade, however the Application Manager won't take my serial number. In particular, when I enter the serial number, I receive the following error message:
Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.
When I enter the serial number for one of the products that should be eligible for the upgrade, I receive the error message:
This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another.
I've attempted this on a couple of machines with the same result. I've also attempted to install CS6 Design Standard after installing numerous other products: CS5 Design Premium, CS5 Design Standard, CS3 Design Standard... and none of these were found as qualifying products.
I'm attempting this on OS X 10.9.3, on numerous MacBook Pro configurations from the past four years. It is plugged into the network, and the connection is active. I haven't seen anything in Console that is related.
Is there someone from Adobe that I can contact to get verification of this Serial Number, and what product it would be attached to?

The Serial Number you have is a upgrade Serial Number from a older version.
So when you try to install, you have to insert the Serial Number for CS6 Design Standard and on the next screen, you need to choose the old product from drop down list and enter the Serial Number for that.
It is not necessary to install the old application before installing CS6 Design Standard , all you need is the Serial Number for the old version.

CS4 Design Standard Serial Number not accepted

Hi Adobe Community,
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and want to install my "old" CS4 Creative Suite Design Standard on it.
I found a page on the Adobe that enables to download CS4 software. They are all here except the Creative Suite Design Standard.
I picked the Illustrator one thinking that I would pick Photoshop and In Design afterwards.
It went well until I had to key in the Serial Number.
It was not accepted. Said:
Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite
Any idea?

Error serial number CS6 Master Collection

I try to install Adobe CS6 Master Collection on my Macbook, but it gives the error: "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again." But it is the first time that I am able to install this, because previously my software on my Macbook was not updated enough. Now I have updated it until the required software.
Does anyone know how I can solve this? I did not even got the chance to use this CS6 Master Collection and it is a present...

My CS6 Master collection went in Tryout mode and now the serial number entered is invalid?

No not all went in trial mode. Bridge no notification but for example Indesign yes trial mode also.
With checking this I now see that Photoshop is not working anymore.
How strange all this.
What I think is very strange is that I cannot install anything from my Adobe CS6 Master collection dvd with my serial number.
Like the serial number is locked, is that possible and how to get this all working again?

Can I use the same serial number for master suite when reinstalling after clean install of windows 8

I am reinstalling windows because windows got corupted. I can not access my computer to deactivate the software. Do I need to be worried about not having deactivated it? I will be reinstalling mastersuite 6 after I get windows 8.1 clean installed on the same computer. I just want to make sure I will not have any problems reinstalling and setting up the adobe mastersuite after I have installed windows 8.1. I don't want to have a problem with the serial number still being registered to my old installation of windows that will have been on the same pc.

Your previous activation will still be in the loop, so you should contact Adobe support and ask them to reset your activations. That way you can be sure you have the two your license allows for. You can always skip this if you only activated once before but it will leave you with no extra activation should you find a use for a second installation.

Can't install CS6 Design Standard - Serial number can't be proofed.

Two days ago I bought CS6 Design Standard. Now I wanted install it but in the beginning of the install process I had to type in the serial number. I did it. But after pressing the enter button I always gets follow message, even the serial number is right:
"Couldn't proof the serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Contact support." (Translated from German)
1. There is NO support on the weekend. Why not?
2. What do I have to do, so that the serial number wil be accepted. It can't be, that I bought a programm for severall hundred EUR and then I can't install it.

InDesign CS5.5 upgrade not accepting CS3 Design Standard Serial Number

I currently have Adobe CS3 Design Standard on my mac computer, and when I try to upgrade my InDesign to InDesign CS5.5, It is telling me my CS3 Serial Number is not valid. Please help.

Yes, as it should be. Suites can only be upgraded to suites. It says so in the fine print of the buying guides. Contact sales support about returning the package and getting a ful lsuite instead.

Using the same serial number on two devices, for Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection

I already have Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection (student version) installed on my personal home computer, but I'm looking into buying a laptop, will I be able to install the same programs and use the same serial number on my laptop as well as it being on my personal home computer, or would I have to buy separate software for my laptop?

Fininif you can install Creative Suite 6 on up to two computers for your use.

My CS4 Design Standard disk is corrupt so I downloaded CS4 design premium from the website only to find it doesn't recognise my serial number. There doesn't appear to be an option to download Design Standard on the site, please help??
