Yes, you can. If you use the current AirPort Express, Apple says that you can connect up to 50 devices. Realistically, make that 25-30 or so before the speed really begins to drop.
Remember that you will have to reset the modem though, before you connect it to the AirPort Express as the modem "remembers" the settings for your computer.

Interactive image labels are a bit overwhelming in appearance. Can I change the label background color or make it partially transparent? I have tried several things and looked this up on Lynda.com training but no info.

don't know how much this might help but you can change some colors using the Inspector as follows:
from the text menu you can control paragraph and character colors, from the text menu you can control the text color.

Yes. Settings - General - Passcode Lock - (enter current passcode) - turn Simple Passcode OFF. Then enter new code.

How can I change the read-only status of my external HDD?

I recently erased my Macbook's HD because it was insufferably slow. I reinstalled OS X 10.6.1 and all is well! Computer's fast and everything works like it should. Except that my external hard drive (2TB Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk) is now read-only to me. It used to be readable and writable when plugged into any computer. Then something changed, and it only worked with my laptop (not anyone else's). When I reformatted and reinstalled OS X, I chose the same user name as I had before the reinstall, because I was semi-worried that this might happen. My computer troubles were so frustrating, however, that I just took the leap. Now here I am with 620GB of data that I cannot delete, and another 1.38TB of empty space I cannot use.
Any ideas? Also, I apologize if this is in the wrong place. This is my first post on the Apple boards.

Fix Permissions for a Locked Drive
Open Terminal in the Utilities folder. Paste the following at the prompt. Press RETURN after each. The first command will prompt for you to enter your admin password. It will not be echoed to the screen. After entering your password press RETURN again.
sudo chflags 0 /volumes/*
sudo chmod a+rx /volumes/*
killall finder
An alternative is to download BatChmod and use it to fix the permissions.

If it's an iPhone 4, it's actually quite easy. If it's a 3G or 3Gs, it's a lot more difficult (if not impossible).
As I mentioned, I've seen various other companies that make and sell them. Since it's a component not approved or endorsed by Apple, i'm hesitant to post the link here. Spend a few minutes Googling "replacement iphone back" and similar searches, and you'll find what you are looking for.

Can't change the style/colour of my welcome screen background...

I'm not happy with the backdrop that appears on my display when my MBA starts up, before I log in to my user account. So I'm not referring to the wallpaper that you'd see on the desktop if all your applications were minimised or closed, but the background when you first switch the notebook on (visible when the theme tune is played, and the apple symbol shown). The MBA I purchased in September had a lovely background that was a subtle cross hatch of dark and medium grey. The newer model, purchased this June (after I destroyed the first one through water damage) has a boring, solid light grey background instead. I haven't been able to work out how to alter this in system preferences. Does anybody know a way, or do I have no choice?

That startup image cannot be modified or altered. If you try to do this with third party softwrare, your Mac may not boot.
It's part of the startup sequence.

E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 after Prior Success using Digital Editions. I've tried everything the forums recommend already.

I keep getting E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 even though I've had success many many times on my mac. I've updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, unauthorized and reauthorized both the nook at the Digital Editions. What else can I do to read my library book? Through overdrive I can read the download on my phone, so there is no problem there. Why can't I read it on my computer???? I don't understand why this just started happening after many uses. I even tried clearing out Every single associated file... nothing...

I was able to figure it out using the help of another user who helped me REALLY deauthorize and then reauthorize my ADE. It worked, and my library books are back on ADE, AND I can reauthorize Nook properly (I was getting an error)!! The following is by a Staff Member Dominic Michael
"Please try the below steps (read the note section before clearing the registry):
Mac:
Deauthorize ADE. To do so, navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to trash.
Authorize ADE again.
Windows:
Click Start > Run.
Type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
Right-click the Adept key and click Delete.
In the Confirm Key Delete dialog box, click OK. ADE is deauthorized now.
Authorize ADE again.
Note:
Deleting the registry will deactivate all ADE authorization credentials on this computer. You will then be able to open eBooks on this computer only if you know your authorization credentials. Also you will not be able to open books that are fulfilled using anonymous accounts (authorized computers without an ID)."

The general rule is that the shipping address must be in the same country as the billing address of the credit card used to order. However, you can try changing the Print Products store in iPhoto's Advanced preference pane to Canada and try ordering again.

Modern kobo books should just use regular Adobe DRM and be readable on compatible ereaders that are authorized to the correct Adobe ID.

You should be able to copy within the restrictions. You can double-check that with the sellers (Kobo).
Just double-checking
the pocket book is Adobe DRM compatible?
that you have authorized your pocket book with your current Adobe ID?
menu/Help/Authorize Device when plugged into ADE: Library/Authorize Device if using the older more reliable ADE 1.7.2
If the pocket book is already authorized but to a different ID, you will need to deauthorize it first, ctrl-shift-E to ADE with device plugged in (or cmd-shift-E on Mac).
Be aware that will lose the ability to read DRM books authorized with the previous ID.

I tried to email the developer (Canada) but the email for technical support is not a good email. My email got returned to me undeliverable? Not sure what to do next?
