Using distribute to send and receive forms.... secure or not?

As always I have browsed through and tried to find my answer and have not located exactly what I am looking for.  I have a PDF form that I want to distribute. When I distribute there are 3 options, the first option showing a lock which tells me it's secure when the recipient submits information back to me; the second and third do not show the lock.  I have tested them all and being the first option requires recipients to log in to adobe, I can not use that option.  Does anyone know if the manual option (#2) is secure when it's submitted back?  They are inputting personal/sensitive information so I am looking for a secure way for them to return the form.
I have Pro X but am saving form as PDF then editing and distributing (not using livecycle).
Thank you,
Heather

I don't have Pro X but...
I have been researching this for quite some time now. I too have a form which requires sensitive personal information to be entered by users who may not be any more computer literate than filling out, saving and emailing.
I tried to incorporate a button with EMAIL BACK TO... etc.
The problem is, there is only one way to secure an email this way and it is using a 'security envelope' - which I am assured is not secure. Given that an emailed form may end up on minimum of 2 isp servers there is no security AND no way to apply an automated security envelope. Tried. Hard.
My research has led me to believe that the only way to secure the information is to have the form accessed and filled out online.
Once finished, a button on the form can be loaded with Save and Send - to a secure server -  and here is my current position...
I am SURE I read somewhere early in my travels something about a 'Secure Adobe Server" which receives the form, notifies the intended recipient who then collects the form from the server for a service fee.
This would resolve my form's security in that user accesses the pdf online, fills it out online and sends online.
Anyone know? Heather, do you know or have you heard of this?
Regards Robyn

  • Need to use only one sender and receiver communication channel.

    Hello Experts.
I have a scenario where in I have to use only one sender and receiver communication channel to push files from different source directories to different receiver directories.
    For Eg;
    Sender
    D://dir1/file1 --->                  E://dir1/File1
    F://dir2/file2 ---->                 G://dir2/file2
    H://dir3/file3----->                 I://dir3/file3.
Can this be achieved by using pass through scenario?
Please let me know if the requirement is not clear.
    Thanks in advance.
    Advit Ramesh

    Hi Advit,
I think it is possible. You have to use the Advanced Selection for Source file in the sender channel to define multiple files to be picked up. Also, the Dynamic configuration must also be enabled and used in the mapping so you can manipulate the target directory and target file name based on your source files.

    Hello,
Hope that someone can help me please.
I have my own unique registered domain name.
Currently I am using the gmail server to transmit and receive email - I am using Mail on a MacBook, and an iPhone.  Works just fine.
However, I was wondering if the iCloud can be set up to also provide this same function?
If so how do we achieve this?

  • Send and receive comments toolbar missing

    Hi there,
I have been dealing with an issue and need some assistance.
We recently updated Adobe Reader from 10 to 11 and now the "Send and Receive comments" toolbar does not appear when performing browser based reviews. this same issue also occurs for users who have Adobe Pro 11 installed on their PC's
The issue occurs only with Adobe Reader 11 and Adobe Pro 11, previous versions of Adobe (such as Pro 9 and reader 10) work just fine. The documents are prepared for the online review by Adobe LiveCycle ES2 and users are provided a link to the PDF via a Sharepoint based workflow.
There have been no other changes to our configuration, simply installing Adobe Reader or Pro 11 on client PC's and they can no longer send their comments as the toolbar does not appear.
Can anyone please help? This issue is holding back Adobe Reader 11 being deployed to around 1600 users and I am feeling the heat, it already was deployed and I have had to get it rolled back due to this issue.
    Cheers,
    Simon

  • How can I be sure iMessage is sending and receiving via WiFi and not using my text message allotment?

My daughter has a new iPad Touch and I have a 3GS with 5.0.1. She wants to send and receive a million messages from me each day day with iMessage. Right now, I have Settings>Messages>Send As SMS - OFF. With this current setting, can I be assured I am using the WiFi only and not burning my SMS allotment from ATT? Am I safe to restore Send As SMS setting to ON? In other words, will the default method of transmission of text messages be through the internet, when that service is available?
Without waiting for a $1000 bill from ATT for text messages, can I ensure I'm sending and receiving iMessages through the WiFi only?

Well, I just noticed that a shaded iMessage appears in the enter text window when sending to her iPod Touch and my messages appear in a blue balloon, with her replies are in gray balloons. When sending to someone with another kind of phone, the text entry window says "Text Message" and my balloons are green. I guess this is an indication that the iMessage system is working and I'm not blowing through my SMS allotment from ATT.
With these indications, can I be sure I'm messaging through the iMessage system, or the carrier's SMS service?

  • Is there a way to send and receive SMS on multiple cellular devices without using iMessage?

I currently own a cellular iPad mini and an iPhone 4s and would like SMS to be the same on both devices as well as my desktop.
After many months of struggling with iMessage, I decided to turn it off entirely.  I discovered that my best friend did not receive dozens of my texts over the span of a few months (I compared our message history side by side).  Seems like it had something to do with traveling in and out of wifi zones or possibly conflicts between our two carriers, ATT and Verizon.  Regardless, I am not willing to dive into iMessage fully until this gets sorted out.  Further, SMS is the standard message format for everyone outside of the Apple sphere, and I do not feel comfortable lumping them together into one app.  If I decide to switch to Android, will all of my contacts with iPhones continue sending me iMessages?
    Thank you for your help!

Is there a way to send and receive SMS on multiple cellular devices without using iMessage?
Search the iTunes App Store for any 3rd party SMS apps that may be available.
If I decide to switch to Android, will all of my contacts with iPhones continue sending me iMessages?
Android phones don't receive iMessages, they can recieve SMS messages sent through the iOS Messages app. The app that your contacts choose to use to send you messages is completely up to them.

  • Code to retrive the sender and receiver interface names using custome adapter module

    Hello Team,
I want to develop an custom adapter module which could retrieve the names of the sender and receiver interfaces of the scenario and for that i am trying to use com.sap.aii.af.service.administration.api.monitoring.ProcessContextFactory.ParamSet but i don't know whether this API will support or not and also i don't know how to develop the code using this API so please suggest me some code for it so that i could retrieve the names.
    Thanks you all in advance.
    Regards,
    Avinash.

    Hi,
Just ASMA setting will do the needful. Are you planning to rename your target file name. If yes then only you will require UDF.
Update: Since your directory name will be taken from source file name then you have to use mapping for this, else it will not be possible.
I don't know if creating a new module for this will help you solve the issue, but in that case rather creating adapter module, mapping will be easier.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey,
All of our CAN drivers have been written for National Instruments' CAN hardware (referenced here : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/E2C6ED025C798C5586256F4E00520448 ). Thus, you will have to code all your communication manually, unless Systec provides a LabVIEW driver. There might be various dll files that Systec provides for communication, which you will be able to access through LabVIEW. Take a look at the Call Library Function Node, which can be found from the Functions Palette under Connectivity -> Libraries & Executables. Here you can call a dll file, and also the individual functions within that dll.
I would suggest posting your question either to the LabVIEW forum, as previously mentioned, or to the CAN forum found here : http://forums.ni.com/ni/board?board.id=30

Hi i use iphone 4 with iso 6.1.3!! Am not getting an option to register my phone number in imsg!! Am just getting an option to set my email address for sending and receiving the imsgs!! How do i register my phone number??

    Hello Nikkii,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iOS: Troubleshooting FaceTime and iMessage activation
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4268
    Troubleshooting telephone-number activation (iPhone only)
After each step, toggle FaceTime and iMessage off and then on in Settings > Messages and Settings > FaceTime.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Ensure that your iPhone is set to the correct time zone. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: If Set Automatically is on but the incorrect time zone is displayed, turn Set Automatically off and then choose the correct time zone, date, and time. Then turn Set Automatically on again.
Ensure that FaceTime has not been restricted: Settings > General > Restrictions > FaceTime.
Verify that you can send SMS messages. You need a valid SMS messaging plan to activate FaceTime.
Contact your carrier to verify that there are no restrictions or blocks on text messages. Blocks on text messaging will prevent iMessage and FaceTime registration.
If you are unable to activate iMessage or FaceTime on a device after remote wiping it, wait at least 24 hours and try again.
If "Waiting for Activation" is displayed, leave FaceTime and iMessage enabled for 24 hours. Toggling FaceTime or iMessage off and on will cause the registration process to start over.
    Best of luck,
    Mario
