Using "Download on iTunes" logo in an Image

Hi there!
So here's what... A song I did is available on iTunes and I would like to know if using the logo (Download on iTunes) in the images promoting the song is legal???
Thanks guys!

Actually this is one of those times when doing this in Photoshop does not make all that much sense since you have to go back and forth from Illustrator and risk having placement problems in Illustrator.
here is what you do
1 place the image file does not matter what format the original is
2 then copy the image and paste in from ( command C, command F (Mac) Control C control F (PC))
3 then draw a shape over the area that you want to obscure
4 then select the shape and the copied instance of the image and make a clipping  mask, ( command 7 (Mac) control 7 (PC))
5 then while it is still selected apply a gausian blur effect or if you wish create a mosaic from the Object menu. When creating a mosaic from an image with a clipping mask applied remember to consider the whole dimension of the original image when selecting the number of mosaics.
You can now easily turn the visibility of this area on or off.
You can also flatten the transparency making it a smaller object, it will have a small white area around the which you can recreate a clipping mask for to keep the fie size down.
You can also use different effects like Crystallization, etc. same as you can in Photoshop.
Here are screenshots
You can also give the clipped area a feather effect

And now, I'm stuck at the screen with the iTunes logo and the plug.  But no matter how many times I try, recovery mode will not work.  My phone is currently useless unless I can figure this out.

    No problem, glad to help!
Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine.

You know that you have to connect the iPad to your PC with the cable that came with it -  and then iTunes should start automatically and it will guide you through the set up process?
If you have already tried to connect the iPad - and you have launched iTunes - and you still have no luck - reboot your PC and then begin the process again.

    Hello bigboza,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information, take a look at:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3281
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
    Have a nice day,

  • My iPod 4G, after reset and iOS 6 install, now has only some album art after syncing music. Even music directly downloaded from iTunes is missing album art. (I'm using iTunes 11.0.1 on Windows Vista)

My iPod 4G, after a reset and iOS6 install, after I recopied and synced music, is missing most album art. Even songs directly downloaded from iTunes are missing album art. I'm using iTunes 11.0.1 on Windows Vista. My iPod isn't full. Whenever I go to "On This iPod" and add album art and sync, nothing happens. Please help :/

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I have a second generation Ipod and it was delivered to me without an operating system how do I download one on it

    Hello Michael.Suarez,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If the iPod touch is showing an iTunes logo with a cable, then it is in recovery mode and will need to be restored to the factory settings.  To get step-by-step instructions on how to do this, please follow the article below.

  • My iPad is not responding - I am getting a picture of a cord and the Itunes logo.  I have tried to recover but Itunes tries to download new software but I cannot download software while it is in recovery mode.  Help!!

What is the problem when all you get is a picture of a charging cord and the itunes logo?  I tried hooking up to my computer and itunes and it said I could not download the new software while it was in recovery mode but it won't let me do anything else.  Any ideas?

I hope you have a backup if you don't want to lose your iPad contents. You have to restore the iPad now using iTunes on your computer. That's what the message on the screen means.
    Take a look at this.

    Hi there beee19,
You may find the troubleshooting steps in the article below helpful.
Resolve specific iTunes update and restore errors
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694
    Check USB connections
    Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response,” and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
    Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you checked your connections and are still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues.

  • Cannot turn on ipad 2 after downloading i OS8. All I get is plug and itunes logos.

My iPad worked great until I downloaded the latest update to iOS8. Now, all I see when I turn it on is a picture of the plug pointing toward the iTunes logo. It will not function. I see that I need to do a system restore but I do not want to lose all of the recent apps/music that we have downloaded. What do I do?

You will need to connect it to a computer running iTunes and perform the restore. There's no other option now. Something went wrong with the update, and the iPad is unable to start.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
As to your purchases, as long as you set the iPad backup with the Apple ID uses to purchase those items, you can go to the Purchased Tab in the iTunes and app store Apps, and download them again for free.
You should also want to perform backups either to iCloud or iTunes so that you can restore from them in such cases.

  • Loaded update ... restarted ... now stalled on iTunes logo image?!?

I just hit the update button to download ATV2 4.4 and it did a proper download, then it restarted and displayed the itunes logo with the white plug (same as the my itouch when I first got it) and stalls on this image until it's white indicator light starts flashing repeatedly while my screen goes blue with a not that it is receiving no signal.
    Ideas?

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

Unfortunately, your iPad went into recovery mode and must be restored now. There is no getting around this. You need to use iTunes to do this as well. Read this for more instructions.

  • Notified of iTunes update for iPhone; tried to download; phone inoperable all day. screen shows itunes logo and cable

I was notified of an iTunes update for my iPhone; I tried to download, but am just showing the screen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a cable end. Phone has been inoperable all day.

    Hey there Gina,
It sounds like you were updating your phone, and now it is unresponsive with an iTunes and usb cable on the screen. This appears to be recovery mode, and you should be able to restore the device using the following article to get that install completed:
If you can't update or restore your iOS device
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If not, then reset the device with the following article, and then attempt the restore with the above article:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Downloads from iTunes on my macbook air do not download on my desktop but remain in iTunes folder which refuse to open for use.

I couldn't get downloads from iTunes to be on the desktop of my Macbook air but they remain in iTunes folder and refuse to open for use. What am I to do?

Downloads of what?  Songs?  Apps?  Books?
If you're talking about apps, then you have downloaded iOS apps which are intended to run on an iPhone or iPad, not a Mac.
