Using Education Edition on more than one computer?

I have CS6 (Education, teacher student edition) loaded to my iMac. Can I also load it onto my laptop?
Can I have this on two machines? Seeing as I use both it would be very very useful.

Ok, This has got me so frustrated! We got an iPod and installed iTunes. We thought we had it figured out - we purchased music from iTunes, played it on the iPod and everything was great. Then plugged the iPod into my other computer to listen to our music and it won't freakin' play! says the computer is "Not Authorized" and suggests that by 'authorizing' the 2nd computer, it will overwrite the songs that are already on the iPod. This is NOT desirable. We've downloaded and installed iTunes onto the 2nd computer and used the same login account that we used on the first computer.
What gives!?!?! I thought this was supposed to be easy, but it's not! I was hoping for a quick and simple "plug it in and start listening to music." This is definately not quick and simple. Albeit, I'm new to this iPod craze, but this shouldn't be so difficult. I've poked around on the website and cannot seem to find an answer to this.

oh btw, Is anyone else getting annoyed by Apple's rediculous attempt at monopolizing this market by forcing us to use thier own proprietary software?!?!

First of all, any computer that plays purchased content must be authorized. This can be accomplished by opening iTunes, then store>authorize computer. If you wish to use your iPod on more than one computer & not have your iPod content erased, you will have to have your iPod preferences set on "manually manage". See the following link.

i synched my ipod with one computer, hooked it up to another and it says i can't sync with more than one library? it says i have to restore it but i dont want to delete my music off of my ipod, i just want to add the music from this other library

I have two different iPods and two computers. I regularly use either iPod on either computer.
First set the preferences so itunes will not automatically sync when ipod is connected.
Then connect the ipod and set itunes to manually manage music.
Drag and drop whatever content you want to the device showing on the left.
If this was the default setup, there wouldn't be all these posts about people losing all their music when they connect their ipod.

You can use PS on two different computers, and with the subscription, you they don't have to be the same platform.

i am at work now and have just downloaded itunes, and have my cable with me now, and i am wondering if i plug it in right now will it erase my ipod? because i haven been home to set it to "manual"?
good question.
if it asks you if you want to associate your ipod with the library on the work computer, say "NO!" (if you do associate it while you're on auto it will replace everything in the ipod with the contents of the work itunes.)
if it then shows up in the sourcelist of the itunes at work, try switching it to manual on that PC.
if no joy though, it would probably be best to head back home and switch it manual from there.

I'm thinking about buying a Quicktime Pro 7 key, but I couldn't tell if it is just for one computer, or if I could use it for both my iMac and labtop. Anyone know? Thanks.

My screwed up one had /iweb/ as part of the URL, just in front of /site/
So, I renamed the site "Site" on the home computer I do 99% of all my work and publishing on, republished,and it made things better, in that....
I can get to the site again with just the URL.. web.mac.com/firstname.lastname
but when it renders the page the url changes to include /iweb/ before the /site/
and the single welcome page I accidently published from my work mac is still out there. If I log into my .MAC account, it is the only page that shows up under the My pages section.
I'm confused.

General rule of thumb is you need a drive about 2-4 times the size of the total amount of data being backed up. See #1.

Not if you download it from the Mac App Store. The Mac App Store requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later which will not run on a PowerBook. How do you use the ipod with another computer that doesn't have all your songs on it? If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer or with more than one library you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply. The content of iTunes and the iPod are not syncronised in this mode so the two can be different. You can directly access the content of the iPod and play it through iTunes and you can drag and drop whatever you want to the iPod from either library. Even when manually managing an iPhone, you can only add content from one iTunes library.

Something else to be aware of when using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device: Safely Disconnect IPod
You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that way you can continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

I want to install my recently purchased photoshop cs5 on my macbook, as well as my imac. The only thing I worry about is that the macbook is in my name and the imac is technically in my dad's name, even though he only uses it to surf the web. The only reason he even bought the imac as opposed to anything else is so that I'd have a great place to edit photos. I really need it to be on both, will this work? Rage is not the word. I have been having the worst time with this thing! UGH! 1st I have more than one computer that has different music on each, but this thing will only sync with 1 and delete anything from another library already added. CRAZY! Second I wanted to rip my cds to my computer without being connected to the internet and itunes won't recong the music added at a later time. I have to be connected to the internet for it to Id the music as I am ripping...CRAZY! Then I was attempting to delete the duplicated music that was not Id and it would only allow me to delete one song at a time...CRAZY! Is there a way to have this thing synch with more than 1 computer? Delete songs in a group and not everything in sight. If so how and if anyone has any remedies for the rest of this craziness I would be most appreciative. I took me forever to even figure how to get to the point to post this. I beginning to feel very sorry I bought this thing. I thought I could rip my cds, and use my work and home computers to synch with it. Please someone tell me I wasn't wrong for making this assumption. Will I be able to sych with other ipods? I bought this thing thinking I could was I wrong. I haven't even attempted that yet. You can't "sync" that is automatically update an iPod from multiple libraries or computers. If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

That's correct, iTunes (and other music programs) downloads the information from an online database that contains the details of many thousands of CDs.

Click on the first track you want to delete in a list, hold down the shift key and click on the last one, this highlights everything in between. Press the delete key

What do you want to sync with other iPods, iTunes? You can't sync one iPod with another, you can only update from iTunes. If you are adding a second iPod for your own use, just connect the new iPod to your computer and follow the on screen instructions. It will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update all songs and playlists, selected playlists only or you can manage it manually.
