Using exits with SAPConsole
Hello collegues,
I have a problem using RF exits. I need to change the screen 2151 of the program 'SAPLLMOB'.
I had follow those steps:
1. created the custom screen 9151 in the program SAPLXLRF
2. inserted in spro Customizing for Logistics -> Mobile Data Entry -> Define Screen Management the follow entry with field variant setted to 1
SAPLLMOB 16X20 Narrow format 1 0151 Storage unit count 9151
3.Created a project in CMOD with setting the dummy screen as follow:
SAPLLMOB 1151 EXIT0101 SAPLXLRF 9151
But when I launch the transaction lm58, I continue to see the standard screen and I don't see my custom screen..... why?
Very thanks
Marco
Yes the project is activated. I put as a break point in the exit but when i call LM58 transaction, the program dosen't stop.

Using barcodes with SAPConsole
Hi,guys
Can anyone fill me in how i can use barcodes in RF development with SAPConsole, for example to introduce custom treatment of barcodes?
Best regards,
BrunoAt my company, we have "travelers", forms with info about the product to be built. On this form there is a barcode for the production order. When the product is finished being built, the user scans the barcode with a stationary barcode scranner(running sapconsole), this triggers a production order confirmation and printing of a shipping label. All of our sapconsole transactions are custom made.
Stationary scanners: Intermec 2480 Antares
RF Handheld scanners: Intermec 2425 Antares
Telnet Server: Georgia Softworks Telnet Server
SAPconsole: Sapconsole 640

I'm using a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 1 inside a VMware workstation (version 5.5.2.build-29772) with 1.4GB of RAM with an Oracle 10gR2 for windows (10.2.0.1.0)
I don´t know if it is a configuration problem or that Windows Server 2003 SP1 is not supported or any other problem.
Any help you can give on this would be much appreciated.

You might have better luck actually installing Windows on your Mac, with the free http://www.virtualbox.org/
There is also a Cubase version for the Mac:

Apparently there is a version for Snow Leopard. Not sure if it will work with your newer version of Snow Leopard, but you can contact them and ask. -

here in this line the last word is ojdbc14/jar,i think it should have been ojdbc14.jar.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks&Regards
Manisha dasHello Manisha,
The one of the possible reasons for this is due to lack of H/W.
Increase your RAM size to atleast 2GB and utilise the same while you are installing ECC in database parameters step..
If the issue is with H/W, then this should fix the issue.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Satish. -

Using Dreamweaver to create PSP pages can become effortless and allow developers to rapidly generate thin-client, web based applications. Anything that can be accomplished with an ASP, PHP, JSP or any type of dynamic web page that also incorporates Javascript, can easily be created with PSP.
I've proven to management at my company that given similar application requirements, writing and deploying PSP pages is a much faster development cycle. And, in ALL cases, execution time is much faster and with a smaller application footprint.
When using these scripts together with Dreamweaver you can create a Rapid Application Development environment all by using PL/SQL Server Pages.
The batch file LOAD_PSP.bat will create a PSP file from your HTM file, creates a timestamped backup copy, and loads the PSP file into the database - all fast and easy.
Copy these batch files to your development directory and create a backup directory called Backup. Simply modify these batch files by adding the service name of your database to DB_NAME and adding your development username and password to the PSP_CONNECT variables. You should also change the path of your Oracle Home for the ORACLE_HOME variable as well.
To use these batch files, simply open a DOS Window and change it to your development directory where the batch files reside. Execute the batch files with the syntax, "LOAD_PSP web_page [optional connect string]" and the batch file will execute (don't add the .htm extension).
To allow you to maintain some sense of versioning, use the CH_PSP.bat script. This script simply adds a CHKPNT extension to the file name in the Backup folder. The reason for this is that LOAD_PSP will still copy PSP backup files of those compilations that fail and these should be removed. When you application is working, you can create a "CHECKPOINT" of the PSP file that you know works. This allows you to only maintain backup copies that you know work. Simply use the syntax "CH_PSP web_page". To perform a CHECKPOINT on all files in a folder, use the syntax "CH_PSP /ALL".
To view help for each, simply run the batch file followed by a /? or /help.
In closing, challenge a Java developer to create a dynamic, web-based, database driven app from scratch and win the top 3 challenges: Development time, size of application and speed of the application. I'll bet the PSP app wins all 3 every time.

------------------ Load CH_PSP.bat -----------------Yes, I can bring the CF administrator screen. It asked me for
a password, the one I entered during the install of CF.
No I have created a mdb database and in the administrator
screen I registered the data source.
I am using the built-in CF web server.
I was trying to create a directory for a testing web page (
just to get me started...) in my computer, tipically in the
"myDocuments" folder and then upload it to the CFweb server.
Now I am reading the CF documentation in the adobe site,
using the samples they provide.
I guess it will be a long way to learn but I will do it

Using prepareStatement with parameter in existsNode() function
Hello,
I have an xml file like the following:
<MyDocRoot id="myId" xmlns="..." xmlns:xsi="..." xsi:schemaLocation="...">
</MyDocRoot>
I am retrieving my documents from an XMLType table with aquery like:
SELECT OBJECT_VALUE FROM MY_TABLE
WHERE existsNode(OBJECT_VALUE, '/MyDocRoot[@id="myId"]') = 1;
When I run it using oracle client everything works fine and great.
Now I would like to execute that query from a Java application, using prepared statement, so with a query now like:
SELECT OBJECT_VALUE FROM MY_TABLE
WHERE existsNode(OBJECT_VALUE, '/MyDocRoot[@id="?"]') = 1;
And passing the id value as the parameter at execution time.
The problem I am facing is that it seems that the prepare statement does not recognize the parameter at that place. I get an error specifying that one parameter was provided but none was expected.
I get the same problem when I try to update a document in the database. In this case I have the query is:
UPDATE MY_TABLE SET OBJECT_VALUE = XMLType(?)
WHERE existsNode(OBJECT_VALUE, '/MyDocRoot[@id="?"]') = 1
The error I receive specify that 2 parameters were provided but only one was expected (the parameter in the XMLType() is recognized but not the one in the XPATH expression)
Does anybody have an example on how to use prepare statement with parameters in XPATH expression like above?Try this
package com.oracle.st.xmldb.pm.examples;
import com.oracle.st.xmldb.pm.common.baseApp.BaseApplication;
import oracle.jdbc.OraclePreparedStatement;
import oracle.jdbc.OracleResultSet;
import oracle.xdb.XMLType;

statement = (OraclePreparedStatement) getConnection().prepareStatement(statementText);
statement.setString(1,"AHUNOLD-20040817185414366GMT");
resultSet = (OracleResultSet) statement.executeQuery();
while (resultSet.next())
xml = (XMLType) resultSet.getObject(1);
doc = (XMLDocument) xml.getDocument();
doc.print(System.out);
resultSet.close();
statement.close();
getConnection().close();
public static void main (String[] args)
try
GetXMLType example = new GetXMLType();
example.initializeConnection();
example.doSomething(args);

Jdeveloper - Process exited with exit code 128.
Oracle,
I downloaded Jdeveloper from Oracle website. I tried to create simple helloworld jsp & tried to run from jdeveloper.
I set project properties->compiler->use Javac also, but still it gives same error message in "Running Embedded OC4j server Log"
In Messages tab

Thanks
ChristyChristy,
what is the operation system you are running JDeveloper on ?
To further debug the problem, can you open a command line at <Jdeveloper Directory>\j2ee\home
(assuming Windows) type
..\..\jdk\bin\java oc4j.jar
provide an administration password when asked. This command starts the embedded OC4J as a stand-alone server and prints messages to the console window
Let us know if this gives more detailed error messages or if it starts up

HELP!! Process exited with exit code 128.
Hi all,
I am using JDeveloper 10G to develop a struts project. I use the struts-tiles.tld to construct the layout.
<tiles:insert page="classicLayout.jsp" flush="true">
<tiles:put name="title" value="User and Assigned Role" />
<tiles:put name="header" value="menuTemplate.jsp" />
<tiles:put name="menu" value="TestPoint.jsp" />
<tiles:put name="body" value="ARM001800.jsp" />
<tiles:put name="footer" value="DebugPage.jsp" />
</tiles:insert>
However, when I run the project, then the OC4J Server terminated with this error code : Process exited with exit code 128.
What happen??
PS: I tried to remove the last 2 tags: body and footer. The Server did not terminate, but with some exceptions which related to tiles library.This type of error may occur because of developers mistake.
This error occurs when any function is called recursively in a loop.
The server calls the same function again and again in a loop and hence the server goes in infinite loop. This gives the error "Process exited with exit code 128".
You need to check your code thoroughly for such mistake.
Nital.

Process exited with exit code -1073741819+jdeveloper 9.0.5.1
Hi,
I am using JDeveloper 9.0.5.1 version.When i am compiling the java file it is compiling fine. But when I am running it it is throwing the error
Process exited with exit code -1073741819.
What is that error code means........?Hello,
It could mean that the cause is a StackOverflowError.
It could be that you are not running against your JDeveloper 9.0.5.1
embedded OC4J, but without noticing it, you are running your program
against another OC4J which would be incompatible!
May be you are running several JDevelopers on your machine, or
having a standalone OC4J and deployed your application against
such a different OC4J.
Try shutting down all the OC4J listeners on your machine, restart JDev
and run your java code again.
Hope this can help you.
