Using Firefox 3.6, I can't print anything on my HP printer from e-mail. If I change and use Internet Exployer, I can print e-mail.

I can't print e-mail but I can print PDF files or Word files. I was told by a computer pro that it may be a software problem. What can I do to correct this problem???

Follow the link in the first post above. I had to reset everything in the "print-print-printer "file for HP.

Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar. 
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions. 
If you can't find the new tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window. 
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible to the left of it.

Bring up the document you want to email, and tap the wrench in the upper right-hand corner. Under that Tools icon you will see several options, select Share and Print.
Select Email Document
Then select the document format you wish to send the document in: Pages, PDF, or Word
Tap on one, and the document will format into that selection, and then take you to a blank email page with the document attached and ready to go!

How do I make Firefox NOT my default browser and restore Internet Explorer as default browser?

I used to have Internet Explorer as my default browser and when I went to Firefox it asked me if I wanted Firefox as my default browser and I always sad no. I must haves screwed that up somehow and I want to go back to Explorer as default.

I don't follow your instructions... mine goes Settings->General->Cellular and from there it's just on/off options for Cellular Data, Enable 3G, Data Roaming, etc. Or I could go Settings->General->Profile APN Carrier Settings but when I click that it just shows as verified but no Visual Voice APN or MMS Settings. If I click More Details it goes to Signing Certificate which has a bunch of parameters for unlockit.co.nz but I am unable to change anything.
I just updated my iphone 3GS to IOS 6 and my internet (wifi and 3G), voice and text all work, but the only thing I can't do is send/receive pictures via text message. I am using At&t prepaid sim. Just read that the default memory storage on FF is set to 5 mbs. You can up that by clicking on tools, advanced and overriding the default and set it to 50 mbs (if you use lots of tabs) or 10 mbs (if you use just a few).
I open a blank tab and clear the cache periodically, while I am working. I can have several tabs open and watch videos on Youtube, by doing this. Have you cleared your cache?
Since I have an older computer, I've also used CCleaner for years. I use it often, but always before signing off. You can get it free...search for CCleaner, download from Pirifoam free. I didn't change any of the settings and it clears crap left behind from uninstalling programs, clears all browsers at once of: cookies, history, passwords, etc. I love it!
I had freezing, before using the "open blank tab, clear the cache" thing. Now I have no problems. Plus, as I said...you can change the default memory usage for FF and that should help too.

I can't print complete pages from e-mails that I had no problmes with prior to using Firefox

I received an online bill from an account of ours. I could open the pdf & view it but when attempting to print the bill, only portions of the bill would print. Today I tried to print a coupon with a bar code at the bottom of the message but only the first part of the coupon printed. I retrieved these messages from my Comcast x/finity web mail account using Firefox to retrieve instead of using Internet Explorer for getting to my Comcast homepage. I have an airline trip coming up & I'm fearful that I won't be able to print the boarding passes from the airline.

Before creating a new empty profile, you can follow the [[Basic Troubleshooting]] steps and maybe start by running in Firefox [[Safe Mode]]. This is the Firefox "debug" mode which uses the default theme and toolbars/controls, disables hardware acceleration and disables all extensions. We have two browsers,Firefox and Internet Ecxplorer.
There is no problem when we print useing Internet Explorer so obviously the fault is not with the printer.
When we try to print using Firefox we get a window that staes "An error occurred while printing"

When I print an email using firefox as my browser the print if very, very tiny. No problem using Internet Explorer. This happens with both my Gmail and my AOL emails.

My emails are printing in very tiny type (unreadable). This happens in both my Gmail and AOL email accounts. When I use internet explorer it doesn't happen. I have researched the answers online and it seems that if I go to Firefox>file>page setup>scale and set it to 100% it may fix the problem. However, I cannot figure out how to take the first step. Where can I find "file"????

Firefox will not open can't open preferences or anything was responding slow earlier in the day had been closed with 2 tabs open when trying to open in the second tab it responded really slow so sut down and used Safari instead

this morning I had 2 tabs open was trying to open my bank web site and it seemed to respond really slow so closed firefox and opened Safari instead the site still responded slow but finally opened when I closed and went back to firefox it would not open can't re-install it or delete it or basically anything nothing is opening
