Using Firefox 9.0.1 my Yahoo toolbar calendar link keeps asking for my password. I can access all other Yahoo content from that toolbar except the calendar. Any suggestions?
I can access this calendar by using IE so what can I do? I reloaded the Yahoo toolbar and still have a problem.

You can check if there's a conflict with another installed extension by starting in [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode Safe Mode] and just enabling the Yahoo toolbar.

Sounds like you encrypted your iPhone backup, & if so it's asking for the encrypted backup password. Do you have a company Exchange account on your phone?

Yahoo has been doing things to their servers that often muck up the Mail app. Usually it takes 24-48 hours to run its course then it'll work again.
if it doesn't clear up by the end of the weekend, you can remove and readd your account, but chances are it'll just start to work. -
Searched for "st davids austin" on Google. In results clicked on listing for St David's Hospital North Austin. Apparently the site is written in ASPX and FF will not open it. It keeps asking for me to make a program selection to open the page. When I select FF as the program it just loops back and asks the same question again.
1. That is caused by a few different Bugs in Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions. It looks like it was fixed for Firefox 4.0.
2. Firefox doesn't go by the "system default printer". Firefox goes by the last used printer in Firefox as being the "default" in Firefox. It will remember the "last used in Firefox" and will use that printer until you switch to another printer and then remember that one. -
My yahoo mail keeps asking for my password, even though I entered it correctly.
after my mail comes up and before I can read any emails, the system goes to a screen asking for my password. I enter my password, go back to mail, and before I can read any mail, the screen asking for my password pops up again and does it all over again.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Printer keeps asking for a password when printing in safari or firefox
Hello I'm new to the Mac. I have been a PC User for over 30 years.
Here is my issue. I print in safari or Firefox and every time it asks for a password from the user. I click remember the key but everytime it pops up when I want to print.
How do I fix this.

Calendar App keeps asking for my Yahoo password
If I start up the Calendar App in Mavericks, I am constantly asked for my Yahoo Account password.
I enter the password, nothing. So Calendar asks me again, what is the Yahoo Password?
I have deleted the iCloud account from my iMac.
Reset up a new iCloud Account.
Changed the Yahoo Account password.
Trashed Yahoo Mail accounts in settings on iMac and iPad.
Then readded Yahoo Account in Mail settings w new password.
I made a calendar date on my iPad, the iMac immediately showed it.
So incidents are synced.
So why can't Calendar accept my yahoo password? Or do I even need Calendar to open, if all date incidents are synced?Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.

If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.

from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -

*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.

Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the <b>permissions.default.image</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

Yahoo Mail: on Mac Pro (keeps asking for my password and then doesn't work)
I have used Yahoo Mail through my Mac Pro Mail Account for years and enjoyed fine service.
For the last few months, the Mac Mail says I have the wrong password, and it won't allow me to access
mail.
If I change the password, it will work for a while (days) and the cycle starts all over again.
Sometimes, I stop using Mac Mail and use Yahoo off the web, and then suddenly Mac Mail will start working
on its own again.
I read a thread for earlier in the year and tried every single thing suggested - this still happens
I have used Yahoo mail for 22 years - but maybe it is time to switch?
Gmail never has this problem...but I use the Yahoo mail for my business, my friends, and groups.
Anyone with a working solution?
PS: My Yahoo email ALWAYS 100% of the time works on my iphone, and ipad...this only happens on my Mac Pro.You don't have a Mac Pro (*65lb tower) but a notebook.

you may have to rebuild mail index or see if you can export, (re)move the existing mail folder and setup a new one and import old mail. Mail does and can have its issues for sure.

Are you using Mail or iPhoto as mail client?
I'd try to use a different default mail account than Yahoo! mail in iPhoto. Open the list of your account in the "iPhoto Preferences > Accounts" and drag a different account to the top of the list.Yahoo! mail is giving many problems recently with always prompting for passwords, not only in iPhoto. -
I initially thought that my laptop froze up, but this was not the case. I do not want to have to uninstall, I am in school and have a lot of bookmarks that are vital to my learning, to lose those would be detrimental to my education. Can anyone help with this malfunction?
Please update Firefox to 3.6.17 a.s.a.p. the reason being that there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.
