Using FlashAlbumExporter plug-in with trial version of Aperture 2.1
I have aperture 1.5 and am thinking about upgrading.
One of the features I am looking for is more variety and control in web gallery generation from Aperture.
With this in mind I wanted to play with FlashAlbumExporter.
I downloaded the installer file and opened it but that is where I am hitting a wall.
I go to click the file (FlashAlbumExporter.ApertureExport) and it opens the trial version of Aperture 2.1 but I never see Flash Album Exporter as an export option after I have selected photos, projects, web pages, or anything else I could think of.
It simply doesn't install. What am I doing wrong?
Place the plugin bundle, FlashAlbumexporter.ApertureExport, in your Aperture Export plugin directory (Users -> "your user name" -> Library -> Application Support -> Aperture -> Plug-Ins -> Export).
NOTE: If this is your first Aperture plug-in, the folders Plug-Ins and Export may not exist. In this case just create them first.

You need to have an image open in the main window.

I have a file created by Trial version of captivate. It was created in a different computer. Now, I have to make some modification in the file. However, when I tried to open it with Captivate 5.5, I got the error shown below. I am not able to use the popular solution provided in this link Click here to view because the file was not created in my computer. I believe that there is a lock on the file since it was created with Trial version of captivate. Is it possible that I send the file to a representative, and they look into it?Was the file created with the same version? You talk about 'trial', but the only trial version available at this moment is Captivate 8. You were never able to open a Captivate project in a previous version, that explains why you cannot open it in 5.5.

Aperture sampes project with trial version?
Just downloaded the 1.5 trial version of Aperture, and apparently it does not include the samples project, correct? Or did I blow it on the install somehow?
I had hope to work with this for awhile till I got my feet wet.

If you are dedicated to learning Aperture, you could pick up the Apple Pro Training Series Aperture 1.5 book by Orlando Luna and Ben Long as it has sample projects on the CD that are used in the tutorials. The book is highly recommended for learning all the ins and outs of Aperture and would really give you a thorough idea of what you can do with the program.

Why do video clips in purchased v12 still show "created with trial version"
I'm new to Premiere so bear with me. I trialled elements v12, liked it and purchased a download. When I import clips they still show "created with trial version". I removed all traces I could find of the trial version before installing the new one so I'm baffled.
Can someone please enlighten me?

Not able to import photos from Iphoto with the trial version of Aperture
I just downloaded the trial version of Aperture 3 and was trying to import my Iphoto library to work with some of the photos in Aperture. When I go to File, Import, Iphoto library, the IPhoto Library is not able to be selected.
I can go into finder and see that I have an Iphoto Library and it opens with no problem, but for some reason I cannot import or open the library in Aperture, which makes me very hesitant to purchase the full version of the product.
Any help is appreciated.Sounds to me like you are not in the Import dialog box.
What happens if you select File->Import ... ?

I' can't open images or files with trial version of Photoshop cc. Photoshop starts, it seems ok, but don't work.
Illustrator cc works very well. Why?1. I open Photoshop cc Trial version
2. I click "continues with the trial version" (in italian version)
3. File>Open> psd (cs5) or jpeg files
I can't even open a new document. (File>New> etc..)
All files can be opened by Paint, Ilustrator etcc. Only Photoshop doesn't work.

Now when I try to trial run the current version, to see if it has improved on my system, I keep getting "trial has expired" messages.
I believe that Apple and most other vendors allow only one free trial.

If you have any trouble to launch your Adobe product and has been revert to trial and/or prompt for a serial number, please try the steps below:
1. Sign Out and Sign In back following the steps:
Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app
2. Delete the OPM.db file:
Close the Creative Cloud application.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.
Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7
Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion
3. Reset your Hosts File: (follow the steps 3 from the link below)
Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later

Can not use default screen saver with this version of Mac OS X

I created a 10.6.4 image on a Mac Pro that I have installed on a new 27" iMac. Every thing works fine, as expected, except the screen savers (all Apple default). All screen savers appear in the list when booted off the Mac Pro, but when booted off the iMac, all but 2 disappear (Computer Name and Flurry). Also, the ones listed under Pictures show up, but when I try to use one it says "Can not use 'screen saver name' with this version of Mac OS X - Contact your vendor."
Also, the flurry screen saver runs extremely slow.
Unfortunately, I don't have another iMac to compare versions with, but I've compared with a new Macbook Pro and they are exactly the same. Is there a cache or a pref I can flush?The old screensavers were about the first things that didn't work when moving to Snow Leopard, so my guess would be the iMac is booting in 32-bit vs 64-bit mode (or whichever mode is incompatible with your screensavers).

It sounds likely that you have more than one copy of Safari on your hard drive. The one in your Applications folder is the one you should have. The one you're trying to launch is an older version that somehow got moved somewhere else, so that the new version got installed in your Applications folder (where it should be) while the old version is running (or trying to run) from another location.
First, double-click on the Safari application file that you have in your Applications folder. Does it run properly, without error messages? If so, everything is fine. You just need to get rid of the old version of Safari and set it up so you can easily launch the new version that is in your Applications folder.
Are you clicking on the Safari icon in your Dock when you see the error message? If so, do this: Control-click on the Safari icon in your Dock and select "Show in Finder" from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open showing the location of that copy of Safari. If that Finder window is any location other than the Applications folder, delete the Safari file that is in that folder. Then drag the Safari icon out of your Dock. Navigate to your Applications folder and drag the Safari file from the Applications folder to your Dock.
You should be all set, but click on the new Safari icon in your Dock to make sure it is the correct version and runs without problems.

I am getting the response " You cannot use the application "iTunes" with this version of MAC OS X." How do i get Itunes on my Mac. I tried to download the newest version but it won't let me do that either.
What operating system version are you using on your Macbook? If you are still using Tiger 10.4 the new iTunes requires Leopard (10.5) or higher.
