Using H.264 to export to create mpeg file?

When I want to burn a FCP project to DVD SP I export it to Compressor and then choose the "DVD Best quality 120 (or 90) minutes" setting.
But, when I export for the web I use H.264 compression which gives me really good results.
Is there anyway of creating an MPEG file to be used in DVD SP which uses H.264 compression quality?
Thanks,,

  • DVDSP export as a mpeg file

My company is doing a Prezi presentation online and they
want to drop audio/video into the program.
    NP we've figured that out.
But they also to put an interactive menu
with 3 or 4 choices on that menu into the Prezi.
I created a quick test in DVDSP with a menu and tried
to export mpeg and mpeg won't highlight for me to do it.
So first, can you export from DVDSP an mpeg file and if
I could would the menu carry over and be interactive in Prezi
or does the menu only work on a DVD.
    Thanks.

  • Using Acrobat XI MAC, unable to create Word file from PDF. Tried a simple PDF as well as a complex file. Neither can be created.

Using Acrobat XI mac. Why can I not create a Word file from a PDF?  Tried some remedies offered online, i.e. convert to PDF X4:2008 then try to convert to the Word file. No go. Advise.

    Hello,
I have tried 3 PDFs: one with only text -  created in Illustrator(CS5)  and saved as a PDF default, and the second which was a complex form of text and scanned images created in QuarkXpress and saved as a PDF for print purposes. The third file was a simple PDF offered online to solve problem.
Each attempt was to create a Word file. Each received the same error message: Save as failed to process this document. No file was created.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Exporting to a mpeg file, or a DVD format ??? questions around this:)

    Hi friends
May I ask a silly question?
I wonder, when i have finished editing the movie, audio, effects, and all of that. When I am VERY satisfied with the result ( do you know the feeling )
OK, everything is on my timeline, and I press Ctrl + M. I choose MPEG2, and I get a file that I put on my desktop. From my desktop I burn it with Windows DVD Maker, choosing to make a dvd in this program.
Here is my question: Do I have to use another then PRpro for making an DVD formated DVD disk?
Is it the same to burn a DVD file on a plate, then burn a DVD formated plate?
And then, why cant prememiere do this?
I use the Que in media encoder, but that does not make any different...
Help me to understand this, please.
    Best regards from Norway
    Stig

Thanks for getting back to me so fast, and knowing exactly what I ask for .
So what I have learned is:  Windows DVD maker is a program that does the same thing as encore, but of course a smaller program.I have made menues in encore, but I did not know that it also made proper DVD files. Is it easyer from DVDmaker (if no chapter)? (it took me about 6-7 hours burning in W DVDmaker for 1 hours movie)
One more thing, please. I also try to burn from PRpro using the "Match the sequens setting" button. ( I use an AVCHD 1080i setting, square pixel, Frame size: 1920 x 1080) Is this compatible with DVD burning?
Is it right to choose this setting when burning? The reason I choose "Match the sequens setting", is because I get a larger file (twice as big), then in MPEG mode. I am then thinking... bigger file, better picture quality on TV. (?)
When I sit here now, I try to make dynemic link to encore. It is ok, but Encore tells me that the Transcode settings are 720X 480 (in new project window in startup encore). This is not an HD setting, and is not an 1920 x 1080 like I have in premiere Pro.
Hope you will help me again.
    Best regards
    Stig

  • Exporting media creates two files.

I am trying to export an AVC HD video file I imported off my video camera and edited. I go to File >> Export >> Media and select MPEG2 Blue-ray as that is the HD format I want to export the file into and later burn to a disk. It says it is going to export the file as an .m2v file, which it does just fine. However, it also creates a second .wav file for the videos sound. The video file does not have any sound in it at all. I looked through the settings on Premiere Pro to see if there was some setting that was causing this. I did not find anything.
Hopefully someone has a fix for this.
    Thanks
    Sean

If you want a muxed file, you will need to also set the multiplexing in the Multiplexing tab. What is it set to now?
    Good luck,

  • Export PDF creates 0kb file and Print Error.

By "Print Error", I mean a simple pop-up window with the pages logo and the sentence "Print. Error while printing" even though I haven't asked for anything to be printed. The resulting pdf file is zero k in size and useless.
I had this problem in iW '06 and thought that '08 might fix it. No dice though.
Deleating prefs did not fix the issue. ['06 or '08]
    Anyone? Thanks.

I suspect that you've turned off a couple fonts with Font Book (or perhaps removed them from the Fonts folder). Pages expects certain fonts to exist - even if we don't use them or even want them.

  • Using PSE9 as editor in iPhoto - Creates duplicate file

Am new to PSE 9.  In iPhoto 9, I have selected PSE9 as the editor.  After making any changes to a photo I am working on, it creates a duplicate thumbnail, file in iPhoto.  Following instructions from an Apple Discussion thread, it is only supposed to update the existing file in iPhoto, not create a duplicate.  Please advise.  Thanks.

Have iPhoto 11.  Have PSE as editor in iPhoto, which takes me right into PSE9.  Am doing a Save, and not Save As.  I do get a pop up window giving me JPEG save options, which I have Standard selected.  Thanks.

  • Creating a file to be used by report ROIUH_LOAD_JEINTF for journal entry

    Hello everyone,
My doubt is related to the PRA module -
I have to create a file to be used by program ROiUH_LOAD_JEINTF for journal entry creation. There are other programs also creating a similar file to what I am expected to create.
When I observe the existing programs, they have not used OPEN DATASET statement, instead directly used the TRANSFER dataset and then CLOSE DATASET.
What that does is it creates a file on the app server in a different format with only 1 line even if there may be like 10 lines of journal entry. The file mainly contains # which seems like some internal coding by the system.
When I tried using the OPEN DATASET statement, it wrote all the lines to the app server that were there in my internal table.
However, when I do not use the OPEN DATASET statement, it creates a file with just one line and maily # instead of the actual data from internal table.
Can any one explain what difference does it make to the system when we do not use the OPEN DATASET statement.
You help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Shipra.

    Hello Satish,
    Thank you for your response.
I think I was not clear enough about my doubt. I do not have any confusion about what OPEN DATASET would do.
In my case, there is a file being written to the app server without using an OPEN DATASET for OUTPUT statement. The Z program directly calls a TRANSFER statement.
The file that is created on the app server looks like:
    7042008-11-01                   000200100840 ######RD##################203               #### #####10012888                #####RI01            MC3
This file is used by the program ROIUH_LOAD_JEINTF. There are several lines in the internal table for Journal Entry creation but only 1 line shows in the file. However, when you debug the program ROIUH_LOAD_JEINTF with the above filename, you would see that it takes up all the JE lines that were passed from the previous program (the Z program) which created this file.
However, when I changed the Z program to have an OPEN DATASET statement, it had all the lines displayed in the file, the file was very readable.
I just wanted to know how does the system write to app server when no OPEN DATASET statement is written in the program.
Hope I am clear this time. Thanks again.
    Regards,
    Shipra.

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to export all my data that are rendered in a jsp file to a PDF file in ALBPM
i.e I want all my data that are there in jsp page, onclick of a button all those data will be printed/posted on a pdf file with a specified file name.

I have used the iText java library to create PDF files in ALBPM 5.7 and OBPM 10gr3. There is a bit of cut and paste programming involved, but it worked out great for us.
    http://itextpdf.com/
Here is a short code snippet (about 150 lines) so you can see what kind of code would be required
        IText.Com.Lowagie.Text.Font bold20 = IText.Com.Lowagie.Text.Font(IText.Com.Lowagie.Text.Font.HELVETICA, 20,

    Hi ,
Use this abap code .this will create a file in AL11 that you can use .
    data: d_msg_text(50),
          v_string(20000) type c,
          v_filename type rlgrap-filename,
******Create a file on app server
    concatenate '<directory name present in AL11 case sensitive>' ' filename.CSV' into v_filename .
    condense v_filename no-gaps .
open dataset v_filename for output in text mode
    encoding default message d_msg_text.
    if sy-subrc ne 0.
write: 'File cannot be opened. Reason:', d_msg_text.
      exit.
    endif.
    ****Header for file
concatenate 'information you want to write in file like header etc ' into v_string separated by '|'.
    transfer v_string to v_filename.
*****Write data into file by looping an internal table
    loop at  <internal table > assigning <work area>.
      concatenate      <work area>-field name1   <work area>-field name2    into v_string separated by '|' .
      transfer v_string to v_filename.
    endloop.
    close dataset v_filename.
