Using HAIP to bond  multiple links

Is it possible to use the Oracle HAIP feature to bond multiple network links between Active and Standby database ?
Does this require a seperate license ?
Basically, I was looking for a solution for bonding the muliple WAN links that we have between the active and Standby database.
Any help will be appreciated.

How about the Multilink Frame Relay setup. Please see link below for more detailed information. On this setup there is possibility to bundle nxE1's to be a same link and then if needed run e.g. different VRF's over multiple E1 links.

  • How can I save multiple links using the "save link as" function?

    I'm trying to save about 300 pdf files. The link to each one is listed ona website. To save each one I'm right clicking on the link, selecting "save link as" and repeat.
    How can I select multiple links and save them?

    Actually you can save multiple page pdf's in elements.
    Try something like this:
    (This is easier if you have the project bin open)
    1. Select the first page
    2. Right click on that page in the project bin and choose Add Blank Page or as many pages as you need.
    3. Use the move tool and drag your pages down into the blank pages in the project bin
    4 Then File>Save As>Acrobat.PDF

  • Oracle RAC new feature for interconnect configuration HAIP vs BONDING

    Hi All:
    I would like to get some opinion about using Oracle HAIP (High Avalibilty IP) for configuring the RAC interconnect vs using network interface bonding.
    This seems to be a new feature for Oracle GI from 11.2.0.2 and later. Have anyone had any experience for using HAIP and any issues?
    Thanks

    Hi
    Multiple private network adapters can be defined either during the installation phase or afterward using the oifcfg.Grid Infrastructure can activate a maximum of four private network adapters at a time. With HAIP, by default, interconnect traffic will be load balanced across all active interconnect interfaces, and corresponding HAIP address will be failed over transparently to other adapters if one fails or becomes non-communicative.
    it is quite helpful in following scenarios
    1) if one private network adapterrs fails, virtual private IP on that adapter would be relocated to healthy adapter.

  • Return multiple links (href)

    Hi,
    I am customizing a software application using Stored Procedure and XML to display information on multiple links (a href tag). My scenario is as follows.
    I am accepting SP parameters and returning reference cursor for 1 or more records (depending on the condition). I am wondering how I can use multiple link values based on each record unique value (ID etc).
    Can I test result of reference cursor using IDE (PL/SQL developer, Oracle sql developer).
    My stored procedure works fine without links.
    PROCEDURE GetLinkValues (
    resultData OUT SYS_REFCURSOR
    ) AS
    BEGIN
    OPEN resultData FOR
    select
    id, name, '<a href GetDetails.dll' a.id || '</a>' as MultipleLinks
    from Test
    where {Filter Recrods}
    END GetLinkValues;
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

    The calling program must set this flag, not your search-help.
    On a select-option field, don't press F4 but the yellow arrow right, the multiple line selection screen is displayed, there you press the "multi-selection" box.

  • Multiple link of the same document

    1.I heard that when I buy a windows server, there comes also a free edition/foundation edition of sharepoint. Is it right?
    2. When I upload a document to the free edition of sharepoint, is there any position for me also to enter the metadata of the document to facilitate future searching of the document? Please show me some screenshots.
    3. Under ambiguous circumstances where a document can be put into two locations/folders, people suggest to set a multiple link to this document, so that when I click the link inside either one of the folders, I can get the same document. It means there is
    no need to upload the same document to both folders. It is not simply a normal shortcut which we usually come across in window explorer. Can Sharepoint do this?

    1. Yes, it's called SharePoint Foundation Server.
    2. Of course, this is a core functionality of SharePoint. See
    https://www.google.nl/search?q=sharepoint+document+library+metadata+screenshot&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=d9nIU6usNofGPNG6gPAF&ved=0CB8QsAQ&biw=1400&bih=748 for screenshots.
    3. No, although you can use the document id service to generate a permanent link and use that link in a metadata field to refer to the source doc. Not in the free version, though

  • How do I create an iView with multiple links to R/3 transactions

    Hello Portal developers,
    I'm looking for a solution for displaying multiple links on a single iView or Page.  The requirement is calling for several SAP Transactions and a link to an external web application from a single view.  Could or should this be done using KM Navigation iView, or creating separate iViews for each link and placing them in a page?
    Thank you for your recommendations.

    Hi Terry,
    Are the SAP Transactions fixed ?
    I mean have you fixed that only these many transactions have to be displayed ?
    If yes, better option would be to create separate iviews for each and assign these to the "Related Links" or "Dynamic Navigation" of a page.
    IF no, that means, you want the user shall enter the transaction code and that transaction should open up in iview, then ofcourse you cant go in for the above solution.
    Thanks,
    Samta

  • Multiple links in a pdf document

    i have a pdf document that is viewed online and has multiple links to it. I would like the customer to click the link and 2 things to happen. 1. a web page opens, and 2. a sepearte pdf opens so that when you close the pdf, the web page is the active document. I want this to all happen in  new tab in the browser theyre using. I dont know much about javascript but any help as to why i cant get the links to open properley or the documents opening in new windows instead of tabs would be greatley appreciated.

    Depending on what other text you might have, you could use the data list component.
    To get the text to have underlines, you will need to edit the repeated item. You can also adjust colors and fonts as well. The default rollover and selected states will probably not be the UI that want, so make sure you change those as well.
    Now for the interactivity, select the datalist, and use the interactions panel, choose "On Select", then "Go To Url", the trick is to make sure the "When a specific item is selected" is also set. Here are the basic settings to get your links working:
    Add new interactions for each item you want to be functional.

    You need to differentiate the navigation cases using from-outcome or from-action. You now say to JSF roughly: If the from view id is "maintenance.jsp" then you should go to "page1.jsp" AND "page2.jsp" AND "page3.jsp". This isn't going to work, you should tell JSF roughly: If the from view id is "maintenance.jsp" AND the outcome is "page1" then you should go to "page1.jsp" and so on. You can also just leave away the from-view-id and use from-outcome and/or from-action only, as I suggested before. This way you can go everything from everything: If the outcome is "page1" then you should go to "page1.jsp".
    E.g.<h:commandLink action="page1">
    <navigation-rule>
        <navigation-case>
            <from-outcome>page1</from-outcome>
            <to-view-id>page1.jsp</to-view-id>
        </navigation-case>
        <navigation-case>
            <from-outcome>page2</from-outcome>
            <to-view-id>page2.jsp</to-view-id>
        </navigation-case>
        ... (etc)
    </navigation-rule>Edited by: BalusC on 28-apr-2009 11:20 (sorry, a typo in the navigation cases)

  • Creating multiple links from one map image in Flash CS4

    I have been tasked with creating multiple links from one map image using flash. Each link would go to the main website page with that location. I assume I could create a button for each location on the map but not having a lot of experience any help / tutorial you know of would be super helpful.. Thanks! Not looking for someone to work me thru it but a little guidance would be great!

    If I was to answer the problem, I would be giving you what you asked not to be given... the solution.  So I'll suggest that you start by researching the getURL() function.  That is what AS2 uses for opening web pages.
    As for coding a button, I'll recommend the following article for you... it will explain the proper approach to coding a button, which will give you an advantage over others who don't follow it, but instead use the way the article says not to.
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/as_bestpractices_04.html
    Google is one of the best resources available for learning how to do things with Flash--it's the first place I go when I have a wondering.  In general, if you type in the right keywords, you get fairly good search results.  In your case, combinations of "AS2", "button", "getURL", "tutorial" would probably work well.

  • Safari adds multiple links to read later list

    Whenever I click add to reading list it adds multiple links of the same one. Then the old one eventually gets replaced by the newest reading list which is added. When I click clear all the screen that says click to add to reading list appears and still has the old reading list links in the background. I have tried restarting Safari, emptying cache, clearing history, and restarting the computer and its still there.

    It was not a problem with Safari. It was my not having their second level security url in my Preferences. Once they gave it to me, I set it in my 'always allow' cookies settings. That allowed me access to all secure sites.
    I'm still having to use Firefox until they resolve their known issue with Safari.
    The software tech I worked with is not a Mac person so he had to consult with his Mac software developer to get the issue resolved. I told him there are a lot of us (Mac users) out here and they're going to have to include us in their plans. There are also PC folks out there with an iPhone using Safari.

  • Can I add multiple linked documents to an existing project?

    Can I add multiple linked documents to an existing project without breaking the project?
    The project I'm working on is due to go live in just a little over a month. I've recently acquired some training materials that contain information that needs to be merged into the help file. The problem is that there is not enough time to do it, get it reviewed, and so on.
    So I had this idea of linking to the Word docs (there are 3) for now, then cleaning things up as we go along.
    Is that a stupid idea this late in the game?
    Would it be better to create a separate help file with just those docs and then merge the projects into a master project?
    I am using RoboHelp 9 and Word 2010.

    I don't think the idea in itself is silly but I think there might be a nicer solution.
    Link the documents to a new project. How is described on my site. Alternatively import them.
    Once you have got the topics looking how you want, then import them into your main project. You then have the topics ready to edit later on but for now they can go as they are.
    Backup your main project before you start the import so that you can backtrack if you want to.
    The TOC will not come in automatically this way but you'll likely want to add the new stuff manually anyway. Alternatively you can import the TOC and then append it.

  • Multiple Link Colors

    Hi, I am quite new to Dreamweaver, and this is the 1st time I've joined a forum. I would like to have multiple link colors on the same page, within the same section (the main body) of a document. I went to some tutorials to learn how to make different sections have different link colors (i.e. navigation bar vs main body), but I cant find any instruction on how to make some of the links in the same section of the doc use different link colors.  I have set up default link colors for the main body of the docs, and separate link colors for the nav bar. Then I tried to set up a 3rd link color to use when I dont want the default link color in the main body, but that doesnt seem to work.
    Also, once I've figured this out, can the stylesheet with these link rule colors be attached to a template, and it will update any existing pages already made off that template?
    Thank you so much for any help anyone can provide.

    This is very straightforward with CSS if you understand the basic concepts.
    I'm not sure how familiar you are with CSS but, as a first step, are you able to follow this tutorial?:

    If you find yourself struggling, please post a link to your site as it stands.

    Hi Jeff,
    I'm beginning to develop a strong dislike for this forum's new interface!!
    But that's not your fault.
    The tables below use a VLOOKUP formula to retrieve the prices from the Current Pricing, and an IF statement in E1 to determine which column the prices are fetched from.
    The added column isn't necessary; it was just simpler t do that than to go through the hassle of re-merging the single cell in Row 1. With a change of the cell reference in the VLOOKUP formula, the first formula can be placed anywhere convenient.
    In E1:
    =IF(LEFT(A1,1)="I",2,3)
    The result of this formula tells VLOOKUP to return the results from column 2 or 3 of the Current Pricing table, depending on the first letter of the text in A1 being an "I".
    In C3 and Filled Down:
    =IF(B>0,VLOOKUP(A,Current Pricing :: $A:$C,$E$1,FALSE),"")
    IF is used to return a null string unless there is a value greater than zero in column B.
    Looks for the item listed in Column A and returns the value from the row where that item is found and the column specified in E1.
    The error triangle in C9 is a "VLOOKUP cannot find.." error cause by the value '3” screws (25lb box)' not being found in column A of Current Pricing.
    The error triangle in D9 is "There is an error in C9".
    Regard,
    Barry
    PS: The line at the beginning?
    I had complete all but the last line of a previous version of this post, and was deleting the '3" screws..." bit which had pasted as a single cell unnamed table, when the software bumped me back to the previous thread in this community. Not the first time this has happened, and in this case, as in the ones before, there appeared to be no route back to my partly completed message. So it was start over time. (/rant)
