Using HipServ app to enable 3GS access of Mediashare pro acct
Not sure on the solution. Mediashare support acknowledged that this is the correct app to use but nothing else. I didn't have the iPhone when I setup the acct in Sept. My subscription doesn't expire until 9/2/2012 so I know that's not an issue preventing my mobile access. HipServ has no tech support to speak of and I'm still waiting on a response from someone there. I have a phone appt this eve with apple support express, but since I'm hearing impaired, I hoped it was possible to resolve this sooner through e-mail.
Any suggestions, ideas are appreciated.

Have you tried deleting a message from the phone to see what happens?
My similar issue is that after the iphone checks gmail POP, mail.app doesn't retrieve the emails. The emails are still marked unread at www.gmail.com.
I also want to be able to access my emails from different devices. I look forward to hearing solutions.

Using the App Server DAS to access "my" MBeans on cluster servers
I am wanting to use JMX to access some custom MBeans that are on server instances that are participating in app server clusters. I figured the way to do this is by connecting to the DAS, but the service groups don't show within the DAS (like when using JConsole), I can access other AMX services, but not my custom ones. I can access my MBeans if I directly connect to the app servers.
Any ideas? I am trying to keep my jmx client from having to know physical location of the clustered servers, and only knowing about the DAS.

HT4759 How to use mail.app in Leopard to access iCloud mail account
Mail.app stopped downloading new mail from my MobileMe account. I had transferred it all to iCloud as instructed, but since I had seen no instructions on changing anything in Mail.app (I'm running Leopard), I thought things should still just work.
I got the new IMAP server name (imap.mail.me.com) from this site, and pasted it into the account information for the MobileMe account in Mail.app, and saved it. The account still could not connect. I checked the settings and found that Mail.app had changed the server back to mail.mac.com. It has done this several times as I've tried to change the server.
Now what? I'm about ready to look for an XML file to edit.

How do I hear music on my iPad and iPod. I can see library and control from these devices but no sound on either?
I have an ancient LG 32" and a Thunderbolt/miniport-HDMI adapter that I bought from monoprice. I go through my Denon receiver through one of the HMDI ports and get sound and video on my TV. This is the one I bought - it carries audio and video and is under $7.

Signing in again and again to use CC apps
Recently Adobe continually asks me to sign in when I use an app and in the case of Acrobat Pro asks me to sign in to use the "trial version". All this since Adobe was hackedand I changes my Adobe password. It is frustrating and without purpose. What is going on?

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device (iPhone) using debug build. When running with a release build, the result handler is never called (nor is the fault handler called). Viewing the BlazeDS logs in debug mode, the call is received and send back with data. I've narrowed it down to what seems to be a data size issue.
I have targeted one specific data call that returns in the String value a string length of 44kb, which fails in the release build (result or fault handler never called), but the result handler is called as expected in debug build. When I do not populate the String value (in server side Java code) on the object (just set it empty string), the result handler is then called, and the object is returned (release build).
The custom object being returned in the call is a very a simple object, with getters/setters for simple types boolean, int, String, and one org.23c.dom.Document type. This same object type is used on other other RemoteObject calls (different data) and works fine (release and debug builds). I originally was returning as a Document, but, just to make sure this wasn't the problem, changed the value to be returned to a String, just to rule out XML/Dom issues in serialization.
I don't understand 1) why the release build vs. debug build behavior is different for a RemoteObject call, 2) why the calls work in debug build when sending over a somewhat large (but, not unreasonable) amount of data in a String object, but not in release build.
I have't tried to find out exactly where the failure point in size is, but, not sure that's even relevant, since 44kb isn't an unreasonable size to expect.
By turning on the Debug mode in BlazeDS, I can see the object and it's attributes being serialized and everything looks good there. The calls are received and processed appropriately in BlazeDS for both debug and release build testing.
Anyone have an idea on other things to try to debug/resolve this?
Platform testing is BlazeDS 4, Flashbuilder 4.7, Websphere 8 server, iPhone (iOS 7.1.2). Tried using multiple Flex SDK's 4.12 to the latest 4.13, with no change in behavior.

The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me. -
Yesterday double clicked home button and all of my apps disappeared; cannot shut off i-pad, and syncing it does not restore apps or enable me to use it again. Help!

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Downgrading the iOS is not supported, and likely has caused the problems you are experiencing.

I am trying to access my calender in the app Planner Plus and I get the message. "This app does not have access to your calendars." You can enable access in Privacy Settings. But when I go to Privacy Settings, there are no apps listed under Calendar. Anyone?

After allowing the changes, I just had to open the apps again (such as Instagram), then the pop-up asking to allow access to Photos appeared!
And I thought I was going to get rid of my iPhone 4 already because of the issue. -

I'm trying to add "Alfred 2" and "ImageOptim" to the list of apps that have their access enabled, but when I drag these apps in to the list nothing happens. (This is after I have unlocked the tab to enable changes).
Any idea on how to add these apps?By access enabled do you mean to allow incoming connections for those two apps? If so then you can add them in the System/Security & Privacy/Firewall Options pane:

I have a US iPhone 3GS made in 2011. Now in the Philippines I had it unlocked. Now Internet is turned off and no technician can turn it on. I can only use Internet when I have WiFi access. Any ideas?

If it was not unlocked by AT&T, then it was hacked. Hacked and jailbroken phones can not be discussed here per the TOS. -
How do you disable the "Connect to iTunes to Enable Push Notifications" prompt when opening apps on an iPad (OS7)? The message is completely annoying and there is no way to cancel it. You must click on "OK" to use the app. I have already disabled notifications on those apps in the Notification Center.
The best way to do this is to leave all files unchanged, but render the file containing that horrendous bird noise unreadable to the system. Open a terminal window, and paste this command:
sudo chmod 000 /System/Library/Frameworks/Social.framework/XPCServices/com.apple.twitter.xpc/C ontents/Resources/TwitterSent.caf
That's it. Your Tweets should hereinafter be silent unless you change TwitterSent.caf's permissions again.
