Using HP printers in bureau - problem with drivers

Dear Sir or Madam.
Some time ago I bought for an office a few HP printers.
Desiring to install the drivers, however, I came across a rather amazing to me the entry in the license agreement:
 You may not rent, lease or lend the Software Product or use the Software Product for commercial timesharing or bureau use

Does this mean that I can not use the drivers and / or software included with the printer in the company/bureau for which it was purchased?

I have exactly the same problem with the same laptop that I bought a year ago too... It's frustrating and that's the reason I registered to HP Forums... I've been trying to update to Windows 8.1 for half a year and I always have this frustrating problem. I've tried too what BraveToBe did, aaand guess what... I had the exact same result. I've used the recovery partition multiple times to go back at Windows 8 but NOW Microsoft is FORCING US to update to Windows 8.1. Actually Windows 8 update at their own after a period to Windows 8.1. So I have two questions:
1) Are we getting any support from HP, any new drivers or anything to solve this problem?
2) If I format Partition C (only C, not D → Recovery) so as to use Windows 7 instead of 8, am I going to be able to use (with Windows 7 loaded) the recovery partition so as to upgrade to Windows 8 later, if I want to? If I downgrade (by formatting) to Windows 7 will I have a boot screen (press ## to enter BIOS) so as to be able to access the BIOS? With Windows 8 we have no boot screen. If we want to access BIOS on Windows 8, we have to choose to boot with advanced settings after Windows has loaded.

    You can use the W7 x64 drivers from the 250 G2 support page.  They have the 32 bit driver files too.
    That would be for all but the graphics if your G2 has a Pentium or Celeron processor.
    If your notebook has one of those processors, then download, unzip and run the graphics driver setup exe file from the link below.

    This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

    This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
    The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.

    Hey i'm have big problem with some drivers or rather their absence.
    I can't find correct drviers for:
    1. Unknown Device
    2. PCI Device
    3. Bluetooth Controller

    I also have an ask is that possible to permanently turn off integrated gpu Intel HD 4000 and pick Radeon HD 7600series as default?

    THe PCI device needs the Realtek Card Reader driver installed.
    Currently there is no fix for the BT not working. No one I know of has found a resolution to the problem.
    Hopefully, a driver update is in the works.
    I would need the hardware ID for the unknown device to let you know what driver you need.

    Your switchable graphics is dynamic which means you cannot set the RADEON 7670M as the default graphics adapter.

    I own a HP n006 sv 15.I bought it 1 year ago and before a couple of weeks i decided to upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.After a few hours of updating (Windows update),i saw that my Intel HD Graphics Family doesnt appear anywhere at all (Right clicking to the Desktop.I tried to enter in screen resolution-->advanced settings but i saw only 3 options there which they were Adapter,Monitor,Colour Management).After a few hours of research in HP forum/tom's hardware etc ,i decided to full unistall my AMD Radeon HD 8670m drivers.I spent like 4 days with multiply crashes and restores and i cant find proper drivers.
    Also,i would like to mention that i tried a few drivers which they didnt help at all.I tried to play a game and my fps was like 1-5.If i use Window mode or boardless mode,my fps was like 80-120 (with proper settings maximize perfomance everywhere,changing msconfig and all that stuff.)
    Before 1-2 hours ,i installed a couple of programs to find the newest drivers.I donwloaded drivers which look like amd-catalyst-14-9-win7-win8.1-64bit-dd-ccc.I m able to see CCC/Intel Graphics control panel when i m right-clicking but FPS inside the game is terrible.
    Last but not least,i downloaded even the ''suggested'' (proper drivers) from HP site,since i gave the correct info about my laptop (name + E9L85EA#AB7 p.n) but even though,i figured out that those drivers never ''been used'' (from device manager i wasnt able to roll back or neither the driver's date changed)
    I will be glad if someone helps me to find the proper drivers/infos about what to do.

  • G550 optical drives - problem with drivers

    I have a problem with optical drive in G550. Drive is DS8A4S from LITE ON. There is no driver for windows 7. Anyone help me?

    Since it is a fresh install, the only drivers that are installed are the ones that came on the Windows XP SP2 CD and the JMicron RAID drivers that I slipstreamed in.  However, the directory structure and instructions for use weren't very clear in the .zip file that the RAID drivers came in.  It says:
    "For floppy install:
    Please copy all the directories and files in the "floppy" folder to the root directory of a floppy disk to create a pre-install disk for Win2K/WinXP/Win2003/WinXP 64bits/Win2003 64bits.
    For example,
    A:\amd64
    \x32
    txtsetup.oem"
    Well, my power supply does not have a connector for a floppy drive, which is why I was installing the RAID drivers with a slipstreamed XP CD.  However, in the actual .zip file, there is no "floppy" folder!  There are 4 subdirectories:  Application, Driver, Floppy32 and Floppy64.  The Driver directory has 2 subdirectories:  amd64 and x32.  I didn't understand whether I was supposed to use the files in the Driver/x32 folder, or the ones in the Floppy32 folder. 
    I ended up slipstreaming the files from the Floppy32 folder because it seemed to make the most sense according to the instructions.  However, I noticed both in nLite and when Windows was actually preparing setup that multiple RAID drivers were found in and loaded from this directory, whereas in the Driver/x32 folder, nLite detected only one set of RAID drivers.  Did I use the wrong directory to get the JMicron RAID drivers when I made the slipstreamed XP CD?  Or do you think there is a different problem?

  • Satellite U200-141: problem with drivers after Vista installation

    Hello everyone,
    I've just installed Windows Vista and I'm having some problems:
    1. Hotkeys don't work (Fn + F1, f2, f3 etc... doesn't work at all).
    2. Touchpad - I've aleady installed he driver listed under Vista but although I can use the touchpad normally when pointing, clicking, etc, I can't scroll. By this I mean I can't set up the scrolling region (it used to be the right corner to scroll vertically and the bottom to scroll horizontally). I've checked the autoscroll options on IE and Firefox, and it doesn't work even there.
    3. I don't seem to be able to instal the new BIOS.
    4. The internet, play, pause, stop, etc, buttons (incorporated) don't work either.
    5. I have the product recovery CD but it's for Windows XP and I don't know how to install the drivers from there.
    I'd appreciate any help anyone could provide.

    1. It will work with Toshiba designed tools and utilities only (designed for Vista at the moment not available)
    2. You need Toshiba driver for that
    3. Can not tell you much about that. I hope you have tried 3.30-WIN version
    4. It will also works with Toshiba Controls only (Vista version)
    5. You can not install drivers from recovery image. If you need drivers for WXP you can find it on Toshiba download page

    Specs are as follows:
    MOTHERBOARD: MSI P35 PLATINUM
    CPU: Intel CORE 2 DUO 6750 2.66 GHz 4MB
    RAM: 4GB (4x1GB) DDR2 800 KINSGTON
    PSU: QTEC 500W BIG FAN
    VIDEO: MSI RX1650PRO TD256EZ PCIe
    MONITORS: SONY 17" X-BLACK
    DRIVES: 150GB WD HD 10.000RPM and LG 18x DVD-RW
    OS: Fresh install of WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE
    PROBLEM:
    When using the original MSI drivers it works, only the catalistic utility does not work. When installing the ATI Catalyst drivers 7.5 to 7.10, the screen becomes corrupt when Vista gets to the log in screen, colored lines, dots, etc.
    Does ATI don't support anymore the 1650PRO card? Why the catalystic software can't work with this card?

  • When I use FF 4 I have problem with my Intranet user interface, I lost the ability to acces my intranet database? So for now I go back to previous version. I hope that kind of problem can be fix soon.

    I usually use FF 3.6 version to download data from my company intranet. With old FF version I can access the intranet easily. But when I upgrade to the FF 4, I lost the ability to customize the variable data I want to collect. It kind of stuck. Usually when I right click I have option what to do. with the new version my option is none. nothing change. It's frustrating. So now, I go back to previous version. You said previous version is vulnerable to phishing or virus or something but still it user friendly for me to access my company data. Please fix that bug and I'll upgrade to the newest version.

    I want to add my progress about this problem. I find this problem in IE 9, but it has compatibility view, though not too perfect but quite helpful. Whereas FF 4, from article in support, said it doesn't have one. So, I beg you FF team to accommodate us who still deal with old web design so we still can use this FF 4. Please..please..please. I still believe Firefox is the best browser and I hope FF team also responsive about current problem. I think I don't have any option, but to downgrade FF to 3.6 until someone tell me how to deal with this kind of problem. Thanks.

  • Problems with drivers and Windows after restoring

    Hey All,  I hope you can help because I have myself a confusing problem.
    I have a Satellite A500 series laptop running Windows 7 Premium.
    I recently had a hard drive fail.  I have replaced the hard drive and used the restore/recovery disks provided to me by Toshiba. 
    My problem is, during the recovery I am informed that two drivers do not have the necessary Digital Signatures. These are the Realtek RTL9191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC and the TOSHIBA Firmware 64 bit Drivers. 
    Once recover was complete I tried to use the computer and had several issues that may be connected:
    1.  I cannot get any Microsoft updates- which includes any of the troubleshooting options etc.  Apparently the service is not running.  Even if I got to the website I can't get anything.
    2.  My Microsoft Office produce key code (printed on the botton of my laptop) is "incorrect"
    3.  My wireless will not work because there is no digital signature validation (code 52) 
    I know my wireless if functional because if I press F8 during boot up I get the option to ignore signature validations and can get on the internet.  From there I did download and install an updated driver from the TOSHIBA website, which had no effect (I got the same error, even after uninstalling the other driver).  Even while ignoring signatures I cannot update windows or use any of the computers troubleshooting or assistance.
    I have tried restoring a second time to no avail (got the exact same errors).  Any suggestions to getting this computer back to "out of the box?"  Or at least functional enought I can surf the web and work on my Excel charts?

  • Problem with drivers/ sound stopping / vista32bit/ xfi fatal

    i have an xfi fatality, installed the latest drivers and since then, sound will stop at random times usually happens when i am pausing something on media player (videos) and it might come back when i reopen the video
    sometimes i will watch a video on firefox, and i might not get any sounds at all (sounds completely stop, not only per application)
    sound will come back, on its own, at random times. some times i need to restart
    i uninstalled the audio console, uninstalled the driver from system, and installed the previous version and i am still getting this problem (i wasnt getting it before)
    any solution

  • GF4 Ti4200 and Win98 - HELP ! serious problem with drivers !

    Ok, I could successfully install the MSI GF4 Ti4200 128 in Windows 2000, no problem there, everything is working.
    I then installed Win98 as a second OS, I launch the drivers setup (from MSI CD) and I reboot as wanted by the setup. The PC reboots, the Win98 screen appears and suddenly...it reboots by itself, no message, no black screen.  I tried with other driver versions from NVidia and this time, I get a freezed black screen after the Win98 screen, I must press reset.  I had to enter the safe-mode to remove the drivers and get the usual 640x480 in 16 colors.
    What's going on ? I tried to change my bios parameters, disable the virus detection option, everything that could make problems ... but no success. I also tried a second Win98 installation, with DX 8.1 installed before the drivers but still the same problem.
    My system is AMD XP 2100 with Asus A7V333 motherboard - 300W for power, is the problem caused by some VIA chips ? I tried with their 4-1 drivers and stuff on the CD but it really doesn't want to work.
    Please help...

    after searching a bit on the forum, I found a thread where someone pointed out a problem caused by memory, greets to him.  I have 1 gb of ram and I added these lines to my system.ini :

    DirectoryCache=96
    ConservativeSwapFileUsage=1
    Values may change with more/less memory...And now it works perfectly in Win98.
