Using iDVD with Premier Pro CS6

How is the output from PremierPro CS6 (as a 00000.MTS.MOV file) burnt to DVD using Apple's iDVD? Can this be done?

John's answer being true, if you want to use the currently exported file in some authoring software, you would ask that question of the authoring software, not the exporting software. Meaning go to the iDVD forums (or read it's Help file) to find out how that program works.

Using iDVD with premier 6.5

I am on a iMac 910.2.8) G4 power PC (memory 768mb 1ghz proccesor) and using Premier 6.5.
I am trying to burn my completed movie in iDVD 4 and am not having any luck.
Could anyone tell me if what i am trying to do is possible?
If I can do this on my machine is there an easy guide I could access?

Welcome to the discussions. I don't use Premiere but iDVD wants a DV Quicktime file which I am sure Premiere supports. You would need to export (I might guess a self-contained "movie") out of Premiere a Quicktime DV file and drop that file into iDVD. Don't know why that wouldn't work. Make sure your sequences are correct... probably PAL for the UK. Other than that.... we would need more details as to why it is not working? What type of file are you using? What version of iDVD? Does it simply not burn? And so on!

Does Encore come with Premier Pro CC?

Hi, I'm on the creative cloud and I have Premier Pro CC. I do not have Premier Pro CS6. I've heard that you get Encore with Premier Pro CS6, but I cannot find anything on it for Premier Pro CC. I use a Mac and I cannot find anything I've already downloaded that says Encore. I need to make a dvd, do I actually have Encore and just don't know it, and what recommendations do you guys have for my situation?

Encore is end of life, and stops at CS6. But you do have access to it with your CC subscription.

Premier pro cs6 artifacs

I just shot some footage with a panasonic camera that has worked well with premier pro cs6 before. This time I have artifacs (very noticable). On the same card, I have other footage and they are normal. I tried this same footage with Final Cut ProX and had no artifacs, I then tried it on my laptop, no artifacs on either the premier pro or the final cut pro X. I have tried to use other drives, have tried to put the AVCHD on one drive and the premier pro project on the other drive, no good. Can anyone help? Also noticed that the clips run normally in the source panel but, of course, not the program panel.

If you included some images of the problems, that would help a lot in getting replies to your post. Along with details of the computer specs for the machine that is giving you the problem.

Premier Pro CS6 not listed in Apps in Creative Cloud

I need Encore CS6, but that comes with Premier Pro CS6 and that is not listed my Apps panel of Creative Cloud.

Is your computer 64 bit?
Premiere Pro only installs and runs on 64 bit computers.
If your computer is 32 bit then you will not see Premiere Pro listed.

Prelude/Premier Pro CS6

Does Prelude come with Premier Pro CS6 package or do you have to buy it separately?

The older individual-program model was per each program, and I don't think Prelude was "bundled" with PrPro CS6. On the CC side, of course ... it's just one of many programs available.

Can This Laptop Be Used For Premier Pro CS6?

Developed an interest in learning to edit video but have become confused in reading all of the posts about what is the true minimum hardware requirement/setup, as compared to what is listed as System Requirements by Adobe. Probably best to start with my initial goals.
Here is what I was looking at doing as this journey begins:
Purchased Creative Suite 6 Production Premium Classroom in a Book(CIB) after reading a review it would be a better start than Premier Pro CIB, which I plan on getting, if one has no experience in this field. During research feel that I would like to become a subscriber to the Creative Cloud as there are a number of products I would like to learn and use. Basically, I am hopeful that I may use my current laptop for the beginning of my education and further down the road look at getting a more powerful system as knowledge/skills/requirements increase. Initial video I wouild like to work with is that received from family members smart phones and will be looking at purchasing a simple video camera for short interviews and brief presentantions. Will likely desire uploading some completed projects to the web.

If this laptop can be used with current hardware, I wouild sincerely appreciate any suggestions for how to best utilize what is available to begin learning Premier Pro CS6. As I will not have any time schedules that will have to be met I can accept that this may not be the ideal system. Just hoping it can be a start.

I had this setup for my old HP and have a caddy ready to install for my new Dell Precision as well. You can either get an external house for your DVD drive, or get an external one - they are quite cheap.

I am unable to capture using Matrox MXO2 LE with Preimere Pro CS6 and Windows 8

I have a Matrox MXO2 LE and trying to capture with Preimere Pro CS6. My OS is Windows 8 and it sees my Matrox Device via my device managers. No option comes up in CS6 to allow me to actually capture. I am a new beginner with both Matorx and Preimere so learning on the way.
Background Information:
I have a Datavideo SE 600 Switcher (SD) and it is connected to the Matrox. I am trying to capture into Preimere Pro so that we can make DVDs instanly after service, we are a church. I am able to capture using Adobe Live Media Encoder for Live streaming but not Preimere Pro CS6.

Check with Matrox... ask 2 things
1-do you have a device driver that is "certified" for PProCS6?
2-do you have a device driver that is "certified" for Windows 8?
The only NATIVE support in Premiere (any version) is Firewire

Will cs6 creative cloud work with Premier Pro?
