Using iPhone as external Keyboard for iPad?

I'm not a developer- but if I was this would be the Ap I would develop.
Folks are already used to using their iPhone keyboard.
Hit me back if anyone has this.

Not sure why you'd rather use your tiny iPhone keyboard over the nice big one on the ipad but there are at least a couple of iPhone apps that let it be the wireless keyboard for a Mac or Windows machine (over wifi). They probably won't work with the iPad, but I don't know. They all seem to cost something, so it wouldn't be free to find out.

No, if an app has it's own version of the keyboard then that version will only be available in that app - I havn't seen any Apple built-in keyboards where all keys are visible all of the time, probably because that would make the keyboard too big and/or the keys too small. I need to reprogram the delete and enter key to the left side of a external keyboard for the ipad mini. I don't need the caps/lock or ctrl key. Due to a brain injury my daughter can only use her left hand to type. She also uses a text to speech app to verbalize all of her needs since her speech isn't intelligible any longer either. And her vision was significantly affected also, so the keyboard has to be mounted about 6 inches from her face. So to reach across the keyboard with her left hand to the right side delete and enter button is physically difficult and causes typing errors, which cause people to not understand what shes trying to say.
The best keyboard so far is the Zagg folio mini. I just had to make stickers to enlarge the letters on the key buttons.
Does anyone know how I can reprogram these two keys? Or where I can buy a wireless mini keyboard for Ipad made for lefthanders with these two functions on the left side. I have searched for days and days. It's sooooo important to me that she be able to contribute her voice again. Imagine if you got in a car accident and couldn't speak clearly any longer, but understood everything still. Thanks for any help and suggestions you all take the time to share with me. I really appreciate the kindness of strangers to help me help my daughter.

The only game I know of that does this is "The Incident" - it's not a built-in iOS feature. The developers of that game specifically have allowed it.

No. But you can purchase the Camera Connection Kit that can be used to connect to a USB drive. However, to the iPad the drive is read-only, and not all USB drives will be recognized.

Also, more and more airlines are putting power ports in coach seat locations. I think they all have them in F/C or business class. You can buy a power port adaptor from Apple or other locations that will power your iPad from either an airline seat or a car with a power port.
