Using iPhone to back up/transfer all outlook folders

Hey all!
I'm upgrading from Vista to Windows7 and need to transfer my existing Outlook personal folders and calendar. If I sync before the install of Win7, making sure all the correct folders are checked beforehand, then sync again once I've installed Win7, will my Outlook calendar and personal folders transfer to my laptop from my iPhone?
I'm presuming not, though not sure if I'll be pleasantly surprised?!

In the NSS326 under backup, now click on remote replication and you can enable rysnc to alllow backups. Also at the bottom you can create jobs to replicate to another rsync server.

I did an erase of my HD & a new install of Snow Leopard. Had Leopard OS X 10.8 b4 (corrupted SBBD, freezes had to use Disk Warrior to fix file structure)
I tried Archive & Install 1st - but it failed. The plan was to fix Leopard 10.8 & once fixed update to Snow Leopard. “The Installer was unable to import your user directory from the previous system. You will need to create a new account.”
In any event now I sit with a fresh copy of Snow Leopard installed. I was unable to get Migration Assistant to see my Time Machine volume sitting on my new desktop & new Finder! I selected transfer data from TM or other external volume yet, only my Mac HD showed up. I wasted more time trying to get into time machine via Time Machine preferences. It kept wanting to back up my new system with a box that said tell me when erase old backups! I wasn't about to allow TM to back up new system till I selectively moved my stuff. I finally just opened the External TM volume & browsed & dragged my Documents, & other easy to move files to my New system.
I only discovered today that I could have right or control clicked TM & actually enter it. I still have it stopped from doing any backups so it is grayed out in the menu bar.
So I am NOT looking to transfer my Home folder or my old system (corruption danger).
I am slowly reinstalling all the apps I can find or have disks.
I am really hoping I need not do the mail in multiple steps by finding the Inbox in my last TM & restoring that & then on to Sent, etc.
So, I have yet to open the Mail in Snow Leopard which will be empty & want a way to restore my Leopard version of mail complete with everything from my TM backup. If I disconnect from the Internet b4 I launch restore mail & then connect hopefully all the new mail will be added to Inbox along with restored & I won’t need to manually drag anything.
Also, to restore an app can I just find the app in Apps folder & click restore? I only have a few I want to do that way such as the old version of iMovie HD 6 which is no longer available from Apple. (Yes, I still want both my ’08 version I bought & the older version sitting on My TM backup)

It should be pretty easy.
Open the Address Book. Click on the Time Machine icon. You will see a cascading address book display. Use the bar on the side to go back in time. When you have one before the problem, click restore.

Backup files are too big to email. Use FTP, DropBox, etc...

You do not need a new license. The license file will be found in /Library/Preferences/ and is named, com.microsoft.office.licensing.plist. Be sure it gets transferred and you will be fine. I see no reason why the file would not be in your Time Machine backup nor any reason why it would be restored.

1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

You should be able to copy all of your purchases (apps, music, films etc) from your current iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. As long as they remain available in the store then apps can be re-downloaded, music can be re-downloaded in some countries, and TV shows and films in fewer (and even where films can be re-downloaded not all film studios have agreed to it) - ringtones and audiobooks can't be re-downloaded.

In terms of the apps content and settings, then if you backup the phone to your computer's iTunes then you should be able to restore that backup onto your new phone : how to backup and restore. Passwords (email, router, website) won't be restored onto a different device so you will need to re-enter them on your new phone.
You can also copy photos off your current phone. Just in case the backup and restore doesn't work (it should but it's best to be safe), you may also want to copy any important documents off your current phone as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc.

Some apps do allow cloud storage, or syncing to the desktop and then to another device. You'd have to check your particular apps' developer's websites, or tell us which ones you need help with.

IPhone Calendar does not show all outlook events

I have an iPhone 4. On my iPhone calendar, random events will be missing. My Outlook, ipad, and even iPod will all show the events. I have deleted and recreated the exchange mail & calendar. There is even other iphones on my same server who do NOT have this issue. I can organize an event and it will show on their iPhone, however it will randomly choose not to show on mine. Out of 100 events a month, about 2-3 do not show. Please help!!

This is exactly what's happening to me. I've been able to recreate this on a Touch also with OS4. It's not occuring on OS3. I've only been able to recreate the problem on July 30th and August 1st calendar dates for some reason. It may be happening on other dates also but I havn't been able to find any.
To recreate the problem go into day view on the calendar. Go to August 1st and create a calendar entry. Then touch the left arrow to go back a day then touch the right arrow to return to august 1st and your entry is invisible. It's still there because if you go forward a day then go back a day it shows.
I've been using list view only now to avoid missing these invisible entries.

I reset my iphone, after backing it up, ALL my photo's are now blurry!

Having had problems with my iphone not blanking the screen when in calls. Which only began yesterday! I was searching online for an answer!
Having found a solution of trying resetting the iphone, i did this. Having backed up my iphone the previous night. So i did this, and then put my backup onto the phone. this did not resolve the problem, but i then relased it was prehaps the screen protector that i had put on the previous day.. concluision it was!!
But havng done this, i then went into my photo's and they were still downloading.. this took ALL night! So this morning, after waiting all night, they were there. They look fine on the first screen, but when i click to view the whole photo. They go blurry.
Im devistated these were all my photos from a trip to Manchester last weekend!!
So what do i do now?
I backed up to i-cloud not my computer.. and when i plug my phone into my laptop i cant access the photo's through this either! I also cant view any video's now!
This is really really frustrating!!!

What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

When buying a "used" iphone, does the warranty transfer with it?

Say a friend buys the new iphone for 199 with his upgrade.
He can then sell it to me for whatever he chooses and I can then register this with ATT with no issues correct?
Will the warranty transfer from him to me?
With as many problems as these iphones have, and obvsiously they are using cheaper products to manufacture them, the warranty is what im really concerned about.
Has ATT offered any kind of insurance on the iPhone yet?

To my knowledge, AT&T does not offer insurance for the iPhone. You can however obtain insurance for the iPhone from other insurance companies, such as State Farm.
The warranty already attached to the iPhone travels with the iPhone, no matter who owns it currently.
