Using Ipod and Itunes on more than one computer

I need to know how I can get my library onto my work computer? It seems that I'm only able to get my purchased music onto the itunes library but not my whole ipod library and all the play lists. Can't this be done?

  • I've just subscribed to CC, can I use Lr and PS on more than one computer?

I've downloaded CC on to my iMac but would also like to install it on my Windows 7 laptop.  Can I do this with one subscription (the basic £8.78 per month) or do I need to subscribe again?
    Thanks!

you're alllowed up to two concurrent activations.  you can install and activate on a third, but you'll need to deactivate on, at least, one other computer.

  • Can I load my Itune on more than one computer?

Can I have ITunes installed on more than one computer, and sync with I-Phone and IPAD2?  How do I keep the files the same on both computers?

you can authorize up to five computers you control for your iTunes store account.
you can use home sharing to keep the libraries on them in sync.
by design, iPhone and iPad can sync with only one library at a time.
however, you could consider Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

  • ITunes on more than one computer?

My boyfriend and I just got ipods. I had been using my home computer which unfortunately stopped working the other day (unrelated)
Anyways, I tried to use my ipod on my boyfriend's computer to charge and I thought I could load some of his songs to my ipod.
It ended up deleting all of the songs that were on mine and replaced them with his library. Is there any way that I can use more than one computer? Can I add songs from his library without losing the ones I have?
    Thanks.
    iPod Mini   Windows XP

You will have to have the Touch set to manually manage to do this.

  • ITunes on more than one computer - how??

iTunes tells me I'm registered on more than one computer, but I'm not aware of it!
    1) How do I find out which computers I'm on? I can't find where to go.
    2) How do I delete them if I don't want them?

There is no way to tell what specific computers are authorized. Apple can't track them...only count them.
You say you were unaware that you had two authorized. Have you perhaps replaced the hard drive in your computer? If so, that would count as a second one if you didn't deauthorize it before the hard drive replacement.

  • Using creative cloud programs in more than one computer

Can we install all the programs in more than one computer with creative cloud with the same monthly cost?

Yes, you can use Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers at once, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership. See the product license agreements page for more information

  • Use of same iTune for more than one iPod

I need to find out whether I can use the same itune in one computer for more than one iPod nano and one iPod video?

I looked at the article, but it doesn't help me know how once I have downloaded onto a nano, for example, the itunes knows that the next thing I connect is something different. My son hooked up his 20GB ipod last night after updating his sister's nano and now the itunes thinks his ipod is a nano. How do I get the itunes to recognize his ipod as the 20GB it is?

  • Can I use itunes on more than one computer?

Hello all, hoping you can help me.
I have itunes on an old ( and therefore very slow!) laptop. Hoping to get a new laptop soon, but can I just install itunes on this new one and use it with my ipod?
My ipod is set to update manually so I think it should be ok. Just don't want to do it before asking just in case I lose my music!
    Thanks.

You're welcome. One word of caution though if you are using an iPod that holds more than your computer and you want to fill it to capacity. If you delete songs from your PC and have no back up other than the iPod you will risk losing them permanently if your iPod fails or you find you have to restore it to solve a problem. You should consider investing in an external hard drive to store/back up your music. Alternatively at the very least back up songs you can't replace such as iTunes downloads to CD or DVD. Forum member Buegie has compiled a very extensive procedure for backing up your music which you'll find at this link: Backing up iTunes. Take care.

  • Using iTunes on more than one computer?

I set up my iTunes on a different computer, but i moved and no longer have access to that computer. how do i get my iTunes to work on the new iTunes?

iTunes: How to copy music between authorized computers
Though it refers to iTMS purchased music, it applies to all your tracks. And if you happen to also own an iPod:
How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
As to playlists, export them on your primary system and reimport on the new one.
As to sharing one iTunes library between accounts on a single system, see
iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer
Note that when it says "publicly accessible location", it needs to be a place where everyone has read and write access. The most common such place is the Shared folder in the Users folder.

  • Can you install itunes on more than one computer?

    Hi all,
I want to install the software for my first-generation ipod mini on my friend's computer, but I heard somewhere that you can only install the software on one computer and obviously I also want to be able to use it with my own computer as well. Can you install itunes software that comes with your ipod mini on as many computers as you want or only one?
    Many thanks,
    Samantha

Sure you can. But instead of using the (more than likely) outdated CD, see the iTunes Download Page

  • Can u download itunes onto more than one computer and then download music??

I have downloaded itunes onto another computer and it won't let me update my ipod, just keeps asking me if I want to replace the songs on my ipod with the songs from this library. Which I don't want to do, I instead want to add more songs and maybe remove some stuff on my ipod!!!!

  • Using Numbers and Pages on more than one account

I purchased Pages, Numbers and Keynote. I have three accounts setup on my Macbook Air (one for English, one for Korean and one for French). The applications only show up on the account where I purchased them.
How do get the applications to run from any of the three accounts?

If they appear only in one account, it's because you installed them in the Applications folder of this account.
To be able to use them from other accounts, you must move them into the global applications folder.
    As you wrote
I purchased Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
I'm not sure of what you really bought. Is it iWork as a whole or the three separated apps thru App Store ?
Buying iWork, the three apps would be in a subfolder:
    Macintosh HD:Users:<theUserAccount>:Applications:iWork '09
    Move them to
    Macintosh HD:Applications:iWork '09
If you bought in the App Store, I read a post stating that they are stored in :
    Macintosh HD:Users:<theUserAccount>:Applications:
I feel that it would be a good idea to move them in a subfolder as in the iWork case.
    Macintosh HD:Applications:iWork '09
Select the subfolder (or the three applications) to move them in a single operation.
So you will be asked for your password only once.
I explain for those which never bought on App Store. In this case, the system keep links to the exact location and require the administrator password before moving the app.

  • Using my adobe acrobat on more than one computer

I have adobe acrobat pro X1 on one lap top and I just want to check if I can upload it onto a second one. If so how do I do this?

You are allowed 2 installs for your use. The license (you just need to look at the EULA) indicates they should not be in use at the same time. The license should clarify things. As far as the installation, there are 2 activations permitted and after that you will get an error unless you deactivate one of the previous installations.
