Using ITS / IIS Error 404

We are using an Internet Transaction Server (ITS) for Web Ordering. Our logic
(SAP) builds a PDF file and gives it a src URL. However, the screen will not display for the PDF, the current screen only freezes. If I try to copy the src url into a web browser I get the HTTP 404 page cannot be found. We use  ITS as a platform for this processing. I am by no means an expert in this area and am trying to help our Basis person search for an
answer? Any suggestions?
                  Thank-You

The PDF document does not seem to be there
This means HTTP 404

    Now i try to put it in a KM Document iView. I set the path to  /documents/Test/Pictures/SAP.JPG. At first it works fine, but when i do it the second time i got "Error 404 Resource not Available" in the preview screen.
    I tested it a hundret times an i get every time error 404.
    I am new to Portal an. For Learning i use the Video 2 Brain tutorial. I do i exactly the way it is mentioned in the video but it dont works.

  • Error 404 when using the app

    For my app that is built using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0, I have a .jspx which has 3 page fragments (.jsff) built into it. I see the following error message whenever any buttons, including the out of the box, Search button, are clicked:
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
    The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
    I see this error message only when I deploy the EAR to DEV and TEST environments and I don't see this error on my local env, where I am deploying the EAR to Integrated WLS.
    WebLogic server logs don't give me any more info than:
    "Multiple forms detected on viewId: /SpecPages/CSTHistory.jspx. Rich client currently has some limitations in dealing with multiple forms."
    I didn't modify the page authorization (jazn-data.xml) for this .JSPX or the three .JSFF's I use so I am not sure why this error is popping up.

    I quickly added one jspx to test if it would help. However, the URL continues to display w/ the .jspx extension. Here is the updated xml file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <adfc-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller" version="1.2">

    <managed-bean-scope>request</managed-bean-scope>

    I have a total of 6 jspx and most of them have JSFF's and these jspx's are set up as navigation panes.

    first off , from the wired computer access the router using http://192.168.1.1 .. check the firmware version .. go to www.linksys.com/download and check the latest firmware available...if the router does not have the latest firmware , upgrade it first. .. after the firmware upgrade , reset and reconfigure the router
    if the router has the latest firmware , then reset the router for 30 seconds .. do a power cycle...access the router ui ..default password is admin..click on the "mac add clone" subtab , enable it and click clone....save the settings and do a power cycle..ensure that the wired computer is online
    on the router web ui , click on the wireless tab ..change the ssid - any non-linksys name , channel - 11 , security mode - wpa , beacon interval - 50 , fragmentation threshold - 2306 , RTS threshold - 2307 ..
    let me know if this helps you..

    Calling from a .dll using Java and JNI - by Borland Developer Support Staff
    Abstract:Basic JNI example: making a Win32 API call
    Making Native Windows API calls from within a Java Application
    One of the main points of Java is to be completely platform independent. However, sometimes it will occur that the developer of an
    application will know that his or her application is only going to be run on a specific platform, for example, Win32.
    NOTE: This example assumes that you are using JDK 1.2 or later.
    Below are the steps for writing a Java application that makes a Win32 API call. The application generates a Swing Jframe and makes it
    system modal, or gives it the Always On Top functionality, similar to that of the Windows NT Task Manager.
    Steps to follow:
    1. Write the Java code for the application
    2. Run javah.exe on your .class file to generate a C header file
    3. write the implementation of your native methods
    4. create the shared library
    5. run the application
    1. Write the Java code for the application
    import java.awt.*;
    import sun.awt.*;
    import sun.awt.windows.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    public class Frame1 extends JFrame {
    int windowHWND = 0;
    JButton jButton1 = new JButton();
    public Frame1() {
    //windowHWND = this.getHwnd();
    try {
    jbInit();
    catch(Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    public int getHwnd() {
    DrawingSurfaceInfo w = (DrawingSurfaceInfo) ((DrawingSurface) getPeer()).getDrawingSurfaceInfo();
    w.lock();
    WDrawingSurfaceInfo win32 = (WDrawingSurfaceInfo) w;
    int hwnd = win32.getHWnd();
    w.unlock();
    return hwnd;
    static {
    System.loadLibrary("windowOnTop");
    public static native void WindowAlwaysOnTop(int hwnd, boolean flag);
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    Frame1 frame11 = new Frame1();
    frame11.setSize(400,400);
    frame11.setVisible(true);
    private void jbInit() throws Exception {
    jButton1.setText("jButton1");
    this.addWindowListener(new java.awt.event.WindowAdapter() {
    public void windowOpened(WindowEvent e) {
    this_windowOpened(e);
    public void windowClosing(WindowEvent e) {
    this_windowClosing(e);
    this.getContentPane().add(jButton1, BorderLayout.NORTH);
    void this_windowOpened(WindowEvent e) {
    windowHWND = this.getHwnd();
    System.out.println("the value is: " + this.getHwnd());
    this.WindowAlwaysOnTop(windowHWND, true);
    void this_windowClosing(WindowEvent e) {
    System.exit(0);
    Once the code is written, compile it with Jbuilder or the command line javac.exe tool which will result in a generated .class file. You will use
    this .class file in the next step.
    2. Run javah.exe on your .class file to generate a C header file
    The following line represents the basic syntax for running javah.exe:
    javah Frame1
    where Frame1 is the name of the argument class.
    When you run javah.exe, it will generate a header file by the same name as your implementation but with a .h file extension. For this
    example the .h file that was generated from the above Java code will be emitted being that it is quite large.
    NOTE: Make sure that when you run javah.exe, it is the javah.exe that came with the same JDK that you will be compiling with as there may
    be some issues with using a version of javah.exe that is different from that of the JDK you are using to compile.
    3. write the implementation of your native methods
    Now that you have your Java source and your C header file, it is time to write the implementation of your native methods.
    Following is the C code that corresponds to the native methods declared in the Java code listed in step 1:
    #include "jni.h"
    #include "Frame1.h"
    #include <stdio.h>
    #include<windows.h>
    JNIEXPORT void JNICALL Java_Frame1_WindowAlwaysOnTop(JNIEnv *env, jclass obj, jint hwnd, jboolean flag)
    if (flag)
    SetWindowPos((HWND) hwnd,HWND_TOPMOST,0,0,0,0,SWP_NOMOVE|SWP_NOSIZE);
    else
    SetWindowPos((HWND) hwnd,HWND_NOTOPMOST,0,0,0,0,SWP_NOMOVE|SWP_NOSIZE);
    return;
    You will notice several things: one is that the function signature has Java_Frame1_ preceeding the name of the function. If there was a
    package statement in the Java source, it would appear after Frame1_ in the function signature.
    Second, you will notice the #include jni.h. Normally this would be #include<jni.h>, depending on how you have your libraries set up within
    your C compiler.
    4. create the shared library
    Now you are ready to create the shared library. Using your C compiler, create a .dll file with the code from the C implementation file. Refer
    to the doccumentation of the C compiler for details on creating a .dll file.
    For those interested in using Borland C++ Builder:
    If you have got it installed, you could use Borland C++ Builder 3 or C++ Builder 4 to create your DLL file. If this is the case, you would use
    File | New... | DLL C++ Builder will then generate some code for you, and you will just need to add your implementation code to the code
    which was generated.
    Remember in the Java code in step one there is a line:
    static {
    System.loadLibrary("windowOnTop");
    windowOnTop is the name of the .dll file. You can name it whatever you want, just make sure that you specify the appropriate name when
    loading the library.
    5. run the application
    Finally you are ready to run the application. From the command line use java.exe and as the argument specify the name of the class that
    you compiled in step one. Once the system loads your DLL, the window that the VM creates should mimic the Always On Top
    functionality.

  • Ipod touch/ iphone safari error 404 ... "try using Device-width constant..?

    so ya will trying to watch some videos i got error 404 and debug console tip was : Viewport width or height set to physical device width , try using "device-width" constant instead of future compatibility.
    but the question is...how do i change "device-width"? ...i looked all threw settings on my ipod and i cant find it.
    starting to get mad at ipod touch...may throw it at a wall soon XD (jk...maybe)
    but pls any help would...help

    The thing on the debug console is just a message to developers, giving a tip for coding the website. It isn't something you should worry about (unless you own the website) and it isn't causing the problem.
    404 means there's no file at the URL. So either the URL is wrong or the file disappeared off the website.

  • Using the Adobe Reader Distribution Agreement link results in an error 404

    I have a current Distribution Agreement for Reader etc but the link to download Reader results in an error 404 - Sorry, this page is not available.

    Hi Ben,
    Thanks for the response. I would have posted a link but as part of the distribution agreement it is not to be shared/posted.
    I already have a current distribution agreement so the Volume distribution page does not help.
    From the Enterprise Toolkit Home I accessed ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/ and was able to download from /pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.10/en_US so thanks for the link.
    Still does not fix the 404 error though on the distribution download link http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/runtime-distribution3.html#?????-???? (sanitised).

  • THE PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND - HTTP ERROR 404

    I have just installed i-WEB 08 and have tried to publish a web page. I have saved, as prescribed and, to my knowledge, there are no passwords associated with the web page. When I try to access the page using SAFARI v3.0.4 the following error message appears:
    "The page cannot be found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please try the following: Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your browser is spelled and formatted correctly. If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site administrator to alert them that the link is incorrectly formatted. Click the Back button to try another link.
    HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.

    I have checked address is as supplied and tried adding my user name to the www address without luck. Friends have also had same error message.
    Can anyone supply an answer, please.

    Did you publish to .Mac or another host?
    Were there any warnings or errors during publishing?
    What is the URL of the page you get the error on?

  • Error 404 -- Not Found, when a Servlet is invoked from browser

    Obviously, I have not been able to configure my WebLogic Server 5.1.0 to run
              even the simplest servlet.
              I painstakenly went through all the steps that are listed in the WebLogic
              Server 5.1.0 documentation on the Web to enable servlets, but obviously, I
              have missed a step somewhere.
              I have modified the weblogic.properties file as per all the instrustions,
              but the server simply won't recognize any servlets, not even the SqlServlet
              that came with the server as an example.
              It would require more than 1 exchange of posts to resolve it for me, and I
              am wondering if one of you is willing to work with me on this until I have
              managed to configure the server to make a servlet work on it.
              The server does function as a Web server as I can run the index.html
              document by entering the URL: http://localhost:7001/index.html
              I am pasting the contents of weblogic.properties file below to get the
              person who is willing to help me started.
              The machine I have is a Pentium III with Windows 2000 Professional on it.
              It's a home machine and the WebLogic server is the freely downloadable
              version. I am using it to prepare for a potential contract work.
              I have managed to modify setEnv.cmd file and have managed to compile the
              SqlServlet.java, which is an example servlet. Neither this particular
              servlet nor a HelloWorld type of very basic servlet I have written are
              recognized by the server.
              As you can see from my weblogic.properties file (pasted at the end of this
              post), the SqlServlet has been registered. I have also uncommented the lines
              to allow for the following type of URL:
              http://localhost:7001/servlet/myServlet
              Thanks!

    Problem Resolved!
              I found out that I had 'http' instead of 'httpd' in the statement where I
              registered my servlet, SqlServlet.
              Now, I am having difficulty with hot deployment. The server is returning
              error 404.

  • EPM 11.1.2.3 ,Error 404 - Not Found

    Hi All,
    I am getting the following error after my installation and configuration of EPM 11.1.2.3 and when I try to access the Workspace URL.
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol --
    HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
    The server has not found anything matching the
    Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or
    permanent.
    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client,
    the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code
    SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable
    mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding
    address.
    I installed 11.1.2.3 in windows 7 ultimate OS and 64 bit and using sql server 2005 Database and configured Essbase,planning, hfm, arm, fcm,fdm ,hpcm, , everything was configured successfully but when I open the workspace URL it is throwing "Error 404 not found"
    I tried accessing http://machinename:7001/console (I replaced machinename with my machinename)
    even here I am getting the same error, but I checked the database and it has the table hss_component_types and it is populated with the various products.
    could you guide me
    Regards,
    SG

    First of all "I installed 11.1.2.3 in windows 7 ultimate OS", it is not a supported OS so if you want assistance problem solving you should stick with a supported OS.
    It also looks like you have installed a whole range of products some requiring additional configuration and the requirement of SOA.
    I recommend starting with a support OS and only install products that are required.
    Cheers

  • I am getting an incessant error 404 message: I don't understand what the issue is or how to correct it

    THe message reads:
    The URL https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user///calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user/ encountered HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct.
    It's really annoying; I can disable the account altogether I think, but I'd rather have a gmail linked calendar.  I just have no idea how to fix this error.

    Running the Lion Os requires a MINIMUM of 2 GB of RAM, as you have.  However, with that little RAM the computer will have trouble with many memory based tasks, such as copying and pasting.  You really need to increase the amount of RAM your computer has in order to increase its speed and performance.  Now, when a task requires more RAM than your system has available then the OS will use some harddrive space temporarily instead.  This is called "Virtual Memory."  Is it possible that at this time that your harddrive is very full relative to its stated capacity, so that even "virtual memory" is not really available?  If that is the case, you really need to cleanup your harddrive by deleting a fair number of less used files.
    Hope this helps

  • Error 404 when trying to access online Help in EPM 11.1.2.3

    HI All,
           I am trying to access on line help (pressing F1) in EPM 11.1.2.3 but I'm getting the folowing error :
    404 - File or directory not found.
    The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
           Also I'm getting this error when try to install some client tool such as HFM Client from Tools--> Install --> HFM Client for 64bits.
           Does anyone could help on that ?
    Thanks,

    What web server are you using, if it is OHS then the online will be automatically configured and redirect to the help located on the Oracle website.
    If you are using a different web server or want to run the help locally have a read of - Configuring Online Help to Run Locally
    I also wrote a blog based on 11.1.1.2.2 - More to life than this...: 11.1.2.2 Online help or not
    Cheers

  • LSO Content Player  Error - HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found

    Hi All
    Please could you assist.
    I have published a course to my ISS CMS and configured the links in both ECC and J2EE lsm/mediator.
    Result
    Username='username', SystemName='HRD', Client='030', Host='22.22.22.22', Language='EN', SystemNumber='00', EnablePoolSharing='true', MaxConnection=50, AbapDebug=false:
    CPCFG.RSURL = http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content/
    CPCFG.REPUS = username
    ServerURL=http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content/  ok!
    I was able to successfully publish the course from the Authoring Environment to the CMS server.
    When selecting the starting the course from the portal with content player i get the following error.
    HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found
    But the URL is referring to - http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator/courseview?sid=8685627505550088697845288091101&language=EN&sys=HRD&client=030&sap-accessibility=X
    How does directory http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator get created when the content is in http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content ??
    Secondly can I change this reference to my LSO600/Content directory.
    Please advise with any information. Point will be awarded.
    Regards
    Maahir

    Dear Maahir,
    We are facing the same problem. We are pointing over CMS to IIS, instead of KM content of portal. We are successfully able to release and publish the course, then attach to a course participant also.
    But. When participants logs into the portal and click on Start Now. It giving 404 file not found Error. Its the same error. All our Course and content pointed to CMS IIS Server Url.
    When we did the content player config test, result is NOT OK. We have required R3 authorization and CMS user authorization also with admin rights. Content Player console is working in AE when we start up the course. Its showing the error.
    So, it seems like content player is not working properly. Bcoz we are launching course from  http://WEBDAV repository server maintained in back end system. Which is the IIS(CMS Server)for us. Do we need to maintain anything separately to launch a course from IIS Server on R3 and SAP Portal. Below sample URL from page.
    http://Sever:port/lms/mediator/courseview = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Could you please us know, how did you resolve the issue and tell me the cause of this issue.
    Thanks and Regards
