Using Keynote as Flash Importing into iWeb

i am trying to import a flash file i made in keynote but there is a terrible border that surrounds the flash - has anyone had any luck? thanks

I´m not sure if this works since I don't have any flash file near myself, but you should try to go to View > Show Inspector. Then you could go to the Graphics tab and select Stroke: None.
Also you could insert some shapes and place them around the flash file.

Tutorials on using Keynote to enhance iMovie or IWeb projects

Are their any tutorials, urls, etc. that go into depth about using Keynote to improve iMovie or iWeb projects? In other words, using the features of Keynote to produce some cool object that is then placed in one of those programs?
I have been doing some already, but suspect I am barely scratching the surface of what Keynote could do for iMovie or iWeb.

The best way I've found to make a movie from a presentation on the iPad is with the app Explain Everything. You can send your keynote file to Explain Everything as a pdf and then narrate and annotate while recording audio. In the end Explain Everything outputs mpeg-4 videos that most any device can view. We use it heavily for the classes I teach.

Importing Flash Animations Into iWeb...

I noticed that in the few days I have had the privilege of using iWeb, I have noticed that Flash animations that I have created only show up as links on the page, and not actual Flash animations (meaning, when wanting to show the Flash animations on a website, they only show up as a small link, and don't automatically run on the website....
So, my question is this: Does iWeb support Flash animations? If so, how do you import them into iWeb without them simply showing up as links? Thanks in advance for your swift response....

Just any theme download from a site is not enough. The 3rd party themes must be designed specifically for iWeb and, as such, should have an installer included.
Otherwise, start with either the white, black, or formal themes and use graphic files from those themes to create a custom design.

Can you import charts created in excel or charts from financial websites (i.e. daily stock market charts) into iweb? If yes, can you please explain? Thanks

You need to upgrade to V 3.0.4 or run iWeb on an external drive under Snow Leopard.

Rebuilt my iMac and now want to import my former sites into the iweb application. Where can i find these files and then import them into iWeb?

BC provides you templates to use to modify and sell to a client. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be there. For example, the templates are offered when you go to create a new site. BC asks if you want to use a template, import a site, etc… so your analogy doesn’t apply in this situation.

iWeb cannot import or edit html. You will have to recreate the site in iWeb.

Importing different templates into iweb

Hi,
I asked this question awhile back and it was suggested I go to the 11mystics website to manually add the template into iweb. Well I don't have the type of template that is described on this site. I have a free one I found on www.templatebox.com
It has fonts, html, jped and psd folders. Is is possible to use this type of template to import into iweb.

Fitting widescreen iMovies into iWeb

I've created this movie in the 16:9 widescreen format and tried to import it into iWeb, but iWeb converts it to a 4:3 regular tv set size and the whole thing looks skewed. I tried to import it into a rectangle holder with the 16:9 dimensions, but the video comes out blurry. Is there anyway to import into iWeb and keep the 16:9 dimensions and keep the quality of the video high?

iWeb Should only import the file and it will not convert or change its dimensions unless you tell it to.
Use the QuickTime Inspector in iWeb 2 to make sure the original dimensions aren't being altered.

Motion graphics from AE imported into FCP6 are jittery

I am having an issue with graphics rendered out of AE, using the Animation codec, imported into FCP 6 being jittery. I am editing in HD, using the DVCProHD 720 P24 settings in my project. The same graphics did not jitter before we upgraded to FCP 6 and Studio 2.
We can get rid of the jitters if we take the file back into AE and render it out using DVCProHD 720 P60 settings. But the graphic designer is using a PC and that codec isn't available there.
Has anyone else had this problem or do you have any suggestions for us?

try rendering out your movie file in After Effects using the Animation copression. This is totally uncompressed and may require rendering in your FCP sequence, but I have always had a sure shot using this codec. It works well for XDCAM and HDV timelines also.

IWeb pages gone! - can I reload them back into iWeb from my iDisk folder

Hi,
I reinstalled OSX on my iMac (dont ask...) but I forgot to save any info from iWeb on pages that are aready published. I reinstalled OSX but now iWeb is empty but my web pages are still active and the whole lot is still in my iDisk web folder.
Obvious question coming up.... can I get the pages / folder re-imported into iWeb?

Exporting from Keynote to Flash (.swf) to use in iWeb

I'm working on an animation in Keynote to show it in my iWeb page. I know it is possible but I'm having some problems during the export. I know about the transitions, but is not that. Is the object itself. There are 6 objects: business logo and 5 characters created in Illustrator and Photoshop together. It's all nice during the Keynote presentation but when I export that for Flash, 3 of 6 objects don't show correctly.
All objects are in .psd

Im using Keynote 09 and I have tried to export through the share option in the menu bar. I have also tried to save as a powerpoint and they both give me errors that are unknown.

You CAN add a Keynote presentation into iWeb (exported as a QuickTime movie), you just have to be aware of some minor issues. One of the issues you'll run into you can see on this page.

Depending on the speed of your connection, if it starts playing early, it will do the first slide over and over until the full thing has been downloaded. Give it a try and post back here or in the Keynote discussions if you have any problems.

How to Upload Flash into iWeb from Quick Time?

Hi,
I have created a flash logo in Keynote and have exported it to QuickTime. Not quite sure what to do now as to how I go about getting it into iWeb on the page.
I copied Roddy's code and placed it in an html snippet on my site and it just shows up as a quicktime player.
I am publishing to an external server. Do I need to upload the flash/quicktime file to my media folder on my server?

If you created it with Keynote '09 there is no option to export a .swf as there was in '08.
I think the illustration I referred you to is a QT in an iFrame because Keynote '08 can't export the 3D transition as flash. I guess that's why they dropped it in '09.
The settings are:
Effect: Color Planes
Duration: 3 seconds
Direction: Left to Right
Start transition: Automatically
Delay: 2 seconds
Too many people on the dark side don't have QuickTime. I do all my music as flash now and have started to use FAExporter for iPhoto to display images
