Using latest version of iOS7 on a iPhone 4s, there is NO "accept" button for the 54 pages of Terms
Using the latest version of iOS7 on an iPhone 4S there is no "accept" button for the Terms & Conditions. Therefore I now have 23 apps that will not update.
I tried to fix this by updating on my laptop. No go. The sync crashes EVERY TIME at "Step 6 of 7".
I've searched the forums, and tried all suggestions, to no avail.
HELP.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are having issues accepting the Terms & Conditions. If you have not already done so, you may want to restart your iPhone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

You may also want to make sure cookies are not blocked and private browsing is turned off in Settings > Safari (you can also take this opportunity to Clear Cookies and Data):

I need to edit a re-occurring event in calender on my iPhone and there is no edit button for that event. How do I edit or delete it?
I am not sure how this works but it seems that it may be all or nothing.
To turn off Facebook events on your device:
Settings > Facebook > Calendars > Off

My iPhone prompted me to download the latest version of iOS7. I did, and now my phone won't power on. It just shows an iTunes icon on a black screen. When I connect my phone to iTunes on my laptop, the only option it gives me is to restore my phone's factory settings. But won't this erase all my photos, contacts, etc? Any suggestions?
It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. You have to restore the phone. Anything that was on it is already gone.
If you've been backing up/syncing on a regular basis, you won't lose anything except what's changed since the last backup. -
I have a ipad mini 16GB and i was trying to update it to the latest version of ios7 but it went into recovery mode how do i get this recovery mode away without eraseing any data using a windows 8 computer?
Plug it into iTunes and restore it with your backup. You should have a backup in iTunes or iCloud.

As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

The latest version of iTunes is installed when you update the iOS version. If you are getting a message to update iTunes, it is saying to update iTunes on your computer, not the iPad.

I'm having a wee posting spree today after lacking the inclination to respond to the same old threads for the last few days. Someone else's Notes appearing on my iPhone. I'm using version 5.0.1. I assume there is some type of over-the-air sync problem happening?
Doing a restore will more than likely resolve the problem. Plug the phone into iTunes, select your phone under DEVICES, and press Restore. This will restore your phone to factory settings. Now, after the restore is complete, you have two options:
1) Restore from Backup
This will let you restore all of the content you had on your phone but may also restore the other person's notes and their ability to sync notes to your phone.
2) Set Up as New iPhone
Your data will not be restored, but you can always sync content back later as long as it is in iTunes. On the positive side, this would positively remove any setting that would allow someone else's notes to appear on your phone.
You will be presented with these two options after the restore. I recommend restoring from a backup first so you won't lose your data, but if it doesn't solve the problem, proceed to restore as a new phone. -
When I use time machine with my external harddrive to back up computer, some music from iTunes library, and some photos from iPhoto library are missing when I check backup disk. I am using latest version of mountain lion. Am I doing something wrong?
First, Time Machine doesn't completely back up the iPhoto library while iPhoto is running. Make sure you quit iPhoto after making any changes to allow a backup to take place.
This simple procedure will clear your Time Machine settings, including both overt and hidden exclusions. If you have a long exclusion list that can't be recreated easily, you may prefer a more complicated procedure that preserves the exclusion list. In that case, ask for instructions. Otherwise, do as follows.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a file selected. Copy it to the Desktop. Then move it (the original, not the copy) to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your administrator password. Reboot, recreate your settings in the Time Machine preference pane, and run a backup to test. If TM now performs as expected, delete the file you copied to the Desktop. -
