Using Logic Pro 9 and Tascam DM-4800. Can't get the Tascam to work as a control surface via firewire... any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
The DM-4800 and Logic see each other, the firewire shows as 'locked' on both. Can pass audio back and fourth, no automation from the Tascam though. I know its either a midi setting or control surface settings... but I'm stumped. Newbie at Logic here. Any ideas what to check? Thanks in advance!
Plug in the usb lead.

Have a brand new dell. Not much on it but Premiere elements 13. Haven't used it for anything else - only 5 days old. I am in Premiere, add vid, render then poof. it says add media where those rendered files were. any help would be appreciated. thank you

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on?
What are you (manually) or the project (automatically) setting as the project preset?
(See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if fields look grayed out).
What are the properties of these source media, including file extension? The brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the
video may give us this information.
When the source media hit the Timeline for the first time, is there an orange line over their content? Or is there
no colored line and an orange line appears over them only after you have edited them?
Please elaborate on "poof" after rendering the Timeline content by pressing the Render button above the Timeline content with the orange line over it.

I'm sorry, had you already pointed out the rules which stated that lines from 2 separate accounts were eligible??? I don't see anywhere in the advertisement specifically stating that lines from 2 separate accounts would be eligible, so THAT is not what's advertised, either.
As far as I know Verizon's BOGO offers have ALWAYS been for lines on the same account. Possibly someone could chime in where they have received this offer on 2 separate accounts? The ONLY exception to this was someone getting the offer with 2 eligible lines on their account, reactivating the old phone on one of the lines and then giving one of the new phones to someone on another account.

Since you have a new hard drive, there is nothing on it, so you need to boot from an external source (and probably format the hard drive before installing an OS). Are you booting from the 10.6 install disk? Better yet - do you have a bootable backup clone or at least a Time Machine backup?

I'm an independent software developer. My client had me write a program to run on their web site (which I did as an ActiveX control). Some of their clients are using Firefox instead of IE. So how can we support those clients who want to use Firefox?
My first question is whether Firefox has a plug-in that will run ActiveX controls, and my second question is, if not, then what programming environment (IDE) can be used in order to re-write the ActiveX.
Please note: the source code contains trade secrets. Therefore, it is not an option that the source code be open source or available to the public.
So, finally, does the technology exist to provide the same capabilities that my ActiveX provides, while operating in a Firefox environment, and still have protected code?

If that does not resolve the issue, I would suggest the attempt to set them up using a different computer or device. Please can someone help, I am just trying to set up iCloud on my iPad. When I click on accept terms and conditions it says unable to connect to server? Check this. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is correct as well.

It looks like you may need a mini-displayport to Displayport cable. You can also try holding the option key while clicking on "scaled" to see if the option you need comes up.

Just got Mac book pro. I can't connect to office remotely thru the remote window. My office is window based and I have no problem connecting while at the office thru the server but cannot at home. Any help would be appreciated!

That teh MacBook cannot connect with RWW because it requires Active-X to connect. That MAc browsers (Safari) do not use Active-X but only Windows (IE) uses Active-X control.
It would seem to me that there must be a way around this. Any help?
