Using LR 2.7-good idea to upgrade to current LR? Please help
Hello,
I am not sure what I should do and would like some advice. I am using one of the versions of LR. Its quite slow and get lots of not responding, in which case I have to wait for it to respond. Other than that, its fine to work with, but lately it seems like people tell me I need to upgrade as you will benefit from it, but then when I ask them what the beneficial are, they don't tell me. Anyone shed some light on this?

I agree with what's been said here, if LR2.7 is not performing on your machine, LR3.3 is mostlikely going to be somewhat slower. This does not mean there's nothing that can be done about it, but in the plain comparison (environment being equal) LR3 tends to consume more resources than LR2. This is legitimate in parts, as there are powerful new functions included.
I am running LR3.3 on a 6 year old single core 3.2GHz Xeon machine, with WinXP and 4GB of memory (of which only 3 is used). It doesn't run super fast, but I can work with it (I'm not a pro).

Be aware, you go that route & every time you try to update or restore, it will error out, leaving your phone unusable. Not to mention, you void all warranty/support.
Sell it & use the proceeds towards an officially unlocked iPhone bought directly from Apple.

I have been using GRAB to capture screen displays. It has just stopped working since the last OSX Upgrade. Can anyone, please help restore functionality?

Upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.
If you sign into the App Store and try to purchase Mountain Lion but the App Store says your computer is not compatible then you may still be able to upgrade to Lion per the following information.

To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. my iphone does not sync with itunes on my second authorized computer, please help. i changed the first authorized computer in May 2012 and have been using the second authorized computer since then but it cannot sync - please help!!

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data. -
Having same issue as dtwaldo1 - utility recognizes unit but when I try to install get error message and try again, Have tried all combinations I can conceive but still get message. My old airport operates OK on same system - but utility does not recognize old model airports. I'm using a PC running windows 8.1 (sorry). Cay you please help?

If you trying connect two Universal apps through Bluetooth, can you check if the
Windows 8.1 Bluetooth RFComm sample runs fine on both the devices? I successfully tested the Windows 8.1 Bluetooth RFComm sample on Laptop (Windows 8.1) and Windows Phone 8.1 (paired).
Make sure the service which you are trying to advertise/listen is supported by both the devices.

I am still trying to update my Ipod touch 4 to the iOS 6 version. It is on the 4.3.5 (8L1) version. When I go to settings-General-it just says About and nothing about an update. I have no idea how to update it! Please help!
You can only update via the ipod with ios 5 or later.
You need to update via itunes on your computer as always. -

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

i solve my red frame problem. originally my project was done in premiere pro cc 2014.2 & i render in Encoder cc 2014. in newer version i get lots of red frames. i complain a lot to adobe customer support . they said they know the issues but they couldn't solve. I was so tired from adobe customer support. one of the worse customer services i had. My friend got the mac pro & e got premiere pro cc 7.2 version. i convert all my footage mxf to mp4 in encoder cc 7.2 version and i succeed. i don't get any red frames.
So i think the problem is in adobe encoder cc 2014.2 version. newer version. -

You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.
