Using LR5 after having transferred the license and bought LR5 Cloud

After having transferred my license og Lightroom 5 to another person I woul like to use the Cloud offer of Photoshop CC and Lightroom. How do I do with the "version" og LR? Do I need to unistall it and the download it again and in that case: How will my libraries be kept for the new downloaded version? Or can I jus get the new ser. no and put it in again?

There is no serial number on the CC subscription version.
You won't have any problems but the person you sold it to might. I think you'd better call adobe and have them change the registration manually if you want the transfer to be immediate.
I had a license for LR5 and later moved to the CC Photographer subscription. It took about 2 months for everything to sort out in the CC desktop app, but eventually it did.

I have restored my iphone 3gs after having only the apple logo, it took me through all the restore, a page saying 'congrats your phone is now unlocked', and allowed me to chose to set up from new or back up....yet still displays only the apple logo.

G4 HiRes Powerbook shuts down after having closed the lid

I own a less then 6 months old 15" 1.67 GHz HiRes Alu Powerbook. Every now and, after having closed the lid, I have observed that when I reopen the pb it has shut down. The battery is still fully charged, so it can't be the case that the pb has not gone to sleep and it has thus discharged the battery. I also think it has happend with both the power adapter connected and disconnected.
In the past I deleted power managment pref files (can't remember the details) as advised by Apple in their tech papers, which resolved sleeping problems (not mine though :-))
All tips appreciated.

Occasionally with mine, it only appears to have shut down.
I close the lid, and there is no pulsing light. the light is off as though its shutdown.
then if I open the lid, hit a key or two, wait, then close it again, and wait, the pulsing light will appear and if I then open it, it will wake from sleep.
Weird, but you might give it a go. This seems to happen often when running video-related applications, but I have no real data here and do not know what causes it. After I discovered this problem, I use it now to prevent having to lose my work and restart.

Safari freezed after having tapped the Search box

My iPad safari always freeze when I tap on the search box. No use after having cleared cookies, history and even reinstall iOS 5.01.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

So I ordered a NEW in Box Octane and I am having trouble with that too. Bing won't work, nothing will work that will enable me to download Verizon Opera mini that still works on my old phone. It's just the battery sign - nothing else. I've tried to reboot by holding down both power and home key for 10+ seconds, waiting for the apple logo - but nothing happens. It's plugged into the imac at the moment. I tried to recharge it overnight using the normal charger - but no luck. It went dead during a Skype call with a friend - even though it was powered into the mains - albeit at a low battery level at the time

I would like to purchase the license and serial number for Lightroom 4 however even though you can download it from this site, there is no option to buy. Unfortunately I can't upgrade my computer's operating system beyond OSX 10.6.8 even though it's an intel duo so there's no point me getting Lightroom 5.
There doesn't seem to be an option to contact anyone at Adobe to see if there is an option to buy. Each time I attempt to do so I am directed to the forum, so it looks like my only option may be to use another app. Maybe capture one's the way forward

That is normal Safari behavior.
May be this will help.

Accessibility:   Never use font sizes smaller than
Default is 9.    Click the downward arrow and select a larger font size.
Put a check mark in the box to enable it.

This happened last year and in frustration I started all over again. But surely there is a way to add a new picture to a calendar that is already laid out.

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?
