Using .Mac as IMAP NOT Selecting .Mac (which uses IMAP)

Let me explain what I mean.
I have a domain, lets say "mydomain.com" And so my email address is "[email protected]".
I have emails sent from this email address to my .Mac email account (since it has a great new interface). My domain supports IMAP as does .Mac
I set up my account in mail.app by selecting .MAC (not POP or IMAP) I typed in mail.mac.com as the incoming mail server. And selected sync with imap, and typed "INBOX" for the IMAP Prefrix.
My outgoing mail server I had smtp.mac.com
So far so good, I get all my mail forwarded from [email protected] to my .mac account. However when I send emails from mail.app it says it comes from my .Mac account, (which I do not want.)
Under account settings I changed the field that says Email address, to [email protected] but everytime I save it, it goes back to the .mac address.
I then changed my outgoing mail server to my domain info instead, but it will still not allow me to change who the emails are coming from.
So I tried yet another option, I created an IMAP account in mail.app, rather than a .MAC account. For incoming mail info, I put all the .mac info, that is mail.mac.com, and .mac login and password. Also now it lets me save my domain email address [email protected] And it let me save my outgoing info for my domain.
So I thought it would all work now, but when I try to get mail it says IMAP server "mail.mac.com" rejected the password for user "[email protected]"
And the password is definetly correct.
So what do i do?
The only other work around I found is:
To have my .MAC account set up normally, and have a separate account for my domain info. Which all makes sense execpt for the fact none of my sent messages are uploaded to .MAC online which defeats the whole purpose.
As you can see I have thought all about this, but am at a loss. Any help would be most appreaciated.

If I’ve understood it correctly, this should work, i.e. you must have done something wrong (other than the IMAP Path Prefix). That said, if the account is also set up as .Mac, you should disable Preferences > Advanced > Include when automatically checking for new mail, which in turn would avoid the problem altogether.

Payment Process Request(PPR) not selecting invoice which should be eligible

I am R12 (12.1.2), DB-11.2.0.1, Solaris 64 Bit.
The PPR process is not auto selecting some of the invoices for payment which should be eligible for selection. It was working fine before and stopped working now for some invoices.
We have seen this happening in the past also, and sometime the invoices start showing again with no particular changes.
I followed the first 12 step of the document "952763.1", but no luck.
If I go to PPR, the invoices are automatically going in tables AP_UNSELECTED_INVOICES_ALL. I mean, without unselecting them, they are automatically inserted into that table on each try.

Below are the reasons for PPR are not selecting the invoices.
1. The invoice should not be selected by any other PPR
Action: Using the aplist, confirm the checkrun_id is null in ap_payment_schedules_all.
2. The payment schedule's relevant date should be between the PPR's Pay From and Pay Through dates. The relevant date for selection can be either a discount date or the due date
(a) If the due date is between the pay from and pay through dates, the payment schedule will be eligible for selection regardless of the discount date.
Action: Find the due_date in ap_payment_schedules_all.
Find the pay_from_date and pay_thru_date in ap_inv_selection_criteria_all.
If the pay_from_date is null, just confirm the due_date is less than or equal to the pay_thru_date.
If the pay_from_date is not null, confirm the due_date is greater than or equal to the pay_from_date and the due_date is less than or equal to the pay_thru_date.
If this test passes, skip to Step 3.
(b) If the due_date doesn't fall within the parameters, we must rely on the discount date(s). However, this is only available when pay_only_when_due_flag is not Y
Action: Check the pay_only_when_due_flag in ap_inv_selection_criteria_all.
If this is Y, the payment schedule did not fall within the required date parameters and was not selected for that reason.
If it is null or N, continue to the next step.
(c) Determine the relevant discount date.
Action: Confirm the pay_date_basis_lookup_code in ap_supplier_sites_all is discount.
If not, the invoice won't be selected.
See if the always_take_disc_flag in ap_supplier_sites_all is Y.
If yes, then the relevant date is the discount_date from ap_payment_schedules_all.
If no, then find the check_date from ap_inv_selection_criteria_all.
Make the following comparisons and take the date from the first one that is true.
If the check_date is on or before discount date, take the discount date.
If the check_date is on or before the second discount date, take the second discount date.
If the check_date is on or before the third discount date, take the third discount date.
If none of the above is true, the invoice will not be selected.
(d) Confirm the relevant discount date is within the date parameters.
If the always_take_disc_flag is Y, the discount date from Step (c) must be between the pay_from_date and the pay_thru_date, inclusive.
If the always_take_disc_flag is Y and the pay_from_date is null, the discount date from Step (c) just has to be on or before the pay_thru_date.
If the always_take_disc_flag is N, the discount date from Step (c) must be between the check date and the pay_thru_date, inclusive.
3. The payment schedule cannot be fully paid
Action: Confirm the payment_status_flag in ap_payment_schedules_all is N or P
Also confirm the payment_status_flag in ap_invoices_all is N or P
4. The invoice cannot be subject to forced revalidation
Action: Confirm the force_revalidation_flag in ap_invoices_all is N or Null.
5. The payment schedule's payment priority must be between the Payment Priority High and Payment Priority Low parameters designated for the PPR
Action: Find the payment_priority from ap_payment_schedules_all.
Null counts as 99.
Confirm this is between the hi_payment_priority and low_payment_priority, inclusive, from ap_inv_selection_criteria_all.
6. Cancelled invoices will not be selected
Action: Confirm the cancelled_date is null in ap_invoices_all.
7. There cannot be a hold on the payment schedule
Action: Confirm the hold_flag in ap_payment_schedules_all is null or N.
8. A supplier site level hold will prevent payment schedule selection
Action: Confirm the hold_all_payments_flag in ap_supplier_sites_all is null or N.
9. For Payment Request invoices there must be a corresponding record in hz_party_sites
Action: If the invoice_type_lookup_code in ap_invoices_all is PAYMENT REQUEST, and the party_site_id from ap_invoices_all is not null, it must match to a party_site_id from hz_party_sites.
10. Fv_econ_benf_disc.ebd_check must return Y for this invoice
This is a federal function that determines whether it is economically beneficial to pay the invoice now. If Federal is not installed, this will always return Y.
Action: Run the following to check for federal installs

24. An invoice with holds will not be selected for payment
Action: Confirm there are no rows in ap_holds_all where release_lookup_code is null.
25. The invoice must be fully validated. A different query is executed based on whether purchase encumbrances are used for any of the included orgs
Action: Determine the value of the purch_encumbrance_flag in financials_system_parameters.
A. If the purch_encumbrance_flag is null or N, confirm none of the rows in ap_invoice_distributions_all have a match_status_flag of N or S.
B. If the purch_encumbrance_flag is Y, confirm none of the rows in ap_invoice_distributions_all have a match_status_flag of N, S or T.
26. Invoices without distributions will not get selected
Action: Confirm there are rows in ap_invoice_distributions_all.
27. For customers using CCR (a Federal functionality) the Invoice Supplier should not be CCR Expired
Action: See the statement on step 10 to determine if Federal is installed. If it is installed confirm there is not a row in FV_TPP_ASSIGNMENTS_V where the beneficiary_party_id and beneficiary_party_site_id match the party_id and party_site_id from ap_invoices_all and the fv_tpp_pay_flag equals N.

If you want to add a new user-agent into User Agent Switcher, you go into preferences > New. Most of the blanks are filled in already, so just change the Mozilla revision number that will be at the end of the User Agent line. To fake 3.5.19, just change rv:1.9.2.19 to rv:1.9.1.19. Well if there is a EFI block, then running a program in OS X isn't going to do a lick of good.
After all EFI was designed for Trusted Computing and Digital Rights Management, to act between the OS and hardware, can read drives, contact the Internet and everything.
Windows doesn't use EFI, will have UEFI in Windows 8 though.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro on Mac does not select duplex print by default

I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.8 for Mac. When I print a document, Acrobat does not select duplex print (i.e. "Print on both sides") by default. While I can manually select duplex print, I don't understand why this isn't the default option here as in every other application. Just for reference, here is a screen shot of my default print screen:
I have played around with duplex printing in the advanced properties of PDF's. I have also played around with the DuplexMode property in the com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist file. Actually, there is no DuplexMode property in the file, but I tried making one, which didn't solve the problem. There is a printBookletDuplexMode property but that doesn't seem to make a different. In any case, nothing has worked.
There are some similar questions on the forums, but they are either slightly different or haven't been answered. Is this such a difficult issue?

However, I'm not sure what you're implying by you're statement. I'm asking precisely why this setting isn't sticky. Acrobat uses a non-standard printer dialog; in the usual dialog I can easily set a defualt duplex setting. I almost always want to print duplex. Why can't I do this by default in Acrobat?

Without knowing what is on your Mac it is a little difficult to say.
Photoshop Elements will do it (Use the Magic Wand to select the area then Paint it).
GraphicConvertor comes bundled on some Macs and can do it.

Mail at .Mac vs on my Mac - which should I use ,or both?

I have Mail with On My Mac, which is where everything seems to come in, and also .Mac. I use [email protected] as my e-mail address. On My Mac puts everything, including the folders I made for various messages, on my hard drive. .Mac puts everything on my iPhone via sync, and I guess backs up those messages as well.
My questions are:
1. Should I be using just one (and if so, which one?) or both?
2. If .Mac is the one, how do I create an Inbox? I am not being allowed to create it.

Do both. But try first. And of course you can use any browser - why wouldn't it work on Mac - but as for "JAVA" that has been criticized and disabled as vulnerability issues. And I think because Java updates (not javascript) were slow to be ported to Mac OS.
And yes you can run Windows natively or in a VM. If you want the convenience of dual boot and VM, install and set it up on its own hard drive first then attach VM app to it. I use Fusion but there is Parallels and of course free VirtualBox.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If after reboot that doesn't help...
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

Put simply, the minimum system requirements for iTunes have changed. You need a Mac running at least OS X 10.6.8.
It's best you look online to see if your model of Mac can be upgraded to at least 10.6.8 "Snow Leopard". It should still be possible to order a copy of Snow Leopard if so.

CS6 on Mac: Layers in certain folders are not selectable

The problem occurs when trying to select a layer on my canvas that is not in the folder I am currently working in.
So let's say I have 2 folders named folder 1 and folder 2. When I'm working on some objects in my document that are in folder 1, it all works. Yet when I try to click and select an object on my canvas that is located in folder 2 I won't be able to select it. As if it would be locked. When I go to my layers pannel, and click on 'folder 2', It normally selects all the layers in that folder and I can select everything in there. (Until I click on something that is in 'folder 1, in which case I won't be able to select any object on my canvas again.)
It almost seems like a preference, but I haven't been able to find anything that warrants this as an (annoying) feature.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The problem is not when it's in a different layer, but when I put layers in different folders. They are not selectable at that time anymore if I'm editing an object that is in a different layers folder.
I haven't had this problem before, but now it won't go away no matter how many times I reboot. (Also tried closing all other programs like spotify, but no luck still.)
