Using multi-displays in Mavericks, when I switch workspace on one screen the others also switch

I am a programmer and I use a lot of different workspaces and 1-2 extra displays. When I switch workspaces on one display the other also move, and if I put a program to fullscreen the other displays become blank and unuseable. It messes up my workflow and is extremely annoying.
When Mavericks first came out it wasn't like this but after last update it changed again.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks a lot! The settings just reset after update, I feel really stupid right now but also relieved
